These are some rough numbers off an article I just saw on yahoo, figure I would post it here just to give you a heads up of expenses I'm sure you can manage to get cheaper then that considering how good you are at optimization lol. Daycare is also extremely expensive is your wife going to be stay at home wife or I guess your going to stay home Either way, that will save you a ton if any of you stay at home.

We don't plan to send our kid to daycare, I'll always be working from home so I'll take care of the kid if my wife does go back to work but I'm really hoping that's not the case, I'll pick up another job on top of vizzed if I have to, I just feel it's so important for the baby to get tons of attention from the mother, hopefully my wife can always be a stay at home mom.

Also, even if our daughter did cost that much, it'd be worth it.

yeah, I think you need to realize that you have to factor in the parents that spend like complete idiots when it comes to their kids.

You can spend $25 on brand new kids clothes, or buy things second hand that have been worn twice for $4. Huge cut in cost right there.

My wife also boiled and blended a bunch of vegetables for baby food when Gabby started solids. That saves a bunch of money too.

So, $250,000 is what people spend who don't know how save money. Or earn enough because both parents are working that they don't care.
