clearpikmin : Unfortunately the N64 controls cannot be changed with Mupen64 while using the RGR Plugin. They can only be changed with the 1964 emulator.

geeogree : I have Google Chrome and it seems to work well for me, haven't had much of  a problem so far. It may be your computer specifically.

trying to get the most recent version of RGR plugin but when i try to find it on here i always get a 404 error like something on vizzed end is stopping it and when i try to delete old one  to put a new one it tells me that it couldnt finish uninstalling it because i have to tell people from vizzed  whats going on i had a rgr that worked now i come back and it dont work again ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I downloaded the FLV file, twice and every time I go to load a game it says the plugin cannot be found. I am using the Google Chrome browser and my computer is compatible with it.

ianemoon : The RGR Plugin doesn't contain FLV files though - you clicked on an ad probably?

Alright...so I just downloaded the new plugin (1.7) and even made sure to uninstall the plugin before this new one before doing so..and I'm still having the same problem as before. Most of the games I play, whenever I try to save the game an error message pops up (same when I exit the game after trying to save) and the game doesn't save.

Also..I tried to get this problem fixed when it first came up for me a while back...and at first it seemed like I was going to be helped...but after a few failed attempts at trying to resolve the issue, I was dropped from being helped

pangtongshu : What is the error message that you receive when trying to save? What browser are you using? Also, I know you said you installed the RGR, but it almost seems like the RGR is having a hard time saving to the directory the RGR is installed in(Since the current version stores save files on your PC and not on the server)

It would be great if it has Sega CD on the plug in.

Two questions:
1: What is the directory for the local saves?
2: Are usb controllers supported? I rather assumed they would be, since the controls setup says "joypad configuration", but I'm not getting a response when I try to set any controller button/dpad/whatever in the configuration. Thanks!

Davideo7 : I have the same problem. I used to download it fine but I uninstalled it once. So when I installed again, it says error: C:Progam FilesVizzed and then it cancels the installation. I am logged in as an administrator. I am Windows XP

I get a message saying;



"The cabinet file '_1B7DEC15016A418815675E11308DE080' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package"



about halfway through my installation. Anyone else having this problem or am I just really, really dumb?

1) The save directory is as follows:

Open Start Menu > All Programs > Vizzed Retro Game Room > Open Plugin Data Folder > User-"your ID number here" (which is 164391). Then you'll open the folder for the game system.

N64 using 1964: 1964 > Save
NES & FDS: FCEUX > sav
GBA & GBC & GB: VBA > Saves
Genesis & 32X: Gens > Saves
SNES: ZSNES > Saves
TG & AL & NGP & NGPC & WS & WSC & SGFX: Mednafen > sav

Etc.

2) Which controller are you using and have you already tested and calibrated it?

SuperGameBoy1 : That was actually an emulator issue with 1964. Play it now with Mupen64 on the page and it won't have that error.

Davideo7 : The problem that LJNights and Deestracted in the last 2 posts are having with installation could be a windows installer error - in which I could list about 5 solutions, but I don't think this is the case. I vaguely remember you fixing this problem a while ago with one of the Plugin updates. Do you know what the problem is?

Save states are still saved local only? Although if the save states could still be uploaded to the server, I would be way beyond happy like if I were to beat another NES game on my NES console. (I have only beaten 3 NES games, I don't think I could beat more games on the NES, though.)
