Ooh, thank you for the links! I have a friend who is into Earthbound/Mother, and she'll be really pleased to know about this. Since she's not babbled at me about it, I'm pretty sure she doesn't know yet. She would have already squealed at me and started linking me to videos and sites and such if she had, trying to get me into Mother again, though I've just not had inclination to try it yet. She will really appreciate this, though, I think, so thank you for making this post!

While I only ever played Mother 3 (Still need to finish that), Mother 4 has me kind of hyped. It's free, which is a plus, and from what I've heard of the music, it's good too!
Now to just see how the story is.

   I'm in the same boat as Gamin'gal, having only played Mother 3, but I'm pretty excited for Mother 4. The look of the game is great, and you can tell just by looking at the trailer how much time, love and effort was put into it. Ever since I first saw the trailer, I've been hyped up for its release, so I'm hoping that the development team comes through for all the fans who have wanted this for so long.

Oh my! This is extremely exciting! I've played both Earthbound and Mother 3 so I know quite a bit about the series. I'm glad someone's deciding to make a new fan game since Nintendo doesn't seem to care about the series anymore... I'd love to be able to play it when it's completed.

Considering the huge amount of time and effort put into the game though I'm sure its going to be fantastic. Looks a lot different than what the early screen shots of the game showed off too and while I thought the early screen shots looked great this is certainly a lot better in overall polish.

I'm glad everyone's interested in Mother 4(and glad to know this hasn't been posted yet)! 


I'd like to add, if no one noticed, that at the end where they all level up at 3:08, each character has an individual level up theme respectively.  If multiple characters level up, the character's level up themes sync up for a nice melody.


That's a really cool feature they added, and I'm really hyped for this!

From what I saw on the blog, they will have a bit of a hiatus until 2016 since they are visiting their friends and family.
So until then, we have to wait cause it might come around 2017 or 2016. I can't blame them though, we can't force them to work that hard on it
since they're just regular people working on some grand game for all of us to enjoy.
