Save states are still saved local only? Although if the save states could still be uploaded to the server, I would be way beyond happy like if I were to beat another NES game on my NES console. (I have only beaten 3 NES games, I don't think I could beat more games on the NES, though.)

Every time I play a game via the plugin the ROM works fine then the emu config Starts and after that I get "failed to download config"
And it is like this on every game

Did you try closing your browser after you downloaded it? Because you'll have to restart the browser first.


And will there ever be a plugin to use for the site for Mac? If there already is, can someone point me in the right direction.

Likki : Are you still having this problem? If so follow these instructions:


1. Restart your Internet Browser; simply close out of it and open it back up
2. Uninstall and than Reinstall the Vizzed RGR Plugin
3. Try restarting your computer
4. Make sure not to load the applet in both IE and FF, if you previously loaded it in one, you may have to close that browser before trying to load it in another
5. Be sure you have the most recent version of Vizzed RGR Plugin
6. Try a different game (might just be the game)
7. Try using a different internet browser, your current may not be supported (Firefox and Chrome work best with the plugin)
8. Be sure your computer is up to date

RGR Plugin ONLY works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It does NOT work on a Mac.

I'm having a problem with the plug in. It downloaded fine, and even runs fine. But when I get to play a game it's like the game is constantly pressing down directional buttons, and I cannot move. I tried turning off the arrow keys to switch them with another to see if it would work and I have had no success. Help?

Petercashman01 : Does this happen for all emulators, or just one?

If it's only one, You can either do two things. Uninstall, then re-install the plugin. Make sure the browser is closed while installing.

Then use either Chrome or Firefox to test a game.

Or you could just try to delete the input file from the Vizzed directory on your hard drive. Go to Start Menu > All Programs > Vizzed Retro Game Room > Open Plugin Data Folder > User(number) > (emulator you are trying to fix). Look for the .cfg file and delete it.

If the error is referring to tells youre missing VC++ Runtime, you'll need to install that first. You can download it here:

Use Firefox or Chrome those browsers work best. Program is not compatible with Mac.

Also, I tried un-installing the plug in many times, browser closed. I've tried resetting my computer, no luck. (I use chrome)
I cannot find the file you suggested either. I have start > all programs > vizzed retro game room > open plug in data folder > user (numbers) > VBA and VBA -hsmode ? Neither of which leads me to emulators. I tried making folders for my emulators rather than the WIN RAR ZIP they were in, still nothing.

Petercashman01 : There's no reason to go creating folders in the directory. In the VBA file there should be a config file...did you not see it? The reason I had you follow those directions is because I wanted you to delete the config file which saves the controls that are set up.

I have heard of this happening with GBA games where certain users are having issues with the controls getting "Stuck" but I have never heard of this happening with all emulators. Are you positive this happens on a game like this? http://www.vizzed.com/play/legend-of-zelda-nes-online-nintendo-nes-748-game

It would also help me if you could post a screenshot of what your controller config menu looks like when it pops up.

Jordanv78 : The link you sent worked actually, I didn't even realize the other games I tried were also a GBA games ._.

I ended up fixing the the problem anyway. When I enter the key set up in game for GBA games, it will deletes the key set up for what is selected, but if I hold the button I want to set up it works if I click another one? I cannot set arrow keys though, I just set them all to WASD. Weird, but whatever. Thank you for the support though

Make sure that you are suing Chrome or Firefox. Those browsers work best with the plugin.
