I'm still having the same issues with Majora's Mask as I had with the old version of the plug in. You can't see anything when you try to play & the browser crashes when you close the emulator no matter what button you press & continues to crash the browser unless you close it before the game loads. I use Firefox 3.6. I don't think it's a browser problem though. I still think it's an issue with the expansion pak.

Yeah I forgot to mention that some games require different video plugins to work, which means I'll have to have someone test out every game and figure out which plugin each game needs to play perfectly. So a fix is on the way for games that don't work and the fix will not require another download.

Ok, cool. I bet you couldn't tell I'm anxious to play Majora's Mask.

EDIT: I tried Pokémon Leaf Green because I was curious about the 1M circuit t hing. It's still there but when I clicked the close button, I got this tip:

TIP: All plugin games support native saving which means you must save within the game itself to save. SNES games allow for save states anywhere.

I'm not sure if the N64 games have save states but I know the GBA games do so I think this should be updated at some point.

I just fixed it, or at least it's fixed for me. I substituted the default video plugin with a different one. Let me know if it works now.

Nothing at all this time. Before, I could at least see the N64 logo float across the screen & the menu screen where you selected which file you wanted to play but now I can't even see those. Which browser are you using?

I'm using Firefox. Did you give it a few seconds to load? Give it like 30 seconds.

Restart your browser or try a different browser. Worked fine for me

Do you have an outdated graphic card on your computer?

Still nothing. I'm actually running an onboard chipset right now. It's an Intel GMA 3100. I should hopefully be getting a dedicated video card sometime this weekend though.

EDIT: IE gave me the same problem. It may be my lack of a real video card but the beta version of the plug in worked alright.

The game didn't play but I could see the N64 logo & the menu screen where you picked which file to play when I used the beta plug in. Now I can't see anything.

EDIT: I also tried OoT & Megaman 64. Megaman 64 doesn't load just like it didn't load in the beta & I gave it a couple of minutes. OoT works fine so I doubt my video has anything to do with it. I'm not sure what the issue could be though.

EDIT EDIT: I just tried to play Metroid Fusion on the GBA & the save states I had in the beta no longer exist in this full version. The actual saves in the game are still there, just not the save states. I couldn't even make a new save state unless you have to access the save states in a different way other than shift + an F button.

Saved states aren't currently supported. They were never meant to be used in the previous release. I just hadn't yet gotten around to removing the keyboard shortcuts that mapped to things like state saving / loading. Saved states may be added in a future version.

Megaman 64 works fine for me. What do you see on your screen? Just gray? Black? Vizzed loading screen?

Not all games will be able to be fixed. Some will get a little improvement, some a lot, others none. At least the addition of other plugins to 1.0 will be good news for the games it helps.

It's just black. That's all I see with Majora's Mask & Megaman 64 but at least with MM, I can hear the sound. Megaman 64 does nothing.

EDIT: There's a comment in the Majora's Mask chat box where someone appears to be having the same problems I have & they too have the new version of the plug in.

Yeah. I just resetted and it played again. But now I have another problem.

When I start some new games. By downloading them. They downloaded. They're playing but the Gray screen won't go away. I just clicked the Reset button. And then. The game brought me to an ''Popular Screensavers'' site..

I've tried resetting it but I still get the same black screen. surely it can't be a video issue. I can play Ocarina of Time just fine. I know that game doesn't require the expansion pak but neither does Megaman 64 & I'm having the same issues as I am with Majora's Mask. Is it something on my end though? I know some people have been able to play it.

Surgiac: I kinda think it is your video card though, maybe you could download the offline version of the emulator and try that out to see if it works?
