So here's my question, how did you find Vizzed?

Was it due to retro gaming? Like me?

Were you introduced to Vizzed by a buddy?

I think it's mostly due to gaming xD

But anyway, I found Vizzed while searching for games. I was too lazy and cheap to buy a console...

And here I've been since.

I found Vizzed when I went to search for a place for play Super Mario Land 2. I discovered this website and created my account that I have today.

Well, I believe I was trying to find a way to play retro games when I was 5 or something. For some reason, I thought the site would give me a virus if I downloaded the plugin.

Flash forward 5-7 years, I was bored and decided to revisit a site I once thought was evil . That happened to be Vizzed. I registered, made a newbie thread, and decided to stay .

And after that, a lot happened. I mean A LOT.

I found this while searching to play Pokemon Games online several years ago--back when I was in high school and in a computer lab class so 5 years? I had an account WAAAY back when just for gaming (never did any posting) but I long since lost the email and password (and it was probably all for one of the emails I lost as well), so I made a new one and then began posting here. But retro gaming yes. As well as hacks because I loved the Pokemon Quartz hack for whatever reason. 

I wanted to play Splatter house online some years ago. Got hooked. Been in out ever since.

I was trying to find someplace where I could play Minish Cap online because I was a dumb kid and couldn't figure out how emulators worked so I searched it on google and was brought to one of those "ask" sites or yahoo answers or something like that and the top answer was Vizzed. I never actually made an account until I was here for a couple years I think when I got interested in the forums. I've been here much longer than my profile says :3

I did get to play Minish Cap, except the copy here freezes at a certain point. I dunno if it's been fixed yet or not. I haven't tried.

How did I find vizzed you ask?, well for starters I'm a emulator gamer,I love playing  old school games for older systems like N64 , NES and SNES and so on and I just got tired of having to find a reliable place to download roms, while looking for a place to download roms from by using  Google it recommend  vizzed for playing classic games on retro systems for free so I figured I'd check it out and I gotta say I'm glad I did the game room collection here is amazing I've never seen any site even close to the amount of games you have access to here and after using the site for about a month I decided to make an account.

Redbattler : I found Viz 3 years ago while searching for online video games and started as a guest playing up to 5 games a day when I noticed the huge selection of games that the site has I decided to open an account so I could have unlimited game plays.

Just like 95% of the userbase I googled "pokemon game online" and came across this website. Been active ever since and just recently celebrated my 3rd anniversary on here

Well, this is a rather strange story, as it seems to me, anyway. I found Vizzed thanks to a completely different site. Not Google, nor Bing, nor any other search engine(s).

Several years ago, there was this site that let one play retro games, similar to this one. However, a certain day came that once I tried to go to that same site, it re-directed me to Vizzed.

I did not immediately sign up on Vizzed, as I thought it was not free. A couple of months later, however, I considered registering, but once I pulled up the browser, the internet was not up. This lasted for about 2 weeks before I finally had internet. It took about another week to remember Vizzed. Finally, I had registered.

My only regret is that I did not register sooner, as I love Vizzed.

I think it was sometime mid 2011, I found it after having used another emulating site that specifically had GB/GBC games on which I played the old Pokemon games. But I wanted to find a way to play the GBA Pokemon games or specifically Pokemon Ruby, I didn't really know of emulators being a thing at the time (and didn't want to risk getting a virus) and after finally doing some google searching I came across vizzed and to my amazement it actually worked. So I played the game as a guest for a few days before finally registering to get past the guest limit per day and that's basically it. For about a year or two after registering

I exclusively kept to the RGR and barely even knew about the other features in particular the board, until I finally saw what the tour de vizzed was and started posting some, eventually making a new account (which I didn't knew wasn't allowed at the time but likely got to keep as I was still a pretty unknown member). I never became really active until early last year though with the introduction of the minecraft server I managed to become friends with some of the users active on the site which lead to finally start becoming a regular of the site as well in stead of just coming and leaving for periods of time.

I found Vizzed mostly because I was once a part of 8bbit, but they had a site that was part of 8bbit's family where I can play 16-bit SNES games but the games were broken (can't load). It got me thinking about playing SNES games, so I search a random SNES game on Google and it lead me to here and thus, I joined the site and here we are now.

Last year i found it through google images. I have no idea what I was looking up but I saw a thread about super mario rpg (game I was playing at the time) and so i decided to make an account and a year and a half later I am still here.

I had been playing on Kongregate a whole lot, but they just didn't have what I wanted.  Don't get me wrong, their games are great, but I really wanted to play some old school console games without having to buy them.  I have a pretty large collection already from the Atari 2600 to the Playstation 3.  I looked up free games and up popped Vizzed.  I am so thankful for this site and I gratefully look forward to watching it grow.  I wont look at another site for as long as you guys are here

I found the site when I was working on a project to catalog c64 games.
I found what I was looking for but then started playing games on the RGR... soon after I registered.
When I started to post and visit the chat,I was hooked and been here since. :3

I came across it around 2010-2011 when looking for the Parasite Eve collection.  I was extremely happy to find out I could play games for free that I hadn't seen in years.

Back in middle school, I tried to get my friend into emulation, but he couldn't figure it out so he found this site and told me about it.

When my NES console finally decided to stop working only some 4 or so years ago, I was devastated. I frantically tried to find one online, but I couldn't find one fit enough for me to purchase. Then I saw this link to a website that you could "download NES games for free," or it said something like that anyway.

Long story short, I found myself on the Vizzed Board for the first time ever and I haven't looked back. Thank goodness I found a website like this! I'll always be grateful for it.

I kept stumbling across the site while looking for certain roms.  I only joined up when I realized that I could play N64 and PS1 titles without downloading an emulator.  The fact that there's prepatched romhacks was icing on the cake so to speak.

I found Vizzed in November of 2014. I was googling Fire Red free online and I came across Vizzed. I have played so many Pokémon games since I have been on Vizzed and I have played a few other games as well. I have also been a little bit more active on the boards lately and in the Chat Room. 

I used to play retro games online on a site called playr.org or something.  It was alright, but Vizzed is far superior. I was looking for a better site since that site only had handheld games as far as I could tell, and I found Vizzed through Google. Thus starting my Vizzed journey.

Local Mods : this should be a sticky, considering how often the subject comes.

Anyway, once upon a time I wanted to try the real Final Fantasy III and found it on this inferior Flash website. But when I wanted to play Dragon Warrior III I noticed that I could not save the game properly. So I started looking and found Vizzed.

My wife has been on here for years, and she told me about it one night, and I've been hooked ever since.

Well It All Started When I Was Bored And Had Nothing To Do But When I Saw This I Thought To Myself I Might Try This Website Out And When I Did I Was So Entertained So Now I'm Hooked On This Site I Also Showed My Friends This And They Also Got Hooked

I was 10 years old, and I was looking for a place to play Ocarina of Time without download some complicated emulator. And I found Vizzed! I then realized about 2 years later that there was actually a whole forum here as well! xD

I was searching for The House of The Dead 4 ROMs because I really wanted to play this one. That is when, at complete random, this website got my attention. I think because it said that you can play this game for some reason, but I found out that it has other HOTD games (That unfortunately don't work) and I went and registered for the site. 

Though I got into the forums because of the Vizzed currency, though it doesn't mean that I don't enjoy posting when I find the right thread.

I just happened to come across it one day while searching the internet for a interesting website. Though it was my brother that really informed me about the existence of vizzed. Initially, I didn't believe him.

I found Vizzed when I was looking for moar Mega Man games to play. I had Battle Network but it didn't satisfy me, and other emulators only had 1 or 2 games in the series. 

When I did find this site, though, it was a time of great celebration and vidya playing.

I found Vizzed through Google when I was trying to find emulators and ROMs. I didn't think that Vizzed was a very convincing website for their large retro game library at first but then I came back on Vizzed to register an account a couple of months later.

I was looking for a walk through on Pokémon Light Platinum because I was stuck and I found a walkthrough on here 

Y4123 : Did you know what you can play Light Platinum here on the site as well as a bunch of other Pokemon games? Including some that I don't think you ever even heard of?

zanderlex : no I didn't that's cool but I'm on a phone so emulator apps are really the best way to Pokémon right now for me

Y4123 : Ah ok, well if you are able to get on a laptop or something, then you can start playing hundreds of Pokemon games and all sorts of others games like Game Boy games, S/NES games, and even Playstaion games.

I just ended up finding the site when I wanted to play retro games. It was one of the only sites that I found that didn't have some kind of virus on it, which kept me coming back for more, but I eventually registered an account because I was sick of the daily limit on guests, and I don't regret doing so. It's definitely better than sites that slow your computer to a crawl, have no save options whatsoever, and cause your computer to bluescreen as soon as you try to leave. I still have vivid memories of those sites.

I just ended up on this site after trying to find a good retro gaming site for days.

Funny curiosity: I've been registered for over 4 years but never posted anything. I'm embarrassed.

I found the site when I saw my brother using it, who found it while looking for Pokémon games, I believe. I came here to play Metal Slug 2, but got sucked into the chatrooms because I migrated here from Kongregate, which was kinduh going downhill ever since they got more popular after being associated with GameStop. I was actually using my brothers account for a while to play games, but I signed up about 2 and a half years ago, I would guess. Been a major part of my life ever since.

During my earlier years in high school, just almost 6 years ago, I was in a Multimedia Design class.  We were consistently on computers, and we almost always had free time to play games, but due to administrator restrictions on the computers, I couldn't download and install emulators to my machine.  I really was into playing early Game Boy games at the time, so as I was searching around for a way to play them, I discovered Vizzed.  

As many of the other have, I found Vizzed due to my interest in emulators.

I had recently got into Fire Emblem. It was a series in my backlog and since I had beaten the last Tales of game I could get my hands on (at the time), I looked at my back log and the next game to play was Fire Emblem. I looked it up and to my surprise I discovered there were games for the Gameboy in the series. I had previously played emulated games on my phone through downloads of emulator apps and ROMs, but I had never tried to use emulators on my laptop. 

The thing was my laptop didn't have much space for emulators so I googled "online emulators" and surely enough I found Vizzed. Not only did Vizzed have what I was looking for but to my pleasant surprise Vizzed also had a hacked home brew section full of modded games (including Fire Emblem mods).

However, after I got done and bored of these mods I left for awhile. I came back due to my excitement for my  incoming shipment of the latest Fire Emblem. In wait I decided I would play other Fire Emblems and that's how I remembered this site.

I found Vizzed while searching for games. Been here ever since a couple years now i believe.

I found Vizzed when I wanted to play Pokémon Yellow, without the need of downloading an emulator. I was also very bored, since I was at my grandma's house at the moment and I just wanted to do something. This was probably around 2012 or 2013, where I played video games on emulators a lot.

Like almost everyone else on the list, I was looking for a certain game. I think I wanted an emulator for Pokemon Emerald or Pokemon FireRed... Can't remember what it was. I had recently lost my cartridges for both of those games on my GBA and I was looking for a shot of nostalgia, but I was trying to avoid something that was too fishy or reeked of illegality. Vizzed was the perfect match.

I found it by searching "hacked Pokémon games" in Google and this site was one of the first to show up. I'm so glad it did since I really love this site.

I found Vizzed when I accidentally typed Vizzed into the search bar but I was unaware that Vizzed led to the Pokemon roms I was interested in back then. A day or two later I was searching for Pokemon roms and the first thing that came up was Vizzed. It took about a week to find the Retro Game Room but I did find the forums.

I was looking for Paper Mario for 64 and despite being unsure about downloading the plugin - I gave it a shot, and I've been here since. 

I was just looking for pokemon roms to download which has started to become a pain thanks to Nintendo of America. and came across Vizzed. Thinking it'd be the best place to download I checked it out. Figuring out i couldn't(or assuming) I decided to just join and download the needed stuff and have fun here.. I seem to actually like it despite this being my second day here.

I was fourteen or fifteen when I suddenly got a urge to play Ocarina of Time, so I googled and there it was, Vizzed.

This was in 2011.

I decided to join the board a couple of days after playing various games on the RGR; the most funny thing about it was the fact I pretended to be Mexican because I dunno, social anxiety.

But it's been awesome sailing so far.
