As a child I remembered growing up with my purple lunchbox my gamecube of course. There were so many fantastic games for that system one of which being The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker. This particular title is what introduced me to the legend of Zelda series I have since purchased older Nintendo consoles on EBay and Amazon and I've purchased quite a few games including most of the Legend of Zelda titles, (I could never understand the hype around Ocarina of Time I didn't like it all that much) well anyway on to what makes it a fun game. The art style makes it a really fun game to look at, the combat has always been seamless for me at least, the sea battle with the Kraken is probably my favorite part of the game, and sailing the high seas with my trusty boat. Well now you know my favorite game what's yours?

There were many games I enjoyed as a child, and I basically had all 6th generation consoles at some point (Gamecube, Xbox, PS2 with the exclusion of the dreamcast) I also had a Sega Mega Drive, so I experienced quite a few games.

Probably the game I treasured most as a kid, was Pokemon Collosseum for the Gamecube. I was a huge Pokemon fan when I was youngey, which I still am but it was almost on another level then. I adored everything that had to do with Pokemon, the games, anime, TCG etc. And I'd barely played any Pokemon games before it besides, maybe Pokemon Silver and only briefly.

So to see a fully 3d console Pokemon game, more or less blew my mind at the time. And it had double battles as well which I had never seen before and thought was really cool since it made it more strategic for me. What was even more cool was that you played as someone who was basically an ex member of the regions evil team, which was really badass in my eyes, (even that weird motorcycle thingy he always travelled on) I remember playing it all the time when I was little despite not being that good at english, until eventually the disc broke which was probably one of the saddest days in my life :I

Probably the first game I really loved playing when I was younger and first even tried playing video games was Aladdin for the Mega Drive/Genesis, I had played some platformers before since that and After Burner was basically all I had in my game library but Aladdin was the first game that really hooked me on it, that scimitar made it so much more awesome than the SNES version :3 Though while I probably came close I don't think I ever managed actually beating the game sadly, probably something I should catch up on sometime in the RGR.

Super Mario Brothers. The one that really got the ball rolling as far as that franchise goes. Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Junior, and Mario Brothers were great, but it was like you got all three combined in that game. Before that, I had Pac-Man fever big time. I don't really know how big Pokemon really is since I considered it for kids when it started becoming popular and I was already at least in grade school, but Pac-Man was everywhere in the day....on my Trapper Keeper, on my T-shirts, on my Saturday morning cartoons, heck, even on the radio. I had Pac-Man for the A2600 and as bad as that was, I played it to death. Then one day I played SMB. My whole world seemed to change. I became obsessed with getting an NES. I wasn't the first kid to get one, but I wasn't the last. I wanted that game SOO bad and you know it was the game that was included with the system....if you got the regular system. God bless them, my parents knew how badly I wanted that Nintendo and even though we never had much, they really went all-out that Christmas for me. And got me the MORE EXPENSIVE set. The one that included the light-gun(cool) and R.O.B. (not so cool). And NO Super Mario Brothers..just Gyromite and Duck Hunt. So I was stuck trying to get other kids to let me borrow theirs or convince them to trade their copy me for a day or two for Duck Hunt(because NO ONE wanted to borrow R.O.B....poor guy). I never did actually own my own copy of the game until years later even though I could have beaten it blind-folded back then.

My favorite game from my childhood is the first non-educational video game I ever played: Pac-Man. I was introduced to it by my dad when I was 7 years old, and to this day I still play it once in a while. I used to be obsessed with Pac-Man and play it almost every day for several hours.

Lately, I've only played it a few times a month, but when I play it not-so-often I still love it.

It's hard to say, since I don't have that many memories from my childhood. My memories about the Dreamcast are very vague, and I also don't clearly remember many PSX games I used to own.

I'll go with an easy pick and say Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire. Back in the day, both me and my father used to play it. We've never been that close anymore, so I think it's a worthy memory.

If I had to choose a game not owned by me, I would go with Mario Kart 64. My cousin had it, and it was fun as hell competing against him and our other two cousins. Those days are long gone, but back then, I already pioneered the fact to rotate the controller itself to steer, much like you can do nowadays with wireless controllers

The first console we had at home was a Coleco, but I did not like it. The games required too much dexterity (Zaxxon, Lady Bug, Zipper Ripper) for me to enjoy. However, Tetris was much more enjoyable (on my father's old computer) because it required a little more logic. To a lesser extent I also liked Bugertime although I did not progress very far.

I really enjoyed playing paper mario The Thousand Year Door. Even now it is probably one of my favorite games of all time.
The story was amazing for a gamecube game and I loved the graphics as well.

I really don't remember any of the games that I played when I was small. the only game I remember was a game that you shot rabbits ( they also might have been bunnys) from a rooftop. There was a lot of cussing and blood. so maybe that's why I remember it so well

This is so tough. There were so many great games on the N64, Gameboy Color or GBA I could choose. In the end, my favorite childhood game would have to be Super Mario 64. That classic has everything that you could possibly want from a platformer. It has brilliant graphics, a fantastic soundtrack, and some of the finest gameplay you'll ever see in a video game. It was Mario's first 3D adventure, and in my opinion, it's also his greatest moment. I could've said Ocarina of Time, which is my favorite adventure game of all time, but in the end, I have to stick with Super Mario 64, the greatest platforming game ever made.

Oh boy, My first console was a handheld. A Game boy Pocket! I played a lot. I had Pokémon Red and SolarStriker back then. I played them a lot when I was a kid. I remember getting stuck on SolarStriker when I was a kid.

I, personally, remember only Megaman games as my childhood. I used to love Megaman and play every game that he had. I specifically remember the Megaman Battle network series. I remember the first time I tried it, it was around 2004? I always used to go to my cousins house and one day he bought a Gameboy Advance and Megaman Battle Network II. I tried it out and I was in love with it. The concept was new to me and I enjoyed it to the fullest. I even bought a Gameboy Advance just for the Battle Network series. I only had Battle Network 2,4, and 6. 6 was the most memorable for me, being the best out of the series as it improved its flaws and made the game play better. The ending in 6 was pretty sad for me, because Dan was grown up and no more kid Dan, making me not relate to him anymore.

The earliest game I think I can remember was Super Mario Bros for NES. I remember browser being SO hard to beat, though I think it was likely just the nerves.

My childhood gaming life is quite a little story, as it started a little later than most people I know, so few people might find this a shock.

Because my first game console was an Xbox, in its late (dead) years, my favorite and only childhood game was the Grand Theft Auto series. The first game I ever had was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I didn't like it as much as the 2 games afterward.

A few months later I visited a friend and, guess what? He had two Xbox games but no console... Nope, none. It was quite coincidental how they were both within the same console and series of the game I already had. He gave me both, Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

When I got home a little more than a week later, I tried Grand Theft Auto III first, as it should've been better than San Andreas and Vice City. However, I was in for a major disappointment. It was an exact replica of Vice City, only with a different character and different city. So, with almost no hope in being impressed, I popped in San Andreas.

It started out a little slow, but it was definitely better than the others. However, as I continued playing, I discovered that it was the best one of the three. It had slightly better graphics, way better features, and an amazing storyline.

So, without further ado, I would say my favorite game in my early gaming years would be Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Ignoring Pokemon, my favorite is Mega Man Zero 3. It's the first game I ever got for my beloved Game Boy Advanced, and is the best title in one of my favorite franchises of all time. I spent many an hour on that game, and I think I'm currently on my 12th playthrough on the GBA version, and my 10th on the Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS.

Apart from SMB that I mentioned earlier, did anyone play 4-squares?

It's  game you play with a basket ball and a large square divided in four on the ground. It's a blast, I played it waaay later than I should... like until grade 12.

well i am still in my childhood but i'll go back a few years. my favorite childhood game was my first ever pokemon game heartgold.i was new to pokemon games and clueless and i would just capture the first pokemon i found. it was fun and at the time i thought all pokemon games had pokemon walking after but to my surprise it was only pokemon heartgold. i really had fun playing it and i actually felt like a pokemon trainer. i never finished it though cuz my DS broke sadly.

Pokemon fire red version. I was always amazed by it as a kid. It was also my very pokemon game that introduce me to the franchise. I've been a fan of it ever since.
