I voted for more systems and 2 plugin instances at once. As for the systems I was thinking possibly DS games. I know they are still available in stores but a lot are being faded out. And it won't be long until the new systems will no longer support DS compatibility. I know emulators exist for DS games so it's possible to do. Plus there are some great hack versions of games that would be amazing to have easier access to. As I know some people have problems downloading these game but through Vizzed it would be available without prior download.

I am still hoping for DOS games somewhere down the road. My budget is really, really tight right now, but it looks like things will get better in another couple of months - and when that happens I am DEFINITELY donating. I love this site so much.

Also, other consoles like DS, Gamecube (for an item which costs Viz) or 3DO would definitely work out!

Since Chrome support is coming back with the next plugin update, DOS games would probably be the best thing to add moving forward. It has a massive number of games, they have small file sizes, and many of them are abandoned so there's little chance of retaliation. It seems like a prime target.

I really really really realllllllllllly hope we get DOS =P There are just so many games that are good for DOS on the off hand, it brings back so many memories for me. Anyone else want DOS?

Davideo7 : I would think netplay for added devices would be a good idea(gba etc.). But its up to you for that decision.

The latest updates have not fixed C64.
Anything that requires the joystick to be changed to the other port is unplayable.

I renew my request for CCS64 to be added.

I feel that we need more systems in the RGR. There may be tons more needed but it would be in my best interest if a Sony PSP ( were to be added.

Sure a Nintendo DS would be good but I hardly think it should be a priority, as it will take a long time, just to work on the touch-screen feature, keeping only it as a touch-screen, while not affecting the other emulators.

A PSP would be quick and easy to add, plus there are so many great games to the PSP, such as DBZ Tenkaichi Tag Team, which I have personally always wanted to play.

I'm not sure if I posted this before in this thread, but if so, I'm posting it again.

I really do think that we need to figure a way to transition the site to work like a lot of the competitors. As in running completely in-browser with no need to knowingly have to download larger plugin files and all of that. I honestly think that a big reason for the drop off in traffic is that many of our competitor sites that run well are completely loaded in-browser with no extra installs needed.

I think that many people are scared off to download and install a file from a site that people don't fully trust or know anything about. Especially if they have some sort of technical issues getting things set up.

I know that this is an expensive fix, but I honestly do think that's the direction we need to go moving forward.

Jordanv78 : I don't recall what thread I said it in, but I'll say it in here...I think if we highlighted the features of using the plugin over using those in-browser sites, we would get more traffic.
Those other sites have very limited features and most of the time don't even allow for save states or have controller support. We need to focus more on what the plugin does better than other sites than trying to make this site have a less featured in-browser plugin.

On a side note, I think we need the cfgs to be fixed so they save controls and options again.
I'm not sure why we can't do that anymore, but it is a bit of an annoyance to have to set them every time.

Vanelan : Agreed, although that still doesn't get past the fact of the users that we miss ultimately because people don't want to download a file from a site they have never heard of. I've seen it time and time again. Then if they have any sort of technical difficulties, it's all over.

The thing about those in-browser sites (and several of them do support save states and controllers)is they don't have those issues because people can start playing right away. Which is what gets them to come back. I feel we need to make it as easy as possible to have people play.

Jordanv78 : Can you pm me one of the sites you are referring to? Obviously I don't want you to advertise another site here. I wanna see what they use and see how we could possibly implement it ourselves. Maybe someone already did the work and we can tweak their plugins to our needs.

It would definitely be nice to see N64 recording support at least.

Another thing that would be nice is seeing Nintendo Gamecube games on here, but I don't know if that would be possible. I mean, I know there's PS1 and Dreamcast games, so disc games are obviously a thing here (though, those are a generation older), but I don't know the technical parts (like how much bigger or smaller Gamecube games are compared to something like PS1 games).

- I'd like to see USB controllers be compatible with more systems, particularily the N64, as my controller works perfectly with the SNES and PS1 emulators, but it doesn't work with the N64 emulators. It says that I don't have a controller plugged in.


- I'd like to see full screen compatibility with more systems than the SNES. Because full screen looks awesome.

Well I would like DOS games so that is my main choice right now, but I was thinking I saw someone else post this before and I would like to also share my support on that idea as well. Not sure if it's possible or not, but would love to be able to play Windows 95 or 98 games there were some very awesome games on Win 95 and 98.

me and a couple friends have tried the netplay on a few games before and well... i'd be lying if i said it ended well in any way at all. couldn't get the controls working (when i would host, the whole controller setup wouldn't work at all for whatever reason. same for when they'd host the netplay session.), and even if they would have worked, we'd likely be faced with the issue of lag.

my laptop is several years old now but it can handle emulating even ps2 games...somewhat. it depends on the game and probably how far ps2 emulation (pcsx2 as my emulator of choice) has progressed since i last tried it. if that'd be fast enough for this nice sounding feature and it wound up working out better than the netplay then i say go for that. might not be the exact same in regards to multiplayer but it'd be better than nothing, right?
