Skilledtree has gone from 9th place to 2nd place in just 4 days! Probably a TdV record.

I'm taking the day off today. So I most likely won't be passing him for post count personally. (I don't know if being mainstream for a week is a good thing, or a bad thing lol. I'm leaning good thing)

Skilledtree : That's pretty amazing, going from 9th to 2nd in only 4 days at this point in the competition. Congratz on that amazing feat!

Anyways, I'm glad I was able to grab 13 points yesterday! Some people are superstitious about 13, but I'm not.

I need to have a couple days over the next 2 weeks where I get more than 1 point in blue/yellow in order to secure my spot in the top 10.

Not sure if I'll have the energy or time for that though. Maybe tomorrow I'll try again to do well in one of those categories.

geeogree : That is usually how I am. Except for game reviews (which keep coming like crazy during Tour de Vizzed), I quickly run out of things to say, be it posts of threads.

janus : well, having places to post isn't usually a problem for me but having the desire to post comes and goes. I can easily post 100 times a day if I have the time to do so but I don't always feel like saying something. That is something that I think that annoys me sometimes about the TdV. People force themselves to post whether they want to or not. That bugs me. It's like they wait for 2 months to post between TdV's. I don't like that. I post when I feel like it not when there is a competition to win.

geeogree : I admit posting mostly during Tour de Vizzed BUT not in a spammy way. When I run out of place to post I stop rather than just boost my counts.

I don't mind when people do that as long as they don't try and post 100 times a day when everyone else is posting 10.

My posting habits don't change all that much between TdV and non-TdV months. Sure, I post more during the TdV because the board overall is more active. However, there have been plenty of months where I took the TdV off from posting because it was so busy without me and tried to post extra during the off months to balance it out.

I didn't expect to take the day off today but on order to make room for the stuff I got at comic con, I had to go and sell my old books at strand, and then I went to a bunch of other places and didn't get back home until after 10 PM and barely had any internet so there wasn't much that I could do. Hopefully I can pull together a few points in blue and yellow today and then get back on track.

Well, there goes my streak of 10 or more points each day this TDV. I was kinda drowsy for most of the night, and also the RGR pages were running slow for me, so I wasn't able to do as much as I wanted to. Hopefully things will go better for me tomorrow.

Skilledtree : I'm pretty sure I can't post Pokemon Mystery Dungeon threads until much later today, but I'll see if I can get it up.

Things are getting really intense for Blue, if I hadn't taken Sunday off and just made like 3 extra posts I could have had the lead, but having a full on tie after almost half the month is pretty cool, but I need to turn on the gas from here on.

Damn, I always get surprised when I get a blue jersey. I can not believe I have so much to say, especially after so little time NOT posting! Yellow (and, sometimes by extension, red) always "seem" easier because of my guides / reviews. More amazing: I have THREE green points!

Too bad that I got off to a slow start this month due to being out of town on vacation, otherwise I would probably at least be in the top 10 for the month. Hopefully I can keep hanging around and hopefully wind up in the top 10 at the end of the month.
