Should Scott Cawton reveal all the secrets of FNAF with the release of 4? OR should he keep it up to the theorists to determine what the secrets are to the story. 

Both paths have advantages, so debate AWAY!!! 

I think the best thing to do would leave some theories and secrets open after the 4th game and then answer some in the movie. That would be a great way to get even more people to be involved once the games are done

zanderlex : I had forgotten about the movie. I wonder where it will place in the story line. I think the movie would explain at least the story line and the lose ends... but there should be some stuff that should be up to the people to continue to debate about. 

I dint think having a story that takes place during one of the games would be that interesting so I feel that they might try out something different for the movie.

zanderlex : Well, if you look at Game Theorists videos on the matter, they explain it extremely well in what I think is as close to 100% logically sound in terms of accuracy that you can get. Now, where 4 takes place, I do not know. I can only assume it will take place after 3. 

Think about it! In 3, you saw shadows of the anamatronics. The only one that could attack you was Springtrap, who was supposedly trapped and killed in the fire. There was something in the trailer for 4 that made it seem like it took place after the events of 3, and not between 2 and 1 ( because everybody can agree that 2 is a prequel to 1 ) . So, having " Nightmare " models after the shadow models makes sense. 

I think if the movie expands on the events of 4, or takes place in 5, with a security officer going around to answer all the questions, that it would be great to do it like that. That way, the games remain a mystery, and the movie has an actual purpose of trying to explain the events of the franchise, rather than just taking advantage of the popularity. It would also help drive sales for the movie. 

Now, I still think that not everything should be answered, so if they go this route, then they will have to be careful what they reveal in 4 and the movie, that way there is still some questions left up in the air to keep the franchise alive, in terms of keeping people playing it. I mean, if I knew all the answers to the mysteries, I wouldn't play the games. 

So you mean something like another new guard who is already aware of what has been going on and gets the job for the purpose of finding our what it is that went on?

thing1 : personaly I view that entire series as a blatent cash grab and fad so tbh I think he should learn how to make a new game cx. but if he didnt revieal the secrets after 4 games I would start to wonder if he even planed the story at all.

zanderlex : I don't know. I need to see what happens in 4 before I can make any more structured opinion. I as just spit balling with ideas earlier.

If you watch The Game Theorists videos ( who I consider to be the most logical theories ) , I think they have the best sounding stuff because of the amount of the research they have done. I think Scott knows what he is doing. I am just surprised at how quickly he spit out the second game after the first, and it being considered a success.
