I had a thought Davideo, maybe you could create and app on chrome web store to run the plugin and play the games at that point more operating systems can be used.
And, there's a Linux emulator called vba-m, or vbam that runs the gb, gbc, and gba that is free and is same (more or less) as vba

I got a computer virus almost immediately after downloading this and had to do system restore to bring it back to normal, so I have to download it again now. I've used the plugin before, so I know you guys aren't trying to bug me, but I'd like to know what might have caused that and if there's anything I can do to prevent it from happening again.

DocRetro : Perhaps get a better antivirus software.

omgcookies22 : The vizzed rgr plugin only works on vizzed.

djboch102393 : the plugin is not compatible with mac, only windows 7, vista, and xp.

Makky : some n64 games will have this happen if the the video plugin that game is using is incompatible with your graphic card.

corinna : probably not. it will be too expensive to develop.

Bluebandits : does the installer package have any error messages pertaining to why it won't install? have you tried another browser?

It isn't vizzed that is blocking tor, but tor that is blocking the RGR plugin, I think. I'm using Tor right now to access vizzed. but when I download the rgr plugin, it goes onto firefox but not Torbrowser. Is there anyone using Tor that is able to use the RGR plugin?

Scarlettt : I misunderstood - try opening the link to download in a new tab with the torbutton disabled. That work?

edit- you can enable plugins by going into the Torbutton Preferences->Security Settings->Dynamic Content tab and unchecking "Disable plugins during Tor usage" box. There's some info about this in the FAQ here:

kipani917 : I know of two things for now that you can try.

Method 1
Unregister Windows Installer, and then reregister Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the Start menu, click Run.

2. In the Open box, type msiexec /unreg, and then press Enter.

3. On the Start menu, click Run.

4. In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver, and then press Enter.

Method 2
Check permissions within the Installer folder. To do this, follow these steps.

1. Click on Start and in the Start Search bar type in c: /windows/installer.
2. Right click on c: /windows/installer at the top under programs and click properties.
3. Click on the security tab, verify if System and Administrator account has Full access permissions.
4. The Everyone account should have read and execute permissions, List Folder Contents, and Read.
