So, I've recently run into a problem and I'm interested to see what you all do in similar situations.

I've noticed that when you go on a slight posting spree, you tend to run out of places to post. It's not that there necessarily isn't a place for you to post, but more so that you don't want to post on something you know nothing about.

When this happens, I tend to take a break from Vizzed for about 30 minutes, come back and hope some new threads opened up. Sometimes I'll keep my eyes on a specific thread too, if I particularly am interested in the content and responses.

So I'm curious, what do you guys do while waiting for more places that you can talk on?

More like running out of places to post, what happens to me most of the times is that the threads I usually post in aren't very active and don't get any replies in days. So yeah, I only post every now and then, when it's strictly necessary.

Skilledtree : After having several days of putting out lots of posts, it does become very hard for anyone in that situation to find places to post, I can tell you that from personal experience. When this happens (in other words, now for me), I have to look around to see if there's one that I may have missed somewhere and post there.

You can try to be patient and wait for others to post threads. I think a good way to make lots of posts is to make a thread where people can talk about a topic that they can offer their advice or opinion or a topic that is popular in general. That may be a bit tough since TDV is up and about and the rules are very enforced. But hey, one of the reasons why TDV is up, is that Vizzed needs the activity to keep itself running.

Lately, I haven't had much of an issue with finding places to post. But when that happens I usually make my own threads or I go offline for a little while.

Most of the time, by making my own threads I gain 2-3 posts in one thread alone, since I reply to people when they post in my thread (but without excessively sandwich posting)

I feel with game reviews and the like, I never really run out of places to post but if I do, I will just try to find something that I'm interested in to create a thread about. If that doesn't start a conversation immediately, I just go in the RGR and play some games for an hour or two and come back. By that time there's usually furthered conversations that I can join in on.

I'm currently attempting to find more things to do with my time while looking for threads to post in.
It usually ends up being mundane tasks in different games. I played 5 games at once before because 4 of them have an auto function that I use to progress while not actively paying attention so I can effectively multitask.
Like right now as I'm typing this post, I'm still playing 2 different games to keep me fully occupied.
I'm currently attempting to find more things to do with my time while looking for threads to post in.

I pretty much get where every one's coming from here! As for the popular thing to do, make threads, I never have a good idea for a thread. I'm either too specific and get no replies, or it's simply not of interest. I'll figure it out eventually haha.

Having nothing more to say is usually why I suck so much at Tour de Vizzed. I do not watch that much TV or cinema, my video game knowledge is either limited or "forgotten" (games I have not played in a while) and I know nothing of Pokémon of animes.

An alternative solution to that is to create more threads. However this is mostly a gaming website, and most political subjects I would start will not get much attention. Oh well

Well I like when that happens why? When normally I am on a posting spree for non tdv months I get unstoppable. When that happens it forces my steam to aloft for the places I have posted in. So then I can build up my energy for the next spree. Having run out of places to post is not a bad thing. There are from time to time you need to rest if you don't do that, you'll end up over exerting yourself for no reason. That's my opinion on it. Some people may agree, some people may not. I have to agree with Geeo. IF you play a game for awhile there's usually another couple of posts where you can reply to certain topics. Also, being more open to the types of threads you respond in greatly increases the likelihood that you will find somewhere fun to post.

I normally have these occasions where I can't seem to find anywhere interesting to post, what I normally do is like Geeo, take a bit of time off (like a day) and then you'll expect a whole lot of threads being posted that will interest someone, and they end up posting onto there.

For me, I go to the board and go through the forums and Current News and Events as they have some interesting threads. I find there's always a few threats that are fairly new there. New Post sometimes confuses me as I have posted on some of those already.
