100 Balls Challenge is a game that can become quite addicting if you know how to play, but not for too long. This is kind if a short lived game and after you play for a while you begin to lose interest, but I really like this game because it's a really easy way to pass some of the time. I found this game a while ago actually and decided to give it a try and I liked it. I played it for a couple of weeks and then I got rid of it and then I recently downloaded it again and started playing it some more.

GRAPHICS 5/10

The game is pretty simple when it comes to the graphics, all you have is the background and the contraption that is the case, the cups, and the balls. Neither of them start with any color except the balls, they are all white while the balls are yellow, but once you have played for a bit, the cups will change colors, and when the balls drop into these cups, they change colors as well. It's nothing big, the only other thing you have in terms of graphics which isn't about the balls would be the animations, like of the cups moving and the balls dropping, which are pretty decent. I don't really think that the graphics are all that great and I'm going to give this aspect a 5 out of 10 for a grade.

SOUND 3/10

What is it with me playing games that have really bad sound lately? I don't know what it is with some games, it's as if there are some developers who don't even want to go through the trouble of taking free music and sounds for their game. They don't even have go hire someone for the music or make their own, they just need the free ones, but some games don't even bother with that and think that a game can be successful with little to no sounds at all. It just so happens that's what these guys thought when they were making this game, they figured the other aspects would make up for the fact that the sounds are terrible, but they were wrong. There's almost no good point here when you talk about this aspect and it could have been a lot better. Personally, I would have to say that this aspect is the worst of the entire game and as for a grade, it gets a 3 out of 10.

ADDICTIVENESS 4/10

The game starts off with a good amount of fun, but then it seems to dry up pretty quickly. This is kind of like a puzzle game where you have to drop balls from a platform into cups as they pass under you and there's a lot of strategy and timing involved here and that's one of the kinds that I like the most when it comes to games. However, the game doesn't really keep that same vibe throughout the game, it gets really repetitive because there's nothing else to do. Let's say you play the normal mode and you get a high score of like 1200, the only thing that you can do now is the same thing over again and try to get a higher score. Even if you are the kind of person that likes going after high scores, like me, the game will begin to feel like it's dragging on after a while. Basically it starts off addicting but quickly descends into nothing and for a grade gets a 4 out of 10.

STORY N/A

I could come up with a story even if I tried. The only thing that you do here is wait for cups to move under you, drop balls into them, hope that none if then spill out, and wait for the cups to come back around so they can drop the balls back onto your platform. That's all you do and you get points along the way, there's no story at all so this aspect is going to be left blank.

DEPTH 1/10

I can't lie and say that there's depth to this game because this is one of the smallest games that I have ever played. There does happen to be 4 different game modes, but by different, I mean almost exactly the same. You have regular mode which is just the regular game and then you have crazy mode which is just a little bit faster. Then you have soccer mode which you can only unlock after rating the game and all this does is make the colored cups turn the balls into soccer balls. Lastly you have the basketball mode and I don't even know what this is because you have to pay for it. On top of all that, the actual game itself has no real content, all you're doing is repeating dropping balls into the cup and then waiting for them to come back, there's no variety at all and for that, this aspect will get a 1 out of 10 for a grade.

DIFFICULTY 8

The game can be really difficult, especially if you aren't that great with your timing and all. Even if you have perfect timing, some of the balls that you drop are going to miss the cup and if a ball doesn't land in the cup, that's a lost life that you can't get back. If none if the balls land in the cup, bot only do you lose all of the balls, but you lose the cup as well. That's really the only thing that you need to worry about with this game, you just need to focus on you timing and the speed because if you don't you could end up losing really quickly. Other than that, there aren't any other issues, but those are pretty big ones and will cause the grade for difficulty to be an 8.

OVERALL 3.2/10

Don't get me wrong, the game will start off fun, but it's just not something you would want to play long term, but for maybe half an hour, yes, you should play it for half an hour. It's free so there's nothing that should be holding you back from checking it out. For the first half hour that you play, the game will appear to be pretty fun and would probably be about a 7 as a grade but later on once the boredom starts to kick in you realize that on an overall scale, the game isn't what it looks like at the beginning. Overall, I would say that the game deserves something along the lines of a 3.2 out of 10 for a grade.
