With the 2016 Presidential Election right around the corner, ISideWith.com has added a section that tells you which candidates you side with most in addition to just what party.

You can take the quiz here and post your results below! Make sure to click view all candidates or it will just show you the most popular ones. While this quiz is aimed towards Americans and focuses on American issues feel free to take it and post your results even if you don't live in the United States.

My results:

Ted Cruz - 92%
Rand Paul - 92%
Rick Santorum - 92%
Marco Rubio - 91%
Rick Perry - 89%
Ben Carson - 89%
Scott Walker - 85%
Mike Huckabee - 83%
Donald Trump - 79%
Carly Fiorina - 78%
Jeb Bush - 76%
Bobby Jindal - 75%
Lindsey Graham - 74%
Chris Christie - 60%
John Kasich - 56%
Hillary Clinton - 12%
Bernie Sanders - 7%
Martin O'Malley - 3%

I think that is pretty darn accurate based on how much I agreed or disagreed with each of the Republican candidates during the debate.

tgags123 : That's cuz democrats r right.

lololololol

Yeah, I didn't have any of those 3% or anything as low as that.

But this has nothing to do with if I think they'd be a good president or not. (Hillary)

Barathemos : Let's agree to disagree lol.

That is entirely true. Just because someone has good principles doesn't make them a good leader. I don't necessarily agree with Donald Trump on everything (as shown by the quiz) and as far as their principles and ideas go I think there are better candidates out there, but I think Trump would make a good president because he won't back down to other countries and he'll say what needs to be said without caring if he offends someone.

tgags123 : um

what

trump doesn't know how to run a country.

He's a business man.

All he knows about is money. What makes you think he'd know how to run a country?

Barathemos : Reagan was an actor. He ran the country better than 80% of the other presidents we've had.

Sometimes the best presidents are people that have never been in politics. To a senator or a governor being president is a job, and it's a promotion from your current job. For someone that isn't a politician it isn't a job, it's an opportunity to help your country.

The thing I like about Trump is that he doesn't care about feelings, he does what he needs to do and says what he needs to say. And right now, with ISIS and all this other crap going on, a person like that is exactly what we need.

That being said I'd still rather have Ted Cruz or Rand Paul as president.

tgags123 : However, Reagan was the Governor of California before he was president, so he did have a political background.

Thing thing about Trump is that he's crazy...

Do you really want to make ISIS even more mad than they already are?

Trump just isn't at all what we need as a president, he has never held any political position and all he knows about politics is from being a business man, which isn't much.

Trump isn't a politician. He may have views on issues, but he's not someone who is really a politician.

He's not someone who should run a country.

Barathemos : When it comes to ISIS the only way to defeat them is to be aggressive. You can't be passive like Obama is and a lot of the candidates are. If they kidnap a soldier or something you don't trade 4 prisoners for him, you say give him back or we're going to bomb you. And that's something Trump would say. Other countries think we are a joke because of how weak Obama is. He won't even associate ISIS with Islam because he doesn't want to offend anyone. Give me a break. Trump isn't afraid to say and do what needs to be done, regardless of how many people he offends. To sum it all up really, Trump has balls and most of the candidates don't.

Now I'll say it again, I think some of the other Republican candidates would do a better job than Trump, but I do think Trump would be a good President.

tgags123 : So you want to get more aggressive with ISIS? That would only cause ISIS to get more aggressive with us, and that is not at all what we want. If other countries think we are a joke, why don't they tell us and get the hell bombed out of them

Being aggressive with these situations isn't the way to go. We were able to do that with al qaeda because there just weren't as many of them. The state of ISIS is huge and scattered around.

I didn't say I agree with everything Obama has done, as I don't, but I think that he's made some good decisions with ISIS. As I said, Trump wouldn't know how to handle that. If you say give us our guy back or we'll bomb you, they'll just kill him and just  take a bomb.

That's how those terror groups are, they'll just kill their own members to get to someone else. They'll just keep taking more of our people and killing them, they honestly just don't care.

If you want to get all aggressive and bomb the heck out of them, then you do that, but that's not thinking about the consequences.

All of them would do a better job than Trump.

if we look at Trump history he has visited almost every country and he won't spend taxpayers money on trips like obama did (kinda useless
trips you know), do you want another president to waste american's money?

dont know if this one is real

on the topic of isis i dont think we can make them even madder, they have posted messages on twitter, facebook, and youtube but cant stop them from having "lorn wolfs" killing people right to left. if we vote for a president that follows a tea party for the sake of getting control over the usa bills then american people will keep on dieing until they die.

Hillary Clinton       81% (economic, foreign policy, social, immigration, and education)
Bernie Sanders    81% (economic, social, environmental, immigration, healthcare, and educational)
Martin O'Malley    65% (domestic policy, immigration, social)
Jeb Bush               57% (immigration)
Mike Huckabee    53% (foreign policy)
Bobby Jindal         41% (no major issues)
Lindsey Graham  41% (foreign policy)
Marco Rubio         41% (foreign policy)
Chris Christie       39% (foreign policy, environment)
Scott Walker         39% (no major issues)
Rick Santorum     37% (no major issues)
Rand Paul            36% (foreign policy, immigration, healthcare)
Carly Fiorina        34% (no major issues)
Johnny Kasich     31% (no major issues)
Rick Perry             30% (healthcare)
Donald Trump      28% (no major issues)
Ted Cruz               27% (no major issues)
Ben Carson          19% (no major issues)

It appears as that I'm a Democrat. Hm. I think my dad would not approve. XD

I really don't know most of these candidates, I really don't get into politics. I do, however think Trump would be terrible, and I'm not surprised to see my quiz results agree. He fires people, not for incompetence, but because they sometimes disagree with him. That one guy who was working with him since the 80's, (Stone, I think... I read some article... Somewhere... XD) up and quit. He's a smart guy, and a great businessman, but he's not President material. I don't care much for politics (as I've said, multiple times. XD), but I really don't want the United States to turn into a Reality T.V. show... Which it would, if Trump wins...

I don't need to take a test to know who I side with. There's no way I'm voting for any of the republican candidates. So for now it's a toss up between Clinton and Sanders. I like certain things about what both of them have to say, but I'm still waiting to make the ultimate decision before I vote in the primary.

If you made me choose now, I would probably put my vote with Sanders.

Jordanv78 :

Normally, I'd agree, but there's a huge issue at stake for me, in the upcoming election.

Obama f***ed up the healthcare system, and as it stands, I'm getting fined for not being able to pay for it. And I'm getting fined more next year, if I still can't afford it.

And no, I'm apparently not exempt either. I'm in the large percentage of people Obama f***ed over.

If not for the healthcare issue, I'd agree, but Clinton and Sanders both seem to want to continue Obamacare in some shape or form, whereas the conservatives (although they'd ruin other things about the country) are willing to change the thing I NEED to be changed.

legacyme3 : Something tells me there's something you are missing, because you should be able to get health insurance for cheaper than the penalty that you are paying. Especially if you are without work right now and over the age of 21.

I would stop short of saying that Obamacare messed up the health care system. The affordable care act did many good things, like provide cheaper access to health insurance for people that did not have access to it otherwise as well as eliminate caps for coverage for people with severe health issues and eliminates the ability of Insurance carriers to deny coverage to people with these severe health issues.

Having had my uncle who was a small business owner battle cancer for over 4 years and recently pass, I saw the benefits first hand. Is the bill perfect? No, but it's a good start to get people in this country health insurance, which is a huge issue in this country considering how far we lag behind a lot of developed countries in this matter.

Although this thread really isn't the place to debate this type of thing, I do not have faith in the Republican candidates that are currently running, to provide any sort of benefit to the the people in this regard.

Jordanv78 :

I should be able to, yes, but I can't.

I talked to the people I needed to talk to. I went through healthcare.gov. I did all the things I was supposed to do.

I'm not being stupid or missing something. This system is awful, that's the problem, end of the line.

As it stands, I have to move CLEAR ACROSS THE COUNTRY to even qualify for some sort of medical aid, on any level. It won't eliminate my penalty entirely, since it's holding up my grandmother's income tax returns (long story short, they are holding up my grandmother's income tax return because I couldn't afford healthcare, as I am a dependent of hers), and as such, we've been hit with more financial burden than is necessary.

I don't have faith in the republican candidates, but I also don't have faith in the democratic candidates. It's a total vote of no confidence. I will probably end up voting republican in the coming election, even though I supposedly side with Sanders the most, simply because of the healthcare issue.

If any candidate has the means to get rid of Obamacare, and pledges to do so, I throw 100% of my support behind it. Never has something adversely affected my ability to live day to day as Obamacare. And not for the better either. I am legitimately struggling BECAUSE of Obamacare. I'm getting by in spite of it.

Jordanv78 : I don't need a test to tell me who I side with either, it's just fun to take the test and see how your opinions compare to the candidates.

A user of this : Lol nice pic xD

Your results are strange. You have Hillary and Sanders kind of in the middle of a sea of republican candidates. Usually the three democrats are all grouped together at the top or bottom, so that's pretty interesting.
