Davideo7 : Trying to Remove it says it has a problem with the installer; trying to Repair it says 'the specified account already exists'. Any suggestions?

I have downloaded the main vizzed plug in, the first link... and one of the mirrors as well.  Both times, it has told me that the installation was successful however when I attempt to play a game, it says I do not have the plug in installed...  Any ideas on a fix for this

I've uninstalled the plugin (2.0), reinstalled it, restarted the browser, and repeated this process several times without success of Firefox detecting the plug in, but i had no problems a few months ago.  Please help, thank you.

Davideo7 : I just got a chromebook and was using it to connect to my tv (40 inch!) via hdmi. However, this chromebook does not seem to take the vizzed plugin or any other type of thing I try to download. Do you have a version for the Chrome?
 

Edit: Nevermind, I saw the OS that it supports....sigh, those games would look epic on here! 

Davideo7 : I was wondering about the N64 settings. For most games it says you can double-click to open a menu, but it won't work. I also tried pressing esc but it didn't work either. Is there actually a way to open up settings in an N64 game?

Hey David thank you very much for the recent update to the plugin, I was wondering would it be possible to choose what gamepad plugin we can use because at the moment it is only using a Direct input plugin which is a bit of bad new for people who use Xinput devices it dont work with them. Also Direct input is becoming a bit of a thing of the pass now and Microsoft is slowly trying to phase it out.

Question: Is it possible to install the plugin to a 32gb flash drive without leaving any trace on the C: drive? I'm trying to play retro games on the computer at work because I'm #naughty.

No Because anytime you download and a play a rom they get stored in the C: ProgramDataVizzedpluginVizzedrgrplugin. That can not be changed regardless of were you install the main plugin.

dragonslayer444 : I seem to be able to play by copying over my ..ProgramDataVizzed* folder from my home computer on my flash drive, and copying that into the respective folder on the computer at work, then I just delete the contents before I leave for the night, in case corporate does a remote scan overnight. The only downside is a 12-minute wait for the files to copy over each day, then another 12-minutes at night so I can have my latest save file at home, and I was just looking for a way to avoid that wait time.

So I don't know if it's just a glitch or if this is the way the plugin is now, but it won't let me go in to change the controls and see the menu, all it does when I double click is start putting me through an auto control change for the basics. It doesn't let me change the speed button or anything else (which I am quite fond of the speed button... just saying... just has to be in the right spot) Is there anything I can do on my end or is that just how the plugin works now?

I'm really sorry to bother... but I'm using windows 8.1 and I've tried all your suggestions, none of them seem to work. Anything I can do? Davideo7:

Davideo7 : I've downloaded the new plugin about a week ago and was wondering why every time I start a game my computer freezes for about 5 seconds and then the screen flashes black for about 1 second.  That seems to be it but I was wondering if I should be worried.  Other than that I am loving the new features on the plugin thank you for them.  

Is there a Linux native version? I've recently been using Ubuntu and have managed to get it working using wine and Firefox for Windows in wine, but having to open up another browser just to come here and play some games gets a bit annoying.

jerry.ferguson : If you are using a windows, this is because your computer is changing the color scheme to Windows 7 basic. (or 8 depending on what you have). This is no problem as it does revert back, it is just something your computer has to do in order to run most of the games.

hello, i'm bad with computers and need help using a controller, can somebody give me some detailed instructions?

Davideo7: Here we go again. I am having the same exact problem I did about 10 months ago when I used Internet Explorer.

I am now using the latest updated version of Firefox and also downloaded and installed latest RGR Plugin ( update 2.12 ). When it first became available, it was working just fine and now all of the sudden it says I do not have the latest version installed. I tried uninstalling and downloading the 2.12 version again, restarted everything and still nothing. Then, uninstalled it ( again ) and downloaded the 2.12 mirror download, restarted everything, and still nothing. I fear now that people will tell me to start using a different web browser ( which is exactly what everyone told me to do when this happened on IE ) but that is not what I will do if that is the only solution. There has to be something else wrong here. I thought that Firefox was the best browser to use anyway when using the RGR.

I am double and triple checking everything to make sure that all is up to date and that there is nothing that is blocking the RGR from operating. Hopefully this problem will soon be resolved.
