Another TdV with no new features but I'll be sure to get new features added for next season which will be the 4 year anniversary of this seasonal competition.



Here's some brief TdV info:

Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Most CP in a day
Green Jersey: Most CP actions in a day

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)

Tour de Vizzed Rules:

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Video Game Craziness, Newbie Forum (unless posts are made in your own thread then it's 50%)
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-You're caught cheating or unfairly earning Contribution Points
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in the same thread (your own thread and staff threads are an exception)
-If 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day
-Staff members are not allowed to feature their own reviews during the Tour de Vizzed

Additionally:
If you get DQ'd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month. We will be very strict from now on with the Tour de Vizzed. Only CP actions which you earned CP off of count toward the Green Jersey.

If you get DQ'd from too many Jerseys in too many TdV competitions, you'll be DQ'd from the TdV forever. Also, if you get DQ'd from a single Jersey in too many competitions, you'll be DQ'd from that specific Jersey forever.

Also, if 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day, you'll be DQ'd from the Yellow Jersey. Too many users have waited until the end of the day to submit a bunch of reviews to the site and that's unfair to users competing.



Additional Tour de Vizzed Info:

Some CP actions only count as 1 per day. In other words, any action in the below list can only increase your Green Jersey points by 1:
Forum Navigation, Review Rated, User Referral Posted, Video Rated, Post Spell Checked, Visiting Vizzed, Screenshot Rated, Post, Game Commenting, Thread, Thread Reply, Chat Room Minute, Staff Forum Post, Staff Forum Thread and Screenshot Details Added.

These CP actions do not count toward the Green Jersey: Game Content.

Each day there will be a specific CP action which will be worth doubled the points which benefits the Red Jersey competition. Below is a list of which actions are worth doubled on which days this month:

Let the games begin!

This is going to be a long and tiring month she I mix this with school. My main goal is to walk out with the most TDV overall points, but I might finish around 50 points behind David and need to wait until next time. Good luck everyone.

Ah Fall, my favorite season! The cooler temperatures, the leaves changing colors, and of course, FOOTBALL'S BACK! Anyways, I'm hoping that I can win this time, or at the very least win an overall jersey. I'd like to say good luck to everyone.

Aaaand here we go!

I wonder how the competition will unfold the first couple of days. Depending on the activity levels, I may consider participating actively to earn that top 10 position I desire. I just hope I don't slack off too much on university so I can effectively manage my free time.

I guess I'll enter, never have done one but sure. My goal is the green or red jersey since its easier to fight them (in past TDV games as I seen). The only thing I worry is the hurricane if it hits me then I will lose points until I can recover or worst I might not even have a chance to recover  . Well I hope everyone has a good time and stay safe from the hurricane wherever it might land.

mastergame : That's a complete lie, the red and free jerseys are probably the hardest to go for now. We're not even half way done with the day and look at who is in the top 2 for the green jersey. Before you can even consider going for that jersey, you need to ask yourself if you are even capable of doing that many actions in one day. You're going to go up against people who submit like 300 screenshots in a day or submit 2 to 3 reviews in a day.

Davideo7 : There's a problem with the TDV Hall of fame page. At the bottom, it lists the Summer 2015 TDV twice and the 2nd copy shows the strangest of results, like tRIUNE and Yuna1000 both winning the rainbow jersey. That just appeared over the last couple of days.

This clone copies the jersey winners of 2014 Autumn but gives random names for the banner winners and top 10 overall leaders.

zanderlex : I can do that too and don't forget the double cp event as well. theres many games I played that have yet to receive a walkthrough so I'm in no hurry to quick play a game and make the walkthrough. Reviews are something I'm not that good mostly because expressing my feeling to the game is hard for me and I don't have time to see what it makes it better (I have a life too).

mastergame : Yeah, so you would probably be better off going for Blue and Yellow. Red and green will take a lot out of you if you aren't already planning on putting up a ton of hours a day towards them.

If you can do it, then go for it, but even in giving up on green because it can be too much after a while.

My plans are to walk away from this season with another overall jersey win. Ultimate goal is to win every single overall jersey throughout my TdV career and since I've won Red already in the past, I'll be trying to win Blue, Yellow and/or Green.

zanderlex : Thanks for letting me know. Fixed.

I'm going to be looking forward to this. I know that I pretty much have no chance winning this, if the last contest was any indication, but I'll be looking to try to get a few top five finishes at least, and maybe push for a first place, if the opportunity presents itself. But apart from that, I'm just going to have a bit of fun taking part, but good luck to everyone else that will be taking part.

Honestly, I'd like to win either the yellow, blue, or red overall jersey. I'm not too concerned about green at this point since character editing is still ridiculously overpowered. I wish something would be done about that, maybe by lowering the character editing actions per day by half?

zanderlex : Yeah, focus on "important" things! Considering your many misadventures in The past semester, you need to focus on studying. I really got distracted in college and failed many classes for utter negligence on my behalf.

As for The overall competition: I will surely win a few jerseys, but I don't think I can win any banners. Walthroughs take too long to write (one a month is enough), I am running out of games to review and video editing is a hassle.

janus : In the end, I did get a 4.0 GPA, so I must have been doing something right, and this semester started off pretty easy, which gives me about 7 hours a day to be on.

I made a layout for the TdV again! This month is going to be pretty busy for me. So far it seems that I won't be able to participate much this month, but I'm hoping to compete a few times on the weekends.

This stinks for me because I was hoping to make a surprise run for the rainbow banner for a day But since I didn't make a bunch of reviews it wouldn't be doable at this point. Maybe I'll do it next time. Next time is during winter break at the beginning of the month so I might have more of a chance then.

PacmanandMariofan : The rainbow banner is only possible if you post daily, and if you have A LOT to say. I did earn 15 of them during my first serious Tour, but I quickly ran out of reviews.

After not doing much last TdV, I'm planning on walking out with at least one of each jersey I haven't gotten yet X3 (all of them except for blue). Maybe I'll just randomly get the rainbow for no reason :v. Probably not.
