Well, about three months ago I began the countdown for this moment, and here I am, at One Million words, the 5th user to reach this mark. Just the sound of one million words is insane, because that's a lot, that's basically just below 3000 full Microsoft word pages, and in a little over two years as well. That's basically doing 5 6 page English papers every single week, and I don't wont to do one a week in real life, so I have no idea how i manages to write so much.

I'm surprises I still managed to keep up a 61 word per post ratio too after all this time which is pretty cool also.

So it took just under 25 months to hit the 1st million or about 40K words per month, so hopefully I can pass 2 million before I hit 5 years here, which should be very doable.

What an impressive milestone to reach! You surely have typed a lot during these months, with all your reviews and such.

Averaging 40k words a month is a ton. I won't be able to average as much, not only for the "few" posts I make each month, but also for my first inactive year on here.

I'm on my way to reach this milestone too. Don't know how much will it take, it's still a long way ahead, but I'll give it my all.

EX Palen : Ooh yes, you have almost 250K words, so at your pace you'll get there in about 3 years. Those 40K words per day actually includes all my not as active months as well, like those months that I only average 10K words a month. There are some months where I average well over 50K words per month and there was one month, either January or April where I think I came really close to cracking 100K words for the month.

3 years? Is that a challenge I hear?

Well, you have your reviews and your own forum(s), while I have my guides and in a probably near future will also have a forum where I can post like crazy. I'm confident I can clearly make it before my fifth year mark on the site, which is still an impressive milestone.

100k words in a single month? Well, you hold the TdV record for 30k something in a day, last July I think, so it's perfectly possible you have been close to those numbers. I will come very close to that too when my big projects see the light starting next year.

Milestones exist to be surpassed.

Wow, I am surprised you have not reached that mark earlier. Whenever I see a user name that last posted in a forum it usually seems to be yours. Anyway congrats and keep it going!

Wow! A million words? That's really impressive. Nice job dude! One million words is longer than almost every book I've read!

An impressive achievement indeed. With the scary amount of activity you display each month, it was only a matter of time before reached a million words. With the rate you're posting, you'll probably reach 2 million in about 2 years or so. Give or take a few months. Hitting a million has been something I've wanted to hit for the longest time, but I haven't done so yet because of my fluctuating activity. 

I would really like to hit it sometime in the middle of next year. Nonetheless though, congratulations on one million. This feat is all the more incredible considering how quickly you managed to reach it. Well done. I look forward to seeing you maintain this level of activity in years to come.
