Hey there everyone...not sure if all of you or some of you may look at this thread at all; however, it's been bugging me since a couple days back and I just felt...it needed to be shared with you all...my friends. Most of you probably aren't aware but I've always been plagued by various health issues (epilepsy/seizures/dislocating knee caps/bad immune system in general (can have 7 bloody noses in span of 3-4 days)/and tumor's that have grown on my back.

I know a long while back during the end of 2014 to the beginning of this year I was told I may have a 3rd back tumor forming once more, though it was the mere size of a sock at the time; although, we still kept throughout the months it continued to grow larger and larger at one point becoming the size of my hand or two of them. Unfortunately, thanks to the wonderful medical field here in Missouri no place I went to said they could do anything as it wasn't "malignant" yet and would be hazardous to take it out. Everything was fine up until like mid-July....since then I've had issues sleeping or sitting properly. (having to have a blanket on top my pillow/the backrest of a chair being painful) Just today we took another look and apparently it's grown LARGER than both of my hands put together and is more so like or close to the size of my pillow, (which is around 2ft long and 1ft wide) and is even giving me difficulties when I go upon my usual walk each night as well as doing my work on here (especially testing) so....I'm hoping I may still do my work on here but who knows...may have to set it aside. We are looking to make an appt to have it checked out; although, sadly the only openings are in September and who bloody knows if that may change and be moved further down.

I'm really hoping nothing may happen as I don't wanna have to leave this site, and I'll do my best to hold out till that appt in September. (would hate to have to leave such a good community) Also just felt I should post this in case any of you may wonder why I'm not really as active/online as of late. But that's basically what's been going on, hope this doesn't worry to many of you and I'll definitely strive for the best outcome. No matter which way this route may go though, I'm just happy for the time I've had on the site and the time I hope to continue having on the site. Really wishing that this'll be the last time I go through this, as I'm tired of having to worry others around me with it or just dealing with it in general.

Not sure if this is posted in the right place, whether it should be here in this forum (post about self) or in the health section? Either way, as long as it gets put in the right place (apologize if it's wrong) tis all that matters. Hope y'all won't miss or worry about this hedgehog user too much while in this predicament...and hopefully when the time comes I'll be able to let you all know how things turn out for the best. I didn't even know you had health problems. Wow, this is a huge shocker for me.

Take it easy and do things you like to do (like playing games) so that you can forget the pain, even for just a moment. Worrying doesn't help at all, try to be happy instead. You always think about others first than yourself and I really appreciate that but this time, like Eirinn said, think about yourself first. Your own condition is really important.

I hope and pray for the best. We all are here for you.

Sorry to hear that, Sonic. I really hope they can find a solution to getting rid of that when your appointment comes around. Until then; take it easy ok bro? We all care about you a lot. I'll be praying for you.

I know how troublesome is to have a bad immune system, so I can have a glimpse of how you're doing right now.

It sucks to hear news like these. Just today, when the sun was shining bright, I feel like the sky suddenly became dark and cloudy.

That's a really tough situation, and it sounds very painful. I'll be praying that you can hold out on taking a break from vizzed until your September appointment. I've seen how much you love this site and your jobs on the site.

Just want to let you know this wasn't ignored. I ask Yahova for the best for you. My mom made it through cancer and beat it, through natural eating actually, but that's another long story.

Wow, I'm so very sorry your going through all this. Like everyone has said here stay postive and think about yourself and get better. I know we haven't talked much while you been here on the site but I do wish you well and I would hate to see you go. Good Luck and stay strong!

Dang, sorry to hear about this. I hope that appt in September will be of help, and until then take it easy and if you feel bad, don't worry, we can wait for your reviews, and we don't want you to write them while your condition isn't good.

But seriously, until you have an idea of what's going on with the tumour, just try and rest up and keep comfortable and happy, alright?

tRIUNE : I just wasn't sure and I was originally going to summon you but forgot with everything going on...my bad. I'm sorry, didn't mean to make you feel down either and I hope I can pull through as well; (since I've had it when I was in 3rd grade before and it was fine) however, the only thing I'm worried about...is how it may affect my scoliosis since both are back problems and not sure if when doing the operation it'll cause any complications?

The main reason I wanted to summon you is so you'd know what was going on (in case you wondered why I was actively testing one day and not doing it for a long after) and that I may not be able to do as much on my positions or not really at all until this is resolved. Another update is that I may be going to "Urgent Care" on Thursday to see if they can do anything/see what they say...if it can be taken out there I'll do so otherwise I may have to wait until September like said and hopefully that's not the case as I'd really REALLY hate to have to miss some work on here. I know I know...everyone on here has said I shouldn't worry; but, I just don't want to make it seem like I don't care about my position or don't wanna do the work at all and just wanna apologize in advance if it ends up that way or i give off that feeling.

Again thank you and David for the opportunities I've been given on here with my positions, I really enjoy all the time I've had on the site as staff or just a user in general, and hope my semi-absence/absence won't be too much of an issue.

Wow, this is really scary. I hope that they can take care of it when the time comes and it doesn't become too bad. Stay strong and keep chugging.

Oh darn, I didn't see this thread until just now. I really hope that these health issues you've been having will go away. It makes me sad to hear that things haven't been going great for you lately. Get well soon man.

Just an update for everyone, I went into urgent care and just arrived home a few moments ago. We met up with a doctor there and he agreed that the tumor is definitely something that should/could be taken care of since it is causing discomfort and could grow to be cancerous if not taken care of eventually. We're going to have an appointment set up with a surgeon to get the thing taken out/part of it taken out, as it is really just a fatty tumor with the technical term being called a Lipoma...but like with many things can be dangerous if allowed to spread out.

The "good" news from all of this is that we are going to have it dealt with soon or sometime soon, and I actually have lost around 30-40 pounds since I was last at the doctor dropping me to 299 from the 340 or so I was at before.

The "Bad" news is that when he was examining my back, he noted that the tumor has split itself off into 2 separate parts while continuing to grow. So it's like splitting and then trying to reform in other areas of my back while enlarging itself....imagine what would happen to my shoulders or what not if it kept going? Hopefully things will still be alright with that one issue.


What is the most humorous part to me about all of this, is how you know I stated my regularly scheduled appt wasn't until "September" ....well....it actually isn't until Sept 29th!!! That'd be more than a month had I waited and who knows what could've happened during that 2 month time-span?? So that's my update for what happened today, I'm now having problems even walking at times with my left leg so hoping that I'll get a call from the hospital by Tuesday.
