I can't seem to save my state at any time while using Visual Advance. I press F2, and nothing happens. Is this a premium perk, or is something wrong?

undertakerfreak : Save states are available for most systems and ALL users.

Usually in a case where someone is having an issue with save states, it's one of a couple of things.

1. If using your keyboard as a controller, make sure the game window is active by clicking your mouse on it before hitting F2.

2. Oftentimes laptops have Fkeys assigned to other primary functions to save space. So in order to use the Fkeys on a lot of laptops, you have to hold the Fn key (usually found in the lower left hand corner of your keyboard)

Also make sure you have admin rights and there's enough space on your hard drive because the save files are stored locally on the computer you create them from.

Space shouldn't be an issue...the saves aren't that big.
If you are able to download the roms, creating saves shouldn't be an issue.

I think its most likely the FN key issue.
Try finding the FN key, press and hold that and then press f2.
Do the same to load. (Hold FN press f4)

undertakerfreak : I really doubt the browser itself would be the issue. Aside from some sort of weird browser addon. I use Firefox from time to time and never had an issue like this before. Although you could try a different browser just for kicks to see if you have the same problem.
