Is anybody else participating here?

I got like 5 Bronze trophies this week. I say "like" because I think I did attain some more that don't show on psnprofiles for some weird reason, even though I just updated it. If there's anyone with me aboard this quest, I'll confirm again later.

EX Palen : I've had that happen to me and i found these solutions:

PS4: Simply go to "Trophies" and it automatically updates or choose "Sync With Server"
PS3: Make sure your trophy list is in "Online Mode" and click on your trophy list


After doing either of these, update your profile on PSNProfiles and they should pop up, if not I really dont know.

Eirinn : I finally got 12 Bronze trophies. Not bad when I'm not even aiming for them. Also, does the Platinum trophy "Turn on your PS4 in the first try" count?

Letting you guys know I finally got last quarter's results posted. I'll get to work on catching up on last month's results tomorrow, but no promises on how many days it'll be before I post them. Well, I didn't place that bad, specially considering I never tackled a game from the beginning.

Things should change a bit for the better now. Any PS4 game I get will have to be completed from scratch. Not gonna be easy, even less when I don't have a ton of free time, but where's the fun if you don't try?

I will probably be a bit absent this week and the next one, as I'm tackling exams, but I still have a bit of free time that can neat me a couple trophies. Hopefully I'll be able to tackle the big trophies starting on the week of the 25th, when I start university break after my finals.

OK, I just wanted to make sure, how does the trophy count translate into how many points we have again? I can't seem to put these together.

Count me in for this quarter. The results were definitely closer than I expected. Catching up on a few Platinums right now so the next couple months will be interesting...

I guess I will keep participating, but I don't expect to do very well this time around lol

Eirinn : Awesome, I forgot that there were prices in this but thank you! Count me in for the next quarter even though i may not do so well since i been addicted to a couple games i got most of the trophies for x3

zanderlex : The points for the trophies you earn are counted toward your "Trophy Points" position at the end of each month. The weekly trophy points don't serve any purpose other than to see who earned the most points (for fun). So simply put, total trophy points are tallied once a month to see who had the most. So if you had 100 trophy points at the end of the month and I had 90, you would win first for that month which is worth 10 points in the quarter's final results, and I would take second place and earn 8 points in the final standings.
That's how the trophy points specifically translate into final standings. The points for each category are translated similarly.

EX Palen : Yeah, you placed pretty well seeing as how you couldn't actively compete. I'm wondering how well you'll do now. Lol Should be interesting.

Kruzer : You don't need any more platinums! xD You're killing me with those things!

MattyIce : Maybe I'll be able to keep up with you this time then.

TristanTehGamer1 : You forgot?? Rats! I shouldn't have said anything and saved the money! Lol I'll try to get you a PM with details here pretty shortly btw.


Also this quarter we'll be trying out the new category I proposed a while back since no one had any objections. We'll see how that goes and decide if we should keep it.

I would recommend putting everyone's usernames in the first post, for easier access, when I do this results thing. It's not easy to find the usernames otherwise, and I had to find an old post of mine.

I got an award! Wait, what do you mean it's not a good award?

Man, how do you people have access to that many games? I've never owned that many even if I counted all games I've obtained since first getting my GameCube. It's a miracle I'm even placing when I'm so far behind in game count.

Also, I freaking love how my profile looks. I would say something about being the only one without the US flag, but I'm not proud about such flag. 

There's a big chance I might get that award again, considering I only have one game right now, and will probably get no more than two before Summer. After that, I'm entirely dependant on newly released games, so I will fall even more behind in game count. As it stands, I'm not that away from top 5, but even then, I don't think I'll be able to leap any further.

EX Palen : Well most of mine are free PS+ games, so yeah. Lol I get between two and six a month usually. I haven't actually bought a PS4 game for myself since last July I think. And when I do buy I get them used. GameXchange is good for a poor boy gamer. xD

legacyme3 : I've been thinking about adding them into the opening post so I didn't have to dig up your old post each time. How often do you plan to update? Quarterly, or just whenever? I'll go ahead and edit them in sometime before you're ready for them.

Eirinn :

I can update basically whenever you do your update, I figure that way there will be less confusion for everyone, even though I'm going to continue to stress there is no reward for my rankings.

EX Palen :

Like Eirinn, a lot of games I get are PS+ freebies.

I also have a lot of disposable income lately that I've used to pick up like twenty new games for my PS4, including Final Fantasy Type-0 and Tales of Zestiria.
