Ok. I have not done a review of Jak 3 yet but I will tomorrow. Right now, I am reviewing Jak and Daxter HD Collection for the PS Vita. Since there is not a change in any aspect, I will just copy and paste from my previous review and add what needs to be added. Okay. Without further a do, let us get on with the review!
Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy

The game play of Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy, is pretty solid
for a 3d platforming game. It has a pretty solid set of controls, but is
slippery at times. This means if you let go of the controls, you might
still move for a split second after. I do not know if it was just me or
my controller but that is what happened with me. One thing I did not
like about the game though is the sole fact that you only have 3 hits
and you are dead. You can have a 4th hit but that is if you collect 50
green eco orbs to make for one extra hit point. Now this does seem
appropriate at the time, but quite annoying. It has a lot of funny
moments that happen, mainly including when your character dies. Daxter
will come in front of the camera and say something funny like, "I am
thinking of something sad to say at your funeral like, HOW AM I GOING TO
GET CHANGED BACK NOW!" which always makes me chuckle. The next thing
which will contain a major spoiler is that there are precursor orbs. In
order to get the secret ending, which is not much different then the
regular ending, you need to collect every single orb. Thankfully they
are all not that well hidden and most of them are in plain sight.

Next
is the graphics of the game. Even though the game was made in the
2000's and needs that cartoon like texture, I still think they could
have done a better job. The game looks pretty good and has no frame rate
lag at all. The best part of them all is that there are no loading
screens. How cool is that? I enjoyed not seeing a loading screen every
time you go to a new area. The only loading screen you get is by loading
the game or using the warp gate at a far distance but I do not classify
that as a loading screen. The cut scenes look just like the game if not
a little better. Which is kind of sad when the game has less quality
than the cut scenes.

The sound is also the same as the
graphics. It could have been so much better. While it is not great, it
is not terrible either. If anything, like the graphics, the sound is
sub-par. Although, the music is very invigorating and electrifying. I
have never had a game pump me up during a boss fight at the time or even
just walking around. Some of the soundtrack is quite soothing at times,
and quite energetic at others.

This game is addicting but
not addicting enough to constantly play it. There is not much to do
other than get the collectibles and beat the game, but if you are a
completionist, then it very well can be addicting.

The story
in the game is quite good but could use much more content. The story
revolves around Jak your played character and Daxter, the funny and
annoying character who got turned into some weird animal that to this
day I still can not figure out the name of. I am sure in Jak 3 it says
it but I do not remember.

There is not much to do in this
game as stated in the addicting section, because all there is to do is
get all the collectibles and beat the game. It is as simple as that. So
there is not much replay value. I must say though, being young and all
it took me over a year to beat the game. I picked it back up a couple of
moths ago and got 100% in less than 24 hours. Go figure.

The
difficulty is extremely hard. There is no difficulty setting. It is
just simply hard. Even speed runners and expert plat formers can have
trouble with this game. Simply because of the fact that YOU ONLY HAVE
3-4 HITS!

Overall my rating of this game is 7.6

Jak 2

The game play in Jak 2 is a pretty decent game. It starts off like Jak
and Daxter the Precursor Legacy. However that changes later down the
road. You start off platforming and eventually, you get guns! GUNS FOR
CRYING OUT LOUD! Wasn't this game rated E last time? Now it is rated T.
Go figure. Anyway, I kind of liked this touch. It gave Jak 2 the
maturity it needed. Another cool thing is the way the story advances.
Instead of collecting your precursor orbs and going to the next area,
Jak 2 is mission based. Meaning you can have 2 missions that advance the
story. If you do one of them, you advance part of the story, leaving
the other part of the story to advance later. I love this. Makes me feel
like I always have something to do besides do that stupid gun range,
and run over random civilians that do not know how to duck. Oh yeah that
is right. There is now aircraft in Jak 2 which lets you get around
quicker. Now be warned. It is very hard to control, but once you get a
hang of it, it is easy to control.

The graphics and sound
seem the same as Jak and Daxter the Precursor legacy, if not a little
better. But it is not enough to notice. If you have not read my first
one and want to hear my opinion and review on its sound and graphics, it
is pretty much the same, so let me paste it here.
Next is the graphics of the game. Even though the game was made in

the 2000's and needs that cartoon like texture, I still think they could

have done a better job. The game looks pretty good and has no frame

rate lag at all.

Which is kind of sad when the game has less quality

than the cut scenes.

is not terrible either. If anything, like the graphics, the sound is

sub-par. Although, the music is very invigorating and electrifying. I

have never had a game pump me up during a boss fight at the time or even

just walking around. Some of the soundtrack is quite soothing at times,

and quite energetic at others.
Well there you go. The same thing.

The
games addictiveness and depth is pretty high. I never imagined a Jak
game to be pretty addicting. There is just so much to do! From
collecting the well hidden precursor orbs, to getting all the missions
completed, until you be the game, it will make you come back for more
and more every time you put the controller down.

Now let us
talk about the story! The story is very well done. There are like I
said, missions instead of quests and favors, and a lot more cut scenes.
It truly is a pretty good game if you are going for the story. To keep
it spoiler free so you can enjoy the game yourself, that is all I will
say about the story.

The difficulty in this game is just as
hard as the first one. Now do not be fooled. Just because you have eight
pieces of health, does not mean you have 8 hit points. Some enemies hit
for 3 hp. Some for 2, and the rest for 1 hp. See what I mean? IT IS THE
SAME IF NOT WORSE THAN JAK AND DAXTER THE PRECURSOR LEGACY! Like I said
before. That is the only reason the game is so hard!

In conclusion I rated Jak 2 8 overall.

Jak 3

The gameplay of Jak 3 has changed dramatically. It is more of a third person shooter, and racing game than it is a plat former. Most of the elements in the previous Jak games are still in Jak 3. There are a few new features, which only one I am going to talk about due to spoilers. Like I said it is more of a racing type of game. Most of the missions are based in a vehicle. I do not have a problem with this, considering I loved Jak X and love racing games in general.

The graphics and sound in Jak 3 are the same as Jak 2 but a little better. The best part for all three games though, is that you do not have a single loading screen. Thank goodness, considering how many times you go to a different area. Even though the graphics are not amazing it still is kicking butt in how good it looks, especially for a ps vita game.

The addictiveness and depth of Jak 3 is around the same as Jak 2. Only problem is, Jak 3 is very short. I sped run 100% of the game in 3 hours and 2 minutes. Where as Jak 2 took me 10+ hours just to get 50%.

The story is even more awesome than Jak 2. There is a lot more to take in, and a lot going on. And the best part is that you are 90% of the time in action. How cool is that? I hate playing games, that have no action. Jak 3 is truly an epic game when it comes to story.

Of course. The difficulty. It is still hard. But not as hard as Jak and Daxter the Precursor Legacy, and Jak 2. It is actually quite easier than both of them. Phew. Thank goodness. And no I am not joking. That is just how I see it. Plus, once you are a pro at the first two games, you will automatically breeze through Jak 3.
Overall, my rating of Jak 3, is a solid 9.

Well there you have it. My overall rating of the HD Collection of Jak and Daxter, is an 8. There is not much change put into each game at least on the Vita version. Thank you for reading my review, and as always I will see you, in the next review.

Just curious: did you copy/paste from a Word document? If so consider using the appropriate function next time as those shorts paragraphs are tedious to read.

For the review now... the structure is good but it's a copy/paste from a previous review you wrote so I can't give it a high result. That's unfortunate because the review in itself was decent.

janus : Yes I copy and pasted Jak 1 and 2 because I just wanted to throw it together. There honestly is not much of a difference in the PS Vita version compared to the ps2 version of jack 1 2 and 3. So I decided to copy and paste making it long and not less than 300 words because like I said, there is not much of a change. Hope you understand where I am coming from.

I did understand why you did it, but that's no excuse. When I reviewed Final Fantasy Anthology and Final Fantasy Chronicles, I only focused on the main differences, making the review shorter than fully reviewing all four games.

DestinyHeroDC : Believe me, I know

Just take my comments as free advice. Do be careful with reviews; I do not know if anyone ever got banned over copying/pasting their own reviews but it might play against you.
