Since I did reviews for both Five Nights at Freddy's and Five Nights at Freddy's 3, it would only make sense for me to make a review for the second game, right? Also adding the fact that there has not been a review for this game yet. Anyways, let's get started! Five Nights at Freddy's 2 was released in November 2014 on Steam, shortly after the first Five Nights at Freddy's. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 brings many new concepts to the series, while also keeping some of the old concepts. With that being said, let's jump right into the review and find out just what kinds of concepts I'm talking about.

Graphics - 9
The graphics in this game are very nice and polished just like the 1st game. It's looks almost as if they were real animatronics. I say it's so polished, that you can see reflections on some of the animatronic's parts. For example, take the Puppet. If you look closely inside of it, you can see a sort of reflection off of it. I love it, and it just adds more reality to the gameplay and looks of this game.

Sound - 10
Like the other 2 Five Nights at Freddy's games, this game is highly based around the sounds that the animatronics make. This is vital to know which sounds are which, in that it tells you if the animatronics are near or far. Another important aspect the sound has in this game is the horror factor it delivers to you. I said it before, and I'll say it again, the ambiance this game has is magnificent. I honestly find it to be the best in the series so far.

Addictiveness - 9
Like the other 2 games, (again) this game can get really addicting. It's like you have the will to beat it just so you can brag about it to your friends who also love this series. I remember this one time at school where one of my friends was stuck on Night 5, and I told him, "Oh, night 5? Yeah, I already beat Night 6." It just feels so satisfying to tell your friends where you're at in a game, and Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is no exception.

Story - 10
The story in this game is the story that raised the most questions out of the entire series so far. And I absolutely love it. The main story is this. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has reopened after being closed down for a bit. However, a terrible event happens here. 5 children have gone missing, and the resturant starts to get a bad reputation. At the end of the restuarant's life, another terrible event happens called The Bite of '87. Keep in mind, this is a prequel to the first game, so this clears it up.

Depth - 8
This game has much more to do than in the first game. For example, Custom Night, or Night 7, makes a return. The only difference is that there are pre-set modes that you can play, and beating each mode gets you a plushie or action figure for your desk. There are plenty of modes to play, and each will need plenty of practice before finally beating them. And of course, the famous 20 mode comes back, but instead with 4 animatronics, it's 10. Good luck.

Difficulty - 8
If you don't know what you're doing, than you're going to have a bad time in this game. This is the case for the other 2 Five Nights at Freddy's games. If you don't know the aspects of how to do things in the game correctly with a good strategy, then you're probably going to die. Also, the difficulty varies on Night 7 depending on what custom setting you set the animatronics to.

Overall - 9.5
Five Nights at Freddy's 2 has got to be my favorite game in the series as of right now. And there are plenty of good reasons why. The easter eggs, the theories, the horror, everything. Scott Cawthon has made a wonderful series with a (sort of) wonderful fanbase and following.  I don't suspect this game dieing down anytime soon, and I expect to see at least one more Five Nights at Freddy's game sometime next year. Thanks for reading this review!

That's a very good review. You structured it well, you gave plenty of comparison to previous games of the series and you keep to the point. It's a little short (it's just me ) but it's nevertheless worthy of a 4 (sorry, they don't do 4.5).

LunarDarkness2 : Excellent review! You put a lot of details in each section. I agree with you on the sound, it's good to know when the animatronics are nearby or far. Keep up the good work!

I can honestly say I completely agree with your review and score of the game. The game is hard but not too hard. Very fun and has cool graphics. Though I have not played it myself, I have seen Markiplier play it and I love all three of them.
