Yesterday my computer asked me if I wanted to install a newer version of Windows 8 called 8.1. I went ahead and installed it thinking it would bring good updates, but now my RGR Plugin doesn't work at all. I've tried re-installing it, repairing it, uninstalling then installing again and nothing works. Please help--thanks!

I actually have a request. I was wondering if someone could make a full English translation for the animal forest game. It's getting annoying and I can't read Japanese. I'll be very happy if someone could do that

UltIMa647 : There aren't too many people here that program on the site, let alone speak Japanese as well as English...in a manner well enough to translate.

Your best bet would be to find a translated version of the game you are requesting, then post in this thread https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=35277 and ask tRIUNE nicely if he would add it.

kramer4077 : Sounds like the new version of windows may not be compatible with the plugin. Outside of downgrading back to the previous version of windows, I'm not sure there's much you can do except wait for an updated version of the plugin.

Jordanv78 : Thanks for your response. Do you know how to downgrade back to the Windows 8 version? I tried looking for a restore point and only 1 shows up and that's to a point from yesterday before I uninstalled the RGR plugin but after I got Windows 8.1. Do you know any other way? Is David aware of the newer version? Thanks for any help you can give

I'm having a weird error that I don't think is related to this update considering I joined Vizzed WAY after it. I joined this past Summer I do believe, and I have been playing an assortment of games from Paper Mario to Advance Wars to Golden Sun. I even still have all of my save and game data on my computer. It's been maybe a week or two since I last played, which was Advance Wars I think, and all of a sudden the games all say "Plugin not found." What's weird about this is I haven't had any computer update in those two weeks. I'm running Windows 7 Home Edition, and when I encountered this problem, the first thing I did was go to the first post in this thread and I chose to "Repair" the plugin. I found that didn't work, so then to be safe, I went to the other link available and reinstalled the VC++ and restarted my computer. On startup, I got a notification that an Adobe Flashplayer Update was available, so I downloaded it, then I proceeded to go through the Start Menu to uninstall the plugin, and reinstall it with the .msi on my desktop from the initial post. I restarted my computer after the reinstall and still, every game says it cannot find the plugin. I know this really can't be associated with the plugin update, but this is the most relevant post. Any suggestions?



Edit: And I'm using Internet Explorer 11
Final Edit: I just downloaded Firefox and much to my chagrin it works perfectly on that web browser, so there must be a problem with IE 11 communicating with or locating the plugin. I'll continue to use FF just for Vizzed.

what is the latest vizzed rgr plug in? i am using 2.00 version is there any newer version than it? 

In my experiences I haven't gotten a single virus because of this, don' t worry it's safe.

Spystrike : Firefox and Chrome work best for playing games with the plugin. If you HAVE to use IE, you need to add Vizzed.com to your trusted sites.

I just upgraded to the 2.0 version of the plugin but..*sniffle, whine, sob* It says each time I try to play a game that it can't find the plugin and I still need to download it..but I just did...help meh!

Tigerstripes1991 : uninstall and reinstall, if that doesnt work just system restore to the day you downloaded the upgrade.

what dose it mean when you uninstall the plugin and it says rom data will be lost

Sounds like you guys are using the new update of Windows 8 and/or the latest Internet Explorer. My suggestion would be to try and use Chrome and see if you have different results. Chrome and Firefox usually work best for playing games in the RGR.


DHGoolsby : I guess I don't know what you mean by "Your account is reset when logged off" Do you mean you can't find your saves, or something else?

So their is no possible way to get RGR or any type of download like that to play the games that require it if you're on a Mac?

I'm using windows 7.
