So, everyone's went for a spin on the internet at least once.. But some people might wonder, "What was the first thing that guy over there did on the internet?" Well, you bet that that's what this entire thread's about, what a surprise. I actually recall the first thing I did on the internet being exactly on December 28, 2012 was make a Youtube account, as that was pretty very super duper popular at the time I did it, especially when Gangam style came to orbit. So, basically, all you have to do is look at the title and post, if this thread doesn't get closed, what the first thing you probably did on the internet was.

It was kind of like a game where you race against the time to see how many you could get before the time was up. It's just crazy to me that someone else had the same first internet experience haha!

I didn't learn what YouTube was until I was 12 or 13 years old - I guess I was pretty late to the party. I remember being on AOL Instant messenger all the time, and playing games on addictinggames, cartoon network, and nick.

One of the very first things I did on the internet was play games on the Nickolodeon site. I can't quite remember the exact date, but I know for a fact that it was somewhere around 2005-2006. I mostly played silly fighting or puzzle games online when I was bored. My first memories of using a computer (not actually on the internet), I played educational phonics/learning games. The games I played ranged from Winnie the Pooh to Mickey. I think I could still find them somewhere in a CD case actually. 

It seems like that was a million years ago. Those were the simple days that I find to be extremely different from today's times....great memories nonetheless. I wish I could go back and relive those experiences.

Pretty much I did the same thing.

I played "Flash Games" As they are called on the Internet.

I did play games like the Spongebob ones, the catscratch ones, etc.

I did play a few on Cartoon network.com when I was first on the internet, but it wasn't anything I'd wanna remember.

I don't specifically remember since It's been a long time since I first used the "internet" I remember using BBS style servers hosted on peoples PC's in their own homes that you would dial into to play games and stuff...but I don't think that's what you mean.

I figure my first real "internet" experience was on AOL, in the chat rooms. Back then, you could actually get banned from your AOL account for using "inappropriate" language...imagine that lol

I would use AOL to use its instant messaging by chatting with my relatives. Then I also remember my little cousin introducing me to Runescape which I was very addicted to for around 6 years. I would play Runescape everyday after school and it would take most of my youngster years.

In the earliest days of my internet exploration, I took shelter on yahoo.com which also had games i would occasionally play. Within about 2 years i migrated to nickelodeon games, and then to Adventure Quest which was probably my first RPG game I've ever played and I don't regret it, otherwise I wouldn't be where i am today in the RPG community.

   I remember having a computer back in the early 90's, playing D&D games on 8 inch floppy disks. I still have a report on the Greek God Aeolus on a 3 1/2 inch diskette. (I'm old, and I like to keep old things. XD) Of course, no computer supports those nowadays.

   Man, I think the first time I used the Internet was probably in the mid or late 90's. I can't even tell you what I did though... Most likely games or looking up things on the World Wide Web (What it was called back then).

I was introduced to the Internet by my sister when I was around 6 or 8 years old. She's only two years older than me, and she was like almost every other girl in her age interested in horses, so she used to hang around on a website were you had your own stable and horses and such.

She made an account for me and, even though I barely used the account, I've been using the same username since then. I don't remember where she found the name, but after googling a bit, I found a horse with a similar name. There's also a Finnish brand of clothes called Catmandoo. But since it's not spelled the same way, and the site was horse related, I'm guessing it's after the horse.

I know exactly what I was doing. I was on lego.com looking at the Bionicle website and being amazed of how cool the sets looked at the time. I was definately around 2-3 years old and it wasn't long before I played my first ever game. Medal of Honor Allied Assault on my dad's PC. Good times.
