zanderlex : Yeah, I've only had less than 8 points once this TDV, so looking at it that way, I should have no problem doing it. Still, I'd like to get as many points as I can to make the record harder for people to break in the future.

SWTerra got me scared for a moment! He nearly passed me with words yesterday (I had less than a 400 word lead). It looks like he now has a hang of Tour de Vizzed, so we will need to watch out come January!

I was hoping to be able to come away with one of the jerseys yesterday as I was AGAIN close to several of the categories. Although sadly, I fell just a little bit short. I've got a good start on today so far, so hopefully I am a little more successful in that endeavor.

Today's Double CP Action is Game Streaming.



A close race between 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. Only 3 points separate 3rd place and 6th place.

Yeah, I noticed just how close the margin between 3rd 4th 5th and 6th. I have a feeling with zander, Ferdinand and Yuna all putting up good points lately, that David might fall out of the top 5.

I cut it really close in blue yesterday. I'm just glad I was able to hold off Jordan and get my 52nd jersey, passing pacman1775 for 8th in total jerseys.

janus : You'll have an easy time today since I've been stuck most of today trying to work on an essay, but I'll have one day where I'll win that word jersey, at least, if I finish this one game review I'm making before TdV finishes! >

gamerforlifeforever2 : How the hell did you get ahead of me by only 8 words? That's like 1/3 of my everyday post!

On a side note, I'm just two points away from geeo for 10th. I don't think I will place again, since I don't have any projects to make me rank high on Red or Yellow, and we all know Blue is a lost cause. SWTerra, however, seems to be scoring on a regular basis and has enough motivation to keep going, and he's only 12 points away from his twin.

EX Palen : Honestly, the fact that Jordan closed the gap on me in blue with about 10 minutes to go was how I got past you. If he hadn't pushed me to post more, you would've got 4th in yellow yesterday.

Guess I better comment here. Falling behind. Look out, I'm not dead yet by golly.

Ferdinand : Whoever said you were You are always dominant for red and green, whereas I usually get decent points for blue and dominate yellow. Looks like I will earn the yellow banner!

And except for red (and, to a lesser extent, yellow) the race is indeed very tight for even the highest spot! As for the overall race, yes it IS highly competitive. But depending on how busy I get I might not be able to hold on to 2nd place.

Wow, I was not able to do good today. I started off with 30 posts in a good time frame, but then I ended up going to Kmart to buy sneakers and going out with a friend for Japanese food which took up about 5 hours. There's still about 3 hours left so hopefully I can do some damage.

I'm thinking at this point that it's wishful thinking that I could finish this month at #7th overall in points for the month. I think I might be a few too many points behind. Still like 10 days left in the month though. If I can keep up my recent activity, I should be able to at least make it interesting!

Jordanv78 : SkilledTree hasn't actually participated in like a week or maybe even more, so unless he randomly comes back, you would only need to score 5 points per day in total from now on to easily pass him.

janus : I'm allergic to seafood for the most part so I should be fine, which means I can try for my normal 50 posts a day from now on.

Well, once again, things are coming down to the wire, and I'm having to fight my way to earn those points I want. I'm looking forward to this month being over lol! I need time to relax and play video games.

Thought I had 2nd place in red locked up until someone featured Gamer's review in the last minutes. Oh well. Next time I need a 100 point cushion going into the last minute I guess.

zanderlex : Maybe he'll come back and once articles get double CP again. Then again, maybe he's done for good. That wouldn't be good for me in the Team Competition.

I did not see myself winning the blue jersey at all when I started posting late last night. I started posting when the railroad went above ground a few minutes before I got home and that was about 3 hours before the day ended and I was about 20 posts back. I'm surprises I was able to make that many posts in that time that were pretty good. Hopefully I still have enough left in the tank to get a good amount today because normally when I go all put like that, I need to take a day off before I can do that again.

Also, it looks like I might be able to crack 150 points in a couple days, and hopefully I can claim 3rd.

Ferdinand : Oh, gamerforlifeforever2 said he featured his own review (it's one for Frogger). That's probably how he "jumped" over some people ( XD sorry for the bad pun) and nearly took Jordanv78 down, too. ^^0 Although... Is it normal/are people allowed to feature their own reviews? Gamer featured his review mere minutes before the end of a TDV day, however, for some reason, I remember Davideo7 had stopped zanderlex from featuring his own reviews in the last TDV, so I thought there might've been some rule against it (although I don't know the details). It seems that back then, there had been some type of agreement that reviews should only be featured by the review managers themselves to ensure that the quality of the reviews would always meet a certain standard. Since I'm not sure we can discuss things like this outside of a certain thread, I won't try to discuss that here. I just wanted to mention that at this rate, even if you did have a 100 CP buffer, someone could still just feature 2 (or more) of their own reviews at the end of the day and then we'll get a repeat of what happened yesterday. Perhaps we need to discuss this more thoroughly elsewhere?
