Five days to go, and we still have some serious business ahead.

Ferdinand clinched green long ago, but he's now on the run to break the most points for a jersey. Five more first place finishes and we will have a new record.

Red still has a lot of fight, with 8 points between first and third. This jersey will surely be a close call, no matter whoever wins it.

Yellow can still have some fight as well, everything depends on how janus will dose his advantage. 12 points in five days is a perfectly climbable wall for zander.

It will be very interesting to see how these battles unfold. Also, Ferdinand still has his chances of finishing second instead of equalling his third place obtained in the last TdV. The countdown has begun!

EX Palen : Dang, until you said that I hadn't even realized that I finished third last time. Maybe if I really score serious points and someone has internet issues I could still do it.  I have to watch basketball this afternoon though, so we'll see. After today my team may be eliminated so I can't miss it. :/ Go Bucks!

The competition between 1st and 3rd place for the rainbow banner has been pretty interesting. That's typical for a TdV

Ferdinand : You're pretty close to janus and it's been that way for a while, so I think you can do it if you keep scoring so high in the green jersey

EX Palen : Honestly, if I can keep the lead for rainbow the rest of the way, I would prefer to let janus keep Yellow not only because he deserves it, but also because if I can win Red and keep Blue, then I'd rather have just that combination and not add Yellow to it because it would be a mess and it would be a waste having 3.

Janus scored I believe 2 more points than I did, but that actually put him further behind me than before because now he would need to score 6 points MORE than me every single day.

I'll see if I can get a couple of points so I can be able to make an even 550 total points on my end (or 560 if I feel like it).

Enough about me, It looks like it's a 3-way race between Zander, Janus, and Fern. Since Fern mostly focuses on Red and Greed, I don't think he'll get the win, so it will more likely be Zander or Janus winning it this month. Although it isn't as tight than Summer 2014 and Winter 2015 was when we figure out the winner in the last day of competition. But still worth to watch though.

It's not much of a "3-way race".

Zander has a lead of 34, with 6 TDV days to go.

As has been said, janus OR Ferdinand would have to average 6 points more than Zander over the last few days to beat him, which means all Zander has to do is finish 1 spot behind them in each jersey, and stay close enough to avoid the 7 point rule.

With Zander unlikely to stop competing entirely (he badly wants to win, it appears), this means the only way for either to catch up to Zander, is this:

They must not only win, each day, but win CONVINCINGLY in their jerseys. For example, Ferdinand would need to activate the 7 point rule, potentially a few times, on the Red and Green, and janus would need to activate the 7 point rule on the Yellow jersey, minimum.

And it's most likely for janus to be the one to beat zanderlex, due to his competition in each jersey (janus is top 3 in 3 jerseys, Ferdinand has only competed in 2, though he's winning both).

All Zander needs to do is "not disappear", and he's basically won the TDV. Especially given his motivation.

The Bucks just won over the Bulls 92-90 so I don't care. Seriously, I'll be happy for another third place finish, but I'm not going to quit doing my pictures, videos, and other junk as long as I'm having fun with it. I even made a friend so far so hey. Good deal.

legacyme3 : Sorry man, but it had been nearly 5 years and I think 9 straight playoff losses for me. And we REALLY HATE the Bulls and their fans when they invade our arena. So, if that's any consolation for you my best friend and I had a much overdue high-five afterwards.

I can't believe I'm placing at the top 3 for Blue with less than four hours to finish the day. It would be awesome to get points in Blue for the first time ever, but due to the timezone difference, I can't stay awake any longer and most probably than not I will get passed.

Going to sleep with the lead in yellow and red. Will my username have any background color tomorrow morning? Hopefully I can get at least red, it's everything I want. Anything else is just the consequence of aiming for red.

Well, I've finally made it to 150 points. I guess that's something to be happy about. My main goal coming into this TDV was placing in the top 5. At this point, I think it's safe to assume I'll probably stay in 4th.

Well, for somehow, someway, I manage to get a point in green and I wasn't even trying for it, I was mostly upping my CPs a tiny bit.

I highly doubt I still have a shot at the rainbow banner. I've been too busy so I couldn't prepare many reviews/guides in advance.

However I do believe in my chances for the yellow jersey. I just need to have enough inspiration to write enough words... hoping that Zanderlex won't come last minute and get it out of my hands! But if he does it's fairplay; I guess he can spare more time than I do.

Does anyone know what happened to Yunimori? I haven't seen her post in a while. But hey, at least she's winning the white banner with no competition whatsoever.

janus : yeah, I've been wondering about Yunimori as well. She was doing so well earlier in the competition and now she seems to have disappeared. I hope she's doing alright.

janus : You're going to have to start working on the Yellow now then. You just need to make sure that I dont score more than a few more points than you each day, though 1 or 2 would still get you to win. I care mostly for getting the combo of Red and Blue after rainbow, so I was kind of hoping you would get more Yellow points.
