tom760 : Not sure of your schedule if/when you wanted to fix my startup stuff and whatnot. I've always felt like more is auto-starting than necessary, but probably nothing detrimental. Personally, I'm at home now and won't be on my computer as frequently until the end of Thanksgiving break. But after that I should be free enough if there was something you wanted to check via remote access.

In the mean time, I've captured shot of the CPU not adding up to what the Processes are dishing out. I know Chrome is supposed to be one of the more intense browsers but 20 =/=60. It even shot up to 95 right before the print screen went off.

tom760 : Well, I don't know if you can help or not but, my problem is that I can't remember my password to one of my laptops- Acer and I have tried just about everything including booting from a CD and different software online to help but, nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the screenshot, but I'm not clear on what your issue is.  I'll review some of the more advanced ways to monitor process and system stats and can possibly try that with you soon.  You will have to let me know when you're available for that.  There are all kinds of more advanced counters that can be monitored including ones that will help identify if hard drive accesses and/or low memory causing excessive virtual memory usage are a big issue.  I could possibly rig something up for you to do as soon as you notice the problem and have it capture data for me to look at.

Sorry to hear you lost your password.  I'm not familiar with how hard that is to deal with, but could look into it.  What version of Windows?

Just  keep me posted.  I added all of you who wanted PC help to my friends list & you can add me+msg me when you're available.

As far as how long it will take, I'm not really sure.  You mentioned thinking you might have a virus, but I woudn't count on it.  At the same time though your description was unclear to me.  I don't know what LiveSplit is and am going to have to look into things once I understand the problem.  Hoping I can fix it for you, but not really sure how long it will take.  Even just 15 minutes to see the issue you're describing could help me know better what to research online.  If we did virus/malware scans, those can take a while.  If you wanted me to do tuneup stuff for performance improvement that will add extra time.  I've had zero people so far that I've done this for and need to iron out my procedures.  I can just work with the amount of time you have free and skip extra tuning stuff if time is an issue.  For some of the first people I help I'm willing to invest 2-3+ hours free looking for ways to fix things up.  Also with some things it could be ongoing somewhat where I configure things a certain way and give you a little time (several days for instance) to evaluate if you noticed a change.

tom760 : Windows 7. I just found another software that I will try today to remove the password with and reboot from USB Flash drive. If that doesn't work I'll comment here again or send you a message which ever you prefer.

Ok, good luck.

If I was Mario and any guy did anything like that to a decent girl, I would be aiming to smurf the douche and make it so if he even fantasized about having a wiener again or getting satisfaction related to attraction towards females in any way he could control he would instantly be in excruciating pain+maybe more.  I love girls more than anything basically.

I have two laptop batteries and switched to my 2nd one just a few minutes ago.  If anyone wants computer help / a tuneup today, it's best to let me know sooner rather than later as I don't know if I'll be anywhere to recharge today.

Mostly I planned on things like: installing some pc utility programs & running the assorted features like to scan for malware, registry issues, startup items to consider disabling (registry, startup folder, services, scheduled tasks).  Looking at the windows event log for issues.  Stuff like that.

That's true you don't know if you can trust me and it's scary in general that kind of thing over the internet giving remote computer access.  Up to you.  I'm a really honest ethical guy though and God knows I've never put one line of code in the Vizzed plugin or any other software project with intention to do anything unethical.  I think it will help me a lot once I have a bunch of past customers + positive social media reviews and stuff.  RockstarComputerHelp.com is my company.  You're always welcome to watch the session when I control the computer (if I did).

Well trying to help gmac69 was challenging due to lagginess.  Going to keep trying to tune my software better though and hope I already did a good bit.

Great news though.  I got inspired to fix Windows XP support as that was one complaint he had, that the plugin didn't work for Windows XP.  tRIUNE reported this in the past and I just never got around to investigating far enough to fix it.  I did today though.

If anyone uses Windows XP and wants to use the plugin, here's the link to this updated version.  I expect David will make an announcement soon.
