ghostfishy : yeah, that's why I made this thread. I post my weekly review of Raw regardless of how much response I get. I'd love to get your take on things as well though. So much nicer to get feedback from someone else.

WWE loves to edit history to suit their current needs. And the average fan seems to have a 3 week memory of what has happened. If it wasn't that recent then people don't care or remember. Bella feud what?

Yeah, the Wyatt/Reigns/Shield thing is sort of up in the air. I don't know what they will do with it after this PPV. Like I said before, it seems to need the injection of something or someone to up the ante again. I wish Reigns had the MITB briefcase so that Bray Wyatt causing him problems was actually preventing him from being the champ. Oh well.

Yeah, Neville is awesome and while him vs stardust made for great matches it wasn't a great story. TO be fair though, how high can Neville go right now? He's pretty new to the average WWE fan and not quite big enough (like Kevin Owens) to be taken seriously as a title holder yet. Give him time. He'll be kind of like Daniel Brian was. People need to get behind him a bit more before he'll get a title run of any kind.

Well, the miracle wins and DQ's are sort of the bread and butter of a heel champion. They rarely win cleanly unless they are facing a "joke" opponent. Most of the time they cheat or get DQ'd to keep the title. It's a shame because Rollins as a face champion could be great. I could see them trying to turn him though. He's good enough on the mic that he could mock people almost as well as Cena or the Rock. I see Rollins being a star for a long time coming.

Agreed about Natalya and Paige. You said basically what I said about the feud which is nice to see that someone else feels it too. This one could have felt thrown together but instead seems like a legitimate beef these 2 women have with each other.

I expect Ryback and Kevin Owens will be done after this PPV. It's rare to have the former champ get more than 1 real shot at their championship before the new champ moves on.

The Bella's are what hold that back. Take them out and replace them with some of the NXT Diva's and you get great matches. Did you see the Sasha Banks vs Bailey match from August they were promoting during Raw? That match was awesome. The Bella's can't have matches like that.

I thought that same thing after I was done with my review. Problem is that they are likely going to lose the titles to the Dudley Boyz at the Hell in a Cell PPV so they would be back down to 1 title even if Big E had won. Still, I am enjoying the Dudley Boyz vs New Day more and more because of New Day. They are slowly becoming better and better heels as the weeks go on.

I have not been watching very much NXT. I might start a thread about that show on it's own because the rosters are so different. I'd need to go back a month or 2 in order to get caught up though. I'm willing to do that but it'll take a fair bit of time to do. Still, what I have seen from NXT has me very hopeful for the future of WWE.

I'm betting that WWE will book Kane to win the next PPV.
I mean stephanie was threating him to lose his job if he doesn't beat seth for the title, but knowing wwe they wouldn't get rid of a veteran like Kane, unless they have a storyline backed up for that.

I also think Sheamus will cash in his MTB too.

I'm wondering how will the Brock Lesnar VS undertaker feud will end in the final battle.

geeogree :
That's true, but Sometimes Wwe won't do it. Look at previous zack ryder and  Dean ambrose,  Zack Ryder got caught in the cena/Kane storyline.  Dean Ambrose helped get rollins over.

SuperCrash64 : he would only lose his spot as "Director of Operations". Obviously he wouldn't actually get fired. It's probably just a ploy to get hit to be masked Kane from now on.

Really? I don't. It would be a good time to do it I imagine as long as the match for the Heavyweight title is in Hell in a Cell but I don't see it happening this PPV. I'm not sure why but it doesn't seem like the right time. Unless Kane wins. Then I could see it happening.

I imagine it will be crazy. I hope Undertaker is up for it.

Zack Ryder wasn't really NXT. He's been around longer than that. The Shield was in NXT though.

geeogree : Yeah, having a separate thread for WWE NXT would be great especially when it is the greatest attraction in WWE at the moment. You may be able to get more replies with WWE NXT.

SuperCrash64 : I have a feeling that Kane will go back as "the demon" after the PPV. The way that he is booked right now as the two faced man doesn't look proper to me. He would probably be used to elevate some star like Big Show as a veteran.
I don't really care for the Taker vs Lesnar feud anymore since I feel like that ended after the streak ended. I don't see why WWE is still carrying on with this storyline.
Sheamus should cash in his briefcase and win the title since the Rollins vs Kane storyline doesn't interest me as much as it used to back in the past.

ghostfishy :
If you ask me, it's the most interesting storyline they have given him.

The Two-faced plot is really good, they haven't done anything interesting with kane's character since 2009 when they were giving him a Push as world champion imo, (At least I think it was 2009 or 2010 somewhere around that)

Did yall hear about Impact wrestling's wrestler James storm hitting NXT ?  Day After Day, Dixie tends to lose more wrestlers. Lol TNA is done for.  Looking forward  to him and Samoa Joe making an appearence in the top brands someday.

Looking back at it now, Yeah I can see Kane going back to 2012 masked(They can call it demon all they want, The Real Demon Kane was back in 2003 with the full fledged mask.)

I Bet WWE is planning to have Seth Rollins reign as Champion Exceel UFC Punks record, could be wrong about that but it seems that way with every PPv having him retain via win, Interference, etc.

Also can someone Please explain to me what is up with some of the Superstars Using A Joker-Type character? First Sting did this back in Tna, Then Jeff hardy followed with Willow in TNA. Now WWE's making Cody Rhodes do the same thing with his Stardust character.

As for the Brock and Undertaker Feud. I'm just hoping he won't end up Sustaining a serious career ending injury like Sting did at NOC.  I mean I hear all the facts about how Taker's way stronger than he was at Wrestlemania Last year, but still the Dude's getting up there in age.

SuperCrash64 : yeah, it used to be the other way around where people were looking at TNA as a place to go where they can have a slower schedule and take a break and rest their bodies and what not. Now it is the opposite where guys from TNA are looking at things and realizing that they can jump ship and not get buried like the WCW/ECW guys did in the 2000's.

SuperCrash64 : I agree with you there. Kane hasn't been as interesting as he was since a long time.

I heard about James Storm in WWE NXT and hopefully with some catching up to do in WWE NXT, I will be able to see what he can do in the ring since I never seen him appear before. The crowd is pretty awesome in WWE NXT and they give the extra magic to the WWE NXT wrestlers which makes me very happy and proud to watch pro wrestling.

That may be the case since AJ Lee's longest title reign is "erased" by Nikki Bella who cannot wrestle or act even if her dear life depended on it. Not sure where Rollins will end up at the moment. Sheamus is bound to take the title sooner or later if he is pushed properly or doesn't job by not being successful to cash in his briefcase. It would stink if he ends up as one of the few people to lose a title opportunity with the WWE Money In The Bank briefcase.

I don't watch TNA but I would assume that WWE loves these cheesy gimmicks with the PG era on loose. You have Cena as Superman, Orton as Batman, Stardust as the super villain, and etc. It might have to do with the product placement so that kids can relate to the WWE wrestlers.

Undertaker may have recovered a bit from last year's Wrestlemania but it is only temporary if he wrestles again. As much as I love the Undertaker with his gimmick and dedication to the WWE, he needs to put up his shoes and retire. It is only a matter of time before he ends up like other wrestlers like Edge and Stone Cold for example. Brock Lesnar can find some new clean competition without the Undertaker or any other outshaped part timer since he is a very convincing character whether it would be heel or face.

geeogree : That's the pro wrestling industry for you. Go wherever the crowd is the best and most supportive and stand out to them. I don't see TNA lasting so long in long terms like SuperCrash64.

it's unfortunate because without any real competition I could see WWE getting lazy again.

I honestly think a big reason for NXT rather than just some random developmental territory was because of TNA. Give guys a place to wrestle that didn't require being on the road all the time and busy but give them time in front of a camera and real quality experience. TNA was giving that (in ways) to a lot of guys. With NXT there is another (superior) place for them to get this training above the indies but not in WWE directly.

I honestly hope that TNA dies (it isn't viable long term, I agree) and that something moves up to take its place. I hope it is something new. Nothing that exists right now is built to be a competitor to WWE. Honestly if Hogan hadn't gone to TNA then TNA would be competitive right now. They spent so much money in him and he didn't give them the returns they needed. After Hogan's time the talent in TNA was homogeneous and the real talent that made TNA was either gone or halfway out the door. Unfortunate really.

So, HHH and Stephanie aren't going to be in the building for most of the night. Nothing is going to happen Lumberjack match for Seth Rollins vs Kane. Wouldn't it make more sense to make Rollins face someone else he has screwed over? Oh well.... something will happen

Dean Ambrose apparently knows where HHH and Stephanie are . He's pretty funny on the mic though. He says he's looking for a fight and Randy Orton comes out. That's interesting. I don't see these 2 fighting each other. I imagine Randy is out to say he is too and then the Wyatts will come out. Ah, they are partners at Hell in a Cell. That makes sense. And here come the New Day. I have no idea why they are out here.... this makes no sense at all. They are good on the mic though. Can't fault them for that at all. Still doesn't make any sense why they came out here.

New Day vs. Ambrose/Orton - this sort of just got put together.... not sure why but okay! The match is good and New Day is doing a great job of being annoying heels. Of course that is how the match would end. Got to have some sort of controversy with these 2 guys before the hell in a cell match.

Recap of Undertaker vs Lesnar over the last 2 years. Not really all that interesting but if neither of these guys are at Raw this week this is a way to keep this match hype going. I'm looking forward to the match but I don't think it is going to steal the show.

Nikki Bella vs. Naomi - I don't expect much out of this. Nikki Bella isn't all that interesting to watch as a wrestler. What a boring match. The ending was pretty stupid too. Let's move on to something more interesting!

John Cena time. Not a giant step up from the Bella's but at least the match coming up will be worth watching. Everytime they are in Chicago I wish it could be CM Punk coming out but I know it won't be that. Interested to see who does come out though. I have liked these open challenge matches since he started doing them. [waits] Yes! Ziggler actually walking out to the ring this time. I am super excited about this one. This match is going to be awesome.

Ziggler vs Cena - apparently someone proposed during a match.... haha, Cena got distracted and Ziggler took it to him. I like that. Don't screw around Cena. Ziggler came to win. Yes! Ziggler didn't get hit by the "You can't see me punch". I liked that. Oh, Cena got him anyway.... lame . Oh noes! STF(U). I miss the old names for his moves. They were so much better. Nice! He got out and has Cena in a sleeper! Wow, Cena is strong. That was awesome. Never gets old seeing Cena do stuff like that. I can't imagine picking up a 200 pound man off the ground and then lifting him over my head like that. Awesome. Nice! DDT off the top rope! That was awesome. What?!? That should have finished it. Not the DDT but the Attitude adjustment reversal that Ziggler did. Still can't believe that wasn't the end of the match right there. No! Yes! Ugh! I was so glad Cena didn't win with the roll through AA. Love the eye rake from Ziggler and then the super kick. That ALSO should have won the match. (I hate the editing of the video by the way.... change in angle after every punch? so lame.... teach your wrestlers how to pucnh). WHAT?!?!? Give me a break! I'm all for false finishes but 3 in a row and then a single AA takes out Ziggler? So lame. I hate how quickly John Cena does the AA "out of nowhere". He could barely stand but manages to hit that move as if he hasn't done anything for the last 20 minutes. Bleh. Ziggler deserved to win that match. I really hope they give him another chance at some point in the near future. I guess the match did what it was supposed to do.

Dudley Boyz vs. Ascension - here is a match that I don't care about. And it's already over What a relief.

Barrett/Sheamus vs. Neville/Cesaro - gotta love Neville's speed. He's so fast! He and Neville seem to be working together pretty well too. Good match to watch and it took 1 cheap shot to win. Not much else to say about the match really.

Reigns vs Stroman - okay... Reigns on the mic by himself. This is going on for a lot longer than he should be. Finally the Wyatts are out. And now the match begins. I know they are trying to build up the match but Reigns being on the mic for that long is a bad idea Stroman is scary strong. I know Roman Reigns is supposed to be "Strong" but Stroman is actually strong. Leave him on the outside and let him get counted out. Wow, Reigns won via count-out. What a joke .

Ryback vs Rusev - I was about to ask why these guys are fighting but Rusev wants to win a title before he'll say yes to Summer Rae so it does actually make sense since Ryback is the #1 contender to the IC title. So apparently Rusev and Lana got engaged (which makes NO SENSE based on what has recently happened) but Summer Rae is still with Rusev in Raw. You would think if he was planning this he would have axed the Summer Rae proposal thing. Oh, they showed it on the show.... wow. Haha, this is actually funny now. I wonder how Rusev and Lana will be once she comes back. Haha, Summer Rae just got cheered. I love how fast things switch around.

Calisto vs. Kevin Owens - I'm not sure if I should even bother saying anything about this match. It'll be over so fast. I wish Owens would use the spring board to get into the ring like the Lucha Dragons do That would be funny. This match has already lasted longer than expected. I like the trash talk to Michael Cole. More people need to trash talk Michael Cole. Cole is a tool and doesn't belong in WWE. He pales in comparison to some absolute greats in that position. I'd take JBL and the no name guy they have than having Cole anymore. Also, this match has lasted far longer than it should have. Owens should have destroyed this guy by now. There we go.

Brie Bella + vs "NBC" - I guess the group needs a new name since Paige has been replaced by Natalya. Whatever works. Hopefully this match is better than the earlier Diva's match. Uh, missile dropkick won a match? What a joke.

Sounded like a CM Punk chant after the segment with Kane on the phone. Not a surprise since they are in Chicago. I'm surprised they haven't had more of them during matches. Maybe I just didn't notice.

Rollins vs. Kane - uhm.... this whole Corporate Kane vs Demon Kane thing better wrap up at Hell in a Cell so that he can just be Kane with a mask and no longer be the stupid corporate stooge. So tired of that character. Wow, I didn't expect Kane to punch big show and I was a bit surprised that he punched back like that. When did John Cena put on Kane's mask? How many times is he going to kick out of stuff? This does feel a bit old school right now. Half the roster in the ring fighting things out and Kane beating up just about everyone. Glad Kane won. I want the masked Kane to do more as Kane.

This week felt like a bit of a step back to me. Not sure what it was missing but it felt like something wasn't quite on point. Maybe because it's the 2 week before the PPV show and I find that one is almost always bad. 3 or 4 weeks out they are setting up the PPV so there is stuff going on and the week right before almost always has controversy and build for the PPV itself but the show 2 weeks out almost always lags for me.

Still, I think the show overall was good.

Wow, Stone Cold Steve Austin starts out Raw. It's been a while since I've seen that one. Never gets old to see him come out. Well, that was a nice promo for upcoming shows and what not. And it sounds like the Undertaker is on his way out! This intro never gets old either. I could watch the Undertakers entrance over and over without him actually having a match because it is so iconic now. Nothing really compares.

Well that didn't last long. Undertaker only got about a minutes to talk before Brock came out. I really hope they don't fight right now. I want the match to be the first time they fight in the last month. The only thing I don't like about these promos after a month of hearing them is that there isn't anything new to say most of the time. Oh, looks like they're about to fight.... or maybe not.

Oh, John Cena time. Oh.... he's not defending the US title. I actually hope he comes back out to defend later then. If he's in the first match then maybe he'll be back out later. I prefer the open challenge over anything else he is in. Oh man.... what a terrible joke. Apparently New Day are unicorns

New Day vs. Cena and Dudleyz - nice. Cena off the top rope. That was unexpected. Also, haha at Dudleyz losing again. They'll win at the PPV. Ooooh, brawl. Xavier Woods through the table. I'm okay with that as well

Nikki + Alicia vs. Sasha + Naomi - the match was okay. It always feels like the other Diva's are carrying the Bella's. I'm looking forward to them retiring so the women can have better matches overall

HBK! He didn't get the same pop that Stone Cold got Is that all he is really out here for? Promoting a couple of matches. Oh, Seth Rollins is on his way out. This is interesting. They would have been great to face each other in their primes.

Rollins vs. Ryback - I just don't have a whole lot to say about a lot of these matches. The match was fine, not great. A bit surprised that Rollins won the match but I guess he is got momentum going into the PPV.

Ziggler + Cesaro + Neville vs. Rusev + Barrett + Sheamus - yet another match that was good but I didn't really feel like there was much to say. I liked the finish although it wasn't too cheaty. Still, good match.

The Ric Flair music never gets old for me. "Woooooo!" I love it. I'm a bit shocked at all the "legends" they have brought in for tonight's show. Oh, Wrestlemania promotion again. I guess that makes sense. Still, a bit over done to me.

Whoa whoa whoa.... that's not Luke Harper and Braun Stroman.... that's Erik Rowan (I think). So, if he is there then where is Luke Harper and does that mean the Wyatt's are now 4 strong? I've actually been hoping for this because that would make this group an absolutely massive force to recon with. Maybe Luke Harper is hurt.

Brie Bella vs Charlotte - great, another Bella match . Pretty predictable match. At least it wasn't long. I am tired of matches with the Bella's.

Mark Henry vs Kevin Owens - interesting.... a couple of big guys. He hit the power bomb on Mark Henry.... that was pretty impressive. Didn't think he would actually be able to do that. Mark Henry jobbing to yet another wrestler

Shield Reunion vs Wyatts - interesting match. These 3 were awesome but I can't imagine how this plays out. Of course. Rollins "got hurt". I knew something like that had to happen. I actually was expecting Luke Harper to show up at some point during that match. Not sure why he didn't. Oh well. Still interesting end to the match.

Overall I was actually disappointed with this weeks raw compared to others I've reviewed recently. Hopefully Hell in a Cell will be good and the next Raw can pick up from there.

Hell In A Cell results and overview of the matches:

Match 1) Cena VS Del Rio, Del Rio wins via backstabber+Super kick.
Comments: not surprised, there was rumors about Cena wanting time off. But I didn't expect Del Rio to win, I thought they could've made someone like Ambrose as US champ.

Match 2)  Roman Reigns vs Wyatt.  #Surprise, Wyatt loses clean again.
Comments: This was a pretty epic match despite bray losing yet again.
The only fact I hated was Roman actually no sold Wyatt's finisher a number of times during that match.

Match 3) New Day VS Dudley's. New day wins.
Comments:
Hated this match, they literally had Bubba Ray Dudley forced to sell Kofi's Trouble In Paradise.
If you watched the replay, Bubba actually blocked the move with his shoulder..
Just proving that new day literally sucks.

Match 4) Charlotte vs Bre.. Charlotte wins via Figure four leg lock.
Comments:
Egh, this felt more like a rehashed NOC match more than anything, they just added one extra cut scene to the match promo and called it a day too.

Match 5)  Kane VS Seth Rollins Wwe World heavyweight championship. Seth wins via Pedigree.
Comments:
Egh I had a feeling they weren't gonna let Kane win that match. But Looks like they're gonna make Seth break CM-Punks record, and ergo he's gonna be the new guy that's gonna be" Shoved down our throats".
I'm more curious of what they're gonna do to Kane's character now.

Match 6)
Kevin Owens vs Ryback. Owens retains
Comments: Kevin just got the title a while back ago, and he's a highly fan favorite heel. So Of course he was gonna win, still pretty good match though.

Main event: Lesnar vs Taker: Brock wins via low blow and F-5
Comments:
The ending with the Wyatt's attacking undertaker was egh..
If the Wyatt's are gonna feud with Taker again, they need to seriously give Wyatt a win here. And at least Brock got his revenge for all the low blows taker gave to him.Question is what awaits The Beast tonight on raw?

Overall Hell in a cell was a good pay per view, but seriously the fails in the matches disappointed me.

Hell in a Cell

Interesting - John Cena open challenge to start the show. I really hope he loses tonight. Obviously that depends on who he is facing but I'm still hoping he loses it to someone worthy. I like the open challenge matches because you get a new guy every week and John Cena is putting on some great matches while holding this title. WHAT?!? He's back! WOW! This is amazing! Alberto was so good. I'm so glad he's back. I was not expecting this at all. I'm so glad this didn't get spoiled in any way. This is so awesome! Now I understand why he didn't build up an opponent to face him tonight. They wanted the surprise!

Cena vs Del Rio - whoa, an arm drag. I didn't know people still knew how to do that Nice miss on the ropes. I like how he slipped right through. Hopefully del Rio isn't hurt by that move. Doesn't look like it after that back breaker. I'm loving this match so far. Del Rio is really taking it to Cena. I'm so glad he's back. Whoa! I didn't think that would be nearly enough to win it. I'm shocked. Cena almost always kicks out of the match at this point. I still expected him to lose but not to what he lost to. Oh well, Del Rio just made everyones day who is over 12 and not a female

Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns - this match is either going to be great or a complete flop. I really hope it measures up. I also hope it doesn't get some crap interference or anything like that. I want these guys to just fight it out between the 2 of them. Haha "whistling past the graveyard". What a good line for Hell in a Cell. So far, the match is actually kind of boring. It's been pretty obvious so far. I'm waiting for them to come up with something interesting to do. Kendo stick - not really anything to do with the cell. Maybe they aren't allowed to do much with the cell because it has to be used for at least 2 other matches. Okay, suplex through the table.... that might be neat. Still not anything to do with the cell. And you can't win with that move. Superplex through the table would be nice to see. Another non-cell thing though. They could have done with as a no DQ match and it would have looked almost exactly the same. Powerbomb through the table! Wow. John Cena must be dressed up as Bray Wyatt Still nothing putting either guy away. Kind of silly. Cena lost to a kick but these guys survive going through tables and each others finishers. What is with the Kendo sticks? Okay... that made no sense. Ah, Kendo stick to the throat, spear and the win. At least the match picked up somewhat halfway through. Still, not worthy of being a hell in a cell match. The cell was almost a non-factor.

Dudleyz vs New Day - I see another title change coming. I doubt the Dudleyz would come back without getting at least one title reign. Uh, that looked pretty bad. It could have been a good move but they really botched it. Wow, New Day managed to keep the titles. I'm actually surprised. I thought they would have gotten the win tonight.

Charlotte vs Nikki Bella - please just beat Nikki Bella so we don't have to watch her fight for the title anymore and we can have Charlotte fight someone really good. The move off the top was intense. The move on the apron was also painful. Oh good. Charlotte won. Go away Nikki Bella! Maybe she and John Cena can take some time off so we don't have to see either for a while. Not sure why Paige is out there. I actually expected something to happen. I hope they don't just ignore that Paige basically called Charlotte a transitional champion and all.

Rollins vs Kane - I was about to complain that the title match was not the last match until I remembered what the last match is likely going to be and I'm not as upset. Still, this seems like the 3rd last match. Also, I thought this match was going to in inside the cell. This is just a regular match. I'm kind of sad about that. I think Rollins could do a lot in the cell. I guess they are really wanting to save the cage for Undertaker and Lesnar. So far the match is okay. The hit off the announce table was a bit rough. I almost would have liked the count out win. They don't do those very much but it would be a legit way to win. I'm actually kind of surprised Rollins didn't win after the kicks and the frog splash. That could have done it. Pedigree should finish it. Yes! Kane is done. No more Corporate Kane. Demon Kane will likely be sticking around but not corporate Kane. No Sheamus?

Kevin Owens vs. Ryback - I forgot about this match. They've had some good matches but I don't think this is a long term rivalry. That wasn't much of a match. And that pop-up power bomb looks terrible on someone that big. Kevin Owens needs someone smaller than him to have good matches with. He's strong but doesn't look very strong fighting someone like Ryback.

Lesnar vs Undertaker - love the entrances for both guys. Also, surprised by the staredown at the beginning. I thought they would just start fighting. I love that Lesnar never looks intimidated. I like that the match is starting a bit slow. Feeling each other out to start the match. I like that so far Lesnar hasn't hit a suplex. Can't F5 very well in that little space. Uh oh, Brock is bleeding. Also I think a cameraman got squished in there at some point . Spinebuster! Nice move to get the control back. Lesnar is someone I can believe that if they hit you with a chair that it would actually cause major pain. Silly Doctor thinks Brock is going to stop? Not likely. His face could be covered with blood and he wouldn't care. That chair shot to the face was rough. I wonder how cleanly it connected. More shoulder than face on the replay. Undertaker got the suplex instead of Brock. That's a bit of a surprise. Ouch! Chair to the throat looked nasty. Nice, suplexes have started now. F5! Undertaker kicked out! Lame, the doctor again. Whoa, another F5. I thought the doctor was going to get in the way and give the Undertaker time to recover but Brock wanted nothing to do with that. Stairs. Of course it would be the stairs. These 2 used stairs last time I think. Stairs to the face and Undertaker still kicked out. I'm a bit shocked (if I didn't also know what time it was ). Wow, that could have actually broken a bone if it has connected like that. Right on the ankle and Undertaker would have been done. The kick back of the steps was a bit awkward but it looks like the steps landed on his head. That couldn't have felt nice. Hell's gate! Lesnar will pick him up. Lesnar hasn't been hurt enough. Well, he got out of it for sure. He threw about a dozen punches at Undertaker before falling down. What is Lesnar doing? Ouch! Straight onto wooden boards. That can't feel nice. Just like the last hell in a cell, there isn't much that has been used relating to the cell. Of course Lesnar kicked out of that. Everyone kicks out of the tombstone now. Karma! Undertaker used it to win their last match so for Lesnar to use it to get back at him is awesome. And Lesnar wins! I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad. Undertaker likely won't compete more than 1 or 2 more times but Lesnar could stick around for another 5-10 years. It only makes sense.

Whoa! Lights out.... interesting! The Wyatts are coming out! All 4 of them! I wonder if anyone is going to come help him. I imagine Reigns and Ambrose will come out but who else? Or maybe the lights will go out and he'll disappear. Setting up for Survivor Series for sure. I think that is the next PPV. Is no one coming out? I'm actually a bit surprised. Oh, they are taking him away! Interesting.

Interesting.

geeogree : Del Rio coming back was a definite surprise and I always love to see na lose. I had a feeling the Dudleys would lose though. New Day isn't done yet. Plus that poor trombone. So sad. That doctor in the Undertaker's match was ticking me off though. Since when do they have medical staff in the cell? I'm glad to see Undertaker go out with a clean pin though. True class. As I was going to sleep last night though I kept thinking about the Wyatts and what they were up to. Can't wait until Raw.

Ferdinand : yeah, Del Rio coming back was awesome. I heard how he was let go and I was pretty annoyed. Lame way to go. Glad he got to come back. He's been one of the best they've had in the last 5 years. He has had some great rivalries and matches. He's a mix of old and new school which is great.

Yeah, I wasn't too surprised about the Dudleys either but I was expecting a win at the same time. It just seemed like it was time for them to win.

The doctor was so annoying. He wasn't cut that bad. And Lesnar wasn't going to stop fighting for just about anything and neither was Taker. Glad the finish was clean. I get so sick of finishes that involve some sort of swerve or cheat or something that didn't need to be there.

Raw - Oct 26th

"The AUTHORITY!" - oh good. Here comes a 10 minute monologue. I really hope they get interrupted. Oh good, they brought out Seth Rollins which means even more talking Yeah yeah, Seth is amazing. He's only had 1 or 2 clean wins in the last 6 months. Still, classic heel. #1 contender tournament.... interesting.

Roman Reigns is someone who won last night. So is Brock Lesnar.... I wonder how long it will take for him to come out and Seth can crap his pants. I doubt it'll happen though. Of course, Roman Reigns is likely to win. They've been rebuilding him for a title run for a while now. I would be okay with that honestly. Wow, New Day really owns this gimmick. Almost to the point of being annoying about it

Reigns vs. Kofi - so, Reigns is going to win this one. I don't see it even being a contest. I like Kofi and all but Reigns is going to win and compete in the fatal four way. I don't see Kofi getting the chance. Not with Xavier hurt. Still, hopefully Kofi can put on a good match with Reigns. Or I guess I should say hopefully Reigns can make Kofi look good cause Kofi is great in the ring. Oh snap, Big E distracted Reigns and Kofi caught him off guard. What a surprise . Oh fine, he is "tired" from the Hell in a Cell match from last night. I guess that is fair enough. Ouch, that was weak.... way to "pick up" Kofi. Reigns really needs to work out if he wants to actually look strong. You can't just seem strong you have to BE strong. Now THAT looked strong. See, I told you he would win. No way Kofi would actually be in the heavyweight title picture right now.

Cesaro vs Kevin Owens - interesting. This is a qualifying match. I imagine Cesaro will win since Ownes has the I/C title. You never know though. Cesaro was good in the kick-off show but Owens is also someone who could go for the heavyweight title believably. What is with Kevin Owens and Michael Cole? Now that is how you do a series of near falls. Cesaro is so good to watch. He yelled at Cole again. What is with that? Please don't do a double count-out. Oh good. That would have been so stupid. So awesome. That roll off the apron onto Owens was awesome. Awesome awesome awesome Seriously, I can't keep up with everything going on. That upper cut jumping off the ropes was great. Wow, Owens won. I'm actually surprised by that one. Owens vs Rollins would be pretty good. I was surprised by the result of this one for sure.

PCB vs. Team Bella - bleh. More Bellas. To be fair the match was actually pretty good. I wasn't blown away or anything but it was pretty good. Wow, Paige attacked Charlotte. I'm not surprised at all. Actually kind of glad to see it. Paige is better like this. A little crazy and out for herself.

Del Rio vs. Neville - this has got to be a first for those 2. I don't know if Neville was even in NXT when Del Rio was a name. At least it's never happened in WWE. I can't see Neville winning this match though. Del Rio is too good. I was wrong about Cesaro vs Owens though so anything is possible . Wow. That stomp off the top rope was awesome. I'm glad something like that won the match. It seems like he is getting away from the arm-breaker as his only way to finish people. I'm glad for that.

Dudleyz + Ryback vs. Barrett, Rusev and Sheamus - this is a weird match. I guess (according to the announcers) this is the losers bracket or sorts. They just get to fight and don't really get anything for it though. And most of the match was just beat up on Devon. So lame . Triple clothesline. Oh well.... fan service all the way! Haha! What a lame win. They need to stop getting the tables already. I think it has been used to make them lose a few times in a row now. Kind of pathetic.

Interesting promo from Bray Wyatt and even more awesome that Kane came out. I'm actually interested in what they might do with this storyline. It has so much potential. Kane is actually big enough that you can believe he could fight one on one with any of these guys. He's picked up the big show so taking this guy on shouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. Still, 3 or 4 on 1 isn't realistic. It'll be interesting to see who (if anyone) comes out to help. It looks like no one is going to. I'm liking this so far though. It is becoming an interesting storyline.

Big E vs. Ziggler - honestly this one could go either way. I could see Ziggler winning and I could see Big E winning. I doubt Big E will win for the same reason that I said I don't see Kofi winning. Although, 2 current champions are in the match so I guess that doesn't matter much either. Also, whoever the guy is win the cell phone on a fluffy stick needs to jump off a bridge. I guess I could talk about the match. It's been pretty good so far. The catch into the power bomb looked good. The abdominal stretch is a little dated. I like how hard he took that bump out of the ring. Not many people sell the spring board thing that well. Wow, I thought Ziggler had him with that last move (I don't know how to spell it and it's a pretty stupid name). Wow, Ziggler kicked out of that splash. I'm actually a bit surprised by that one. I thought that was going to be enough. Super kick isn't enough either. Nice! Ziggler got him! I actually kind of want Ziggler to win the fatal for way and win the title without having a money in the bank briefcase. We'll see though. It would be a tough win at this point with who is in the match.

Reigns vs Del Rio vs. Kevin Owens vs. Ziggler - it's really hard to write anything about a fatal four way match. Stuff is happening so fast that even if I want to mention it there is already something new happening. This has been a pretty good match so far. Some close calls for who was going to win the match. Not a surprise that Reigns won that match. Just finished his rivalry with Bray Wyatt and everyone else either has a title or a new feud starting already. He makes the most sense. Plus, it's been building since Wrestlemania for Reigns to get his shot at Seth Rollins. And really, I don't know if Reigns has ever really gotten Seth back for breaking up the Shield. This feels inevitable at this point. I actually hope he doesn't actually win. We'll see though. I'm also done with Rollins holding the title so who knows how I'll feel when they finally fight.

Raw Nov 2nd

Starting off with Roman Reigns. Yeah yeah, he's going to beat Seth Rollins down and win the title. Glad that was the entire promo. That's about as long as Reigns should talk right now. And here comes Seth to retaliate. Complementing each other now? As much as I don't like Seth Rollins character I do think he is far better in the ring than Reigns. He is much better in the ring and has far better moves than Reigns. The Authority is on the scene. Wow, cheap heat. Give me a break. Get on with it. Interesting - 5 on 5 match. I like this idea. So, Seth Rollins and the Wyatts? That would be simple and pretty strong. We'll find out soon enough I guess.

Ziggler vs Owens - the match was great until the Tyler Breeze guy came out. I can easily tell he is going to be a good heel because he is annoying as hell and doesn't really do anything. The selfie stick alone is super annoying. And Ziggler is done! I'm actually a bit surprised that the match was that 1-sided. They are definitely building up this rivalry between Ziggler and Breeze into being something. Too bad Summer has to be involved. Still, I guess it could make sense. Curious to see this guy in the ring against Ziggler though. What a terrible name for a move. "Beauty shot". Gag!

Cesaro vs Miz - ugh, Miz is back? His Hollywood character is getting really old. He's a good heel but I think he needs a revamp. Haha, Cesaro is awesome! Up down up down up down. And Cesaro wins. Not much to really talk about with this match. It was good but not overly interesting. Miz needs to go away.

I liked the Wyatt promo. Interesting to see if they have a survivor series group face off against the Wyatts at Survivor series. That would be pretty epic.

Lucha Dragons vs. King Barrett and Sheamus - this won't last long. Sometimes I wonder why they bother with matches like these. Sure they are different people facing each other but I rarely see the point in a lot of them. Wow, Sin Cara didn't botch the move! I'm in shock. Just give it a minute and he'll manage to screw something up. Ew, it lasted through a commercial break. Are you kidding me? Lucha Dragons won? What a joke!

R-Truth vs Del Rio - this won't last long. Although, I said that last time and that Lucha dragons match lasted way longer than it should have. Still, I see Del Rio winning this one fairly quickly. Still needing to establish his stature in WWE by having him win decisively. That stomp in the corner is awesome. It looks so deadly. I hope he doesn't try to use it every time though. Getting someone in that position in the corner every time isn't something that just happens. Still, it looks great.

Becky vs Sasha vs Paige vs Brie - fatal 4-way to become #1 contender. I honestly think I'm hoping for Sasha or Paige. I see it being Paige because of the history they have. I'd like Sasha to win as well though. Just don't let it be Brie. Nice! Paige is #1 contender. Not a surprise. Great match but I was too busy to type my way through it. I also think Brie is better than Nikki in the ring. Maybe it was the 3 she was in with but she seemed better than Nikki.

5 vs 5 Survivor Series match - New Day, Kevin Owens and Seth vs. Reigns, Uso's, Ryback and Ambrose - the Uso's are back! I wasn't a huge fan of theirs 6 months ago when they were around but I wasn't as happy with WWE's quality back then. Maybe I'll like them better now. The match itself was pretty good. Again, didn't have time to write too much about what happened. Looking forward to that title match though. I actually would like to see Reigns beat Rollins now .

Ferdinand : that is something that the average fan doesn't understand. Heels almost always have longer title runs than faces. Hulk Hogan being a major exception to that in the 80's. The real drama is the good guy fighting through all the odds in order to get the title and then fighting to keep it for a while. Once that drama fades they either turn heel or drop the title. Having the face hold the title for too long makes it boring (Cena is a great example of this).

You surely get it man. And you can understand why I hated Hulk Hogan with a real passion in the 80s.

Ferdinand : I didn't understand wrestling enough in the 80's (or Hulk Hogan) to know why I shouldn't like him. Although he wasn't all that much better or worst than a lot of other wrestlers back then. Contrast Hogan with Flair who was a champion a lot through the 70's and 80's and you have the main difference between a heel champ and a face champ.

I'm not saying I don't like a face champion but it's hard to be the underdog face champ for long without it getting old. Occasionally you get someone who is great as a face champ and they get a long run. However, compare the same wrestlers face run to their heel run (like Hogan) and the heel run is almost always more memorable. At least for me.

geeogree : Yeah I was pretty limited in my exposure then though. I only got WWF programming and some AWA and WCCW. No NWA with Flair at all. Back then the I-C belt was the exciting singles belt for me. Greg Valentine was my boy for a while back then.
