If you r a soccer fan, what is your favorite player and what team is he from. In my country, soccer is like the country sport so everyone loves soccer.
My favorite soccer team is Real Madrid and My favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo.
So what's yours?

haitamchouiekh : My favorite soccer team right now is Barcelona and my favorite player is Lionel Messi. Though I say my favorite team is Barcelona, I don't mind watching any team really lol.

I'm not actually that much of a soccer fan, but if I have to side with one, obviously it has to be FC Barcelona, for being my city's team.

About favorite player, I have to say Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He's way behind Messi and Ronaldo in technique, no one discusses that, but the way he acts outside of the playing fields has earned my love and respect.

As I live in Malmö, I'd have to say Malmö FF. I'm excited as they've been able to reach the Champions League 2 years in a row now (reaching it even once is pretty unheard of nowadays for swedish teams).

Now for favorite player. I'd definietly have to say Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He's from Malmö, so I'm pretty sure I'd have to revoke my citizenship if I said anything else. He is an incredible guy both on and off the pitch. I mean just look at some of the goals he's scored (bicycle kick anyone?) he is in my opinion much more entertaining to watch than someone like Messi or Ronaldo.

And since Paris is facing Malmö in the Champions League group stage, he even rented a whole plaza and will be displaying the match just so everyone can see it (since the tickets pretty much sold out as soon as they were released). Something I'll definietly be going to myself. Honestly considering how he's been hyping it up I wouldn't be suprised if he ended up coming out there himself

I've also taken a liking to Markus Rosenberg, probably not very well known outside of Sweden, but he's the team captain of Malmö FF and pretty much lead the team to the Champions League, he's its heart. He's become an amazing player since coming back to the city (even if he isn't at Ibrahimovic level) which is funny since he's been doing fairly poorly internationally, but it's like he's changed ever since he came back.

Well hearing from you all gives me an opportunity to hear about different players that I have not heard of before. So in a way I'm glad.

I dint really have a favorite player because I pay attention to the matches and teams instead of the players but my favorite team is probably Manchester United.

Sure, I could like a team that's from my own country, like one of the 3 teams that I follow from my city, but for a while I was a shareholder of M.U. So I grew to like them a lot because of that.

Zlinqx : You don't realize how happy I was to see Malmo beat Celtic. It was hilarious to watch as the pundits here thought Celtic would go through lol.

I live in Dundee and support both Dundee FC and Dundee United which isn't unusual over here as the rivalry is rather friendly. Dundee wear dark blue shirts and white shorts and are called the Dees while United wear Tangerine shirts and black shorts and their nickname is the terrors or the arabs (fan nickname).

Dundee so far have done great this season and are currently 6th (they are 12 teams in the top league here) Favorite player from Dundee is between Greg Stewart (striker) and Scott Bain (goalkeeper). stewart is fantastic at taking on players and is easily Dundee's best striker currently. unfortunately he may be sold during the transfer market in January. Scott Bain is Dundee's main Goalkeeper and is is easily one of the best keepers in the league just now. He has decent reflexes and is able to command his territory. the only issue I have with him is that at times he will try to punt the ball over towards a player that is marked instead of playing it short to a player that is free which has one of two outcomes. 1 it goes out for a throw in or it goes to the other team. Never has he been able to punt it (except for goalkicks) far into the oppositions territory and land to one of the Dundee players.

Dundee United so far this season have been shocking to say the least. they are bottom of the league and are supposedly one of the biggest clubs in Scotland (isn't saying much considering Scotland has a population of 5 million) but the best player (and my favorite) has to be their goalkeeper Luis Zwick (goalkeeper) which says a lot about United's defense this season. He has kept United from leaking 4 or 5 goals every match but despite that he has let in quite a few which again isn't his fault when he has to deal with a poor defense that are incapable of getting the ball off teams. I am quite concerned about them but I don't think they will get relegated this year as they are worse teams funnily enough.

Tonight I am watching Scotland vs Poland so COME ON THE TARTAN ARMY!!!!!

DylanMcKaig : I felt the same especially considering how cocky they seemed about it I mean pretty much nobody here was doubting we'd go through after such a narrow loss because the team is on a whole new level when playing at home, it was even more satisfying considering how Griffith kneed one of our players in the crotch (still can't believe the referee didn't notice that by the way, should've been an instant red card).

I'm a OLDHAM ATHLETIC fan. Oldham is a small town about 10 miles to the north east of Manchester. They currently play in the english football league 1 which is the 3rd tier of the english professional football league.

I support Sheffield Wednesday (also known as 'The Owls'), they are my local team and I grew up following them. They're currently in the English Championship in 8th place, with only 1 point of the playoff places, so here's hoping that we will get promoted this season!
My favourite player is Eden Hazard. He is an absolute handful for any defence he comes up against and he's certainly one of the best midfielders in the world right now and was crucial to Chelsea's EPL win. He's off form a bit right now but he will be back.

I rarely watch soccer, but I'd have to say the Columbus Crew is my favorite soccer team because they're the only pro soccer team in Ohio. As far as a favorite player goes, I honestly don't know.

My three most favorite teams are Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, and FC Barcelona, and my favorite player is the defender David Luiz. The clubs are honestly the best in my opinion and I follow them (and their respective leagues) super closely. And while David Luiz isn't a superstar defender, his on and off the pitch actions, especially his positive and funny attitude, really is awesome.

By the way, just because I'm an Arsenal fan doesn't mean I don't want Leicester City to win the BPL. I really want the underdogs to win. But can we please get higher than 4th...?

I support Arsenal F.C. since long time. I'm also getting more fond of the England team considering they're doing well, usually I mock them but after last night I'm holding some respect for them which is nice.
I also somewhat to an extent support my local team, ******* F.C. which aren't far from down the road from me anyway so very local.
Fun fact: that match last night, I played Cammy's song within seconds before we scored our final goal, and left the song playing and it fit the scene so well. It was also the first time I have watched a match since the 2014 World Cup Final...

I have 3 teams, although I love one the most.

My teams are Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, and AZ (A dutch club in the eredivisie).

I have supported manchester united ever since I start loving football, and that is the club I love the most,  I just recently started supporting atletico madrid, and I support AZ because i'm from there.

As for my favourite player,  tbh i don't think I have one.

If it is all time, I would say Cruyff, or ronaldinho, currently I don't know, maybe griezmann, De gea, I honestly don't know.
