EideticMemory : thanks! I was rather surprised that I was able to get an early lead. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep it very long though since this is a month long competition.

thing1 : We already done that (well, something very similar) back in January 2014's TdV, so we won't be doing that again. We'll figure something out.

VizzedGuy111 : Daily posts as in the average number of posts each day? That can range anywhere between 300 - 500 depending on the month.

Yunimori : Nice, congrats on getting the Yellow but also on getting the lead for the White banner, I can defiantly see you winning that one.

Honestly, this was the toughest first day of TDV I have personally seen, lots of early competition.

thing1 : I don't think we will be doing a team competition this month, mostly because the staff can't really think of a good team competition this month with short notice, and all the ones we thought of sounds like a bad idea to have. But we may do one in July

zanderlex : ...would you believe me if I told you the day was more than half over before I even knew the TDV was going on? I just kept finding interesting things I wanted to post in, I wasn't even paying attention. I kind of feel like it was unfair that I got it since I wasn't TRYING until long after the halfway mark.

Yunimori : Oh, so towards the end of the day you did start trying to compete? That's cool. Get a couple of points every single day here and there and you should walk away with a cool white username for the month. I think you can do it, I'll be cheering for you to make it.

zanderlex : Yeah, towards the end, when I actually noticed what was going on. I went to the stats page thing and saw that I was pretty up there, so I figured I might as well start actively trying then, just to see what would happen?  I didn't expect to get the jersey for today, that's for definite. Didn't expect the white banner, either. Thanks for the advice, though, I'm going to keep trying! This seems like a lot of fun, and it's bringing the neat and interesting threads out of the woodwork, which I like. Even if I don't post I like to read them. XD

I've been waiting for TdV for what seems like forever. I'm so glad it's back, and I hope it's going to be as great, possibly even better then the last TdV. Like I said above, I plan on getting the blue jersey tomorrow, using the same tactic I used last TdV to get my first blue jersey. That tactic also unintentionally gave me the yellow jersey as well, so that was a surprise. I wish everyone good luck!

Why an enemy? I don't consider you one. I'm not really all that competitive, so if I get something this month, cool! If not, that's fine too. I don't think it's an 'enemy' thing, unless you were just being jokey? Sorry if that's the case. I miss text-jokes about 3/4 of the time.

Yesterday was a pretty intense start to this TdV. I had no idea what to expect.

IgorBird122 : There's going to be some point where there aren't any new good ideas left for the team competition, and since it's something that a lot of users want, the staff can re-use older ideas (and maybe even expand upon them to make them more interesting).

And that wasn't an easy accomplishment! Although I had a pretty comfortable advance for the blue jersey, I nearly missed the yellow one. Yunimori is a very fierce competitor and her posts are always of the highest quality, with detailed, well-written answers. Let's see if I can beat her twice in a row, because she had the better over me on the 1!

janus : I feel so left out right now. Ha, just kidding. I better start posting more, because you're about to catch up to me. I may even get enough points that I might get my name mentioned in tomorrow's thread title. But, I doubt that will happen. Anyways, good luck on trying to pass me!

LunarDarkness2 : Because I'm on the East Coast, I think I will never get the red jersey. I would have to stay up to 1:00 a.m. in order to make sure to win it and I'm not THAT desperate to get the jerseys. I prefer focusing on the Yellow and Blue, which are easier to get for me.

Besides, I won't be competing every day (especially not on the weekend) so feel free to catch up
