EX Palen : When you're talking about making that amount of posts and words in a day, you will get those numbers a few times regardless of the month because its all bases on consistency and who is posting.

A few users go all out for blue to win for the first couple of days and they can't go all out forever, they will run out of places to post and if enough people go all out, enough people will burn our as well and won't be able to post a lot. That's going to happen all the time, its not just this tdv, heck, the day I broke the post record I could only really post in eliminations and hangman threads for almost a whole month because of that.

I'm pretty sure I've sen at least one day where the blue winner had less than 10 posts and the yellow winner had less than 1500 words at least once in each of the last 4 tdvs.

legacyme3 : I made 2 500+ worded posts unintentionally yesterday, and look where I got in yellow. I would have had 3rd is zanderlex hasn't of ninja'd it in the last 5 minutes or so. It just a matter of what you have to say. 

thing1 : I tend to do that a lot lately, so far this month it just so happens that I won at least 3 jersey's on the last minute. I also lost a bunch because for 4 straight days my final post of the day was posted at exactly midnight and each time I would have gotten the jersey if it was posted before.

I think I won't be competing at all for the rest of the month. There's too much going on and I really should take things easy before I get overstressed.

I'm very happy with what I accomplished this month, including my 2nd blue jersey

I'm going all out today to try and win me another red jersey.  Ferdinand isn't making it easy at all for me... If I can't win it, then at least I'm still getting more points today than I have the last few days.

Hmm, well I may not have been able to earn red, but I did manage to get 4 of my reviews featured and I got some more points, so I guess today wasn't a waste.

I'm too lazy to look up these numbers myself, but has a person ever gotten so close to winning a TDV, by ONLY scoring points in two jerseys the entire month?

I'm not talking about people who get 80 points in yellow and 80 in blue, and then 20-40 in red/green, I'm talking about people who only score points in two jerseys exclusively.

Because even though Ferdinand isn't likely to win (I don't think he cares a hell of a lot honestly, he seems to do a ton of work in non-TDV months), he's appearing to do the most impressive thing I've ever honestly seen in a TDV.

The first name that came to mind was tRIUNE, but he's never finished above 7th overall.

Takes a lot to impress me. So wow. It's not enough he's doing so well despite only competing in two jerseys... he's even doing it in the two hardest jerseys.

zanderlex : Well, I've been actively around for less time than you, that's for sure. I haven't seen, or at least remember, days as dead as you mention in the 3 last TdV I've been following, but if you say so, being a TdV winner yourself, must be right.

Also, zander, you said that Ferdinand needed to score 1st all days until the end of the month plus at least one seven pointer to break your jersey points record. Well, there you have it, seven points today in green, if he manages to get first position in green for the remainder of the month your record will go down. And knowing Ferdinand, even though he won't compete for it, he's perfectly capable of achieving it.

Like legacy says, it's not what one does just during the TDV but what one does off or during the offseason. ANd I have to admit rather than PRAISE this janus for post spreeing and calling bintsy bunny, I would much rather congradulate Ferdinand for his high efforts and his actual posting and paying attention TO THE ACTUAL POST. Also, see for the details and the theorum of the posts. Higher quality, maximum effort put in, need I say any more? Let us not praise who puts in THE MOST POSTS. But rather, as we all know, who puts in the quality posts. Thanks Legacy for showing me that time and again.

zanderlex increases the gap between 1st and 2nd.

I only increases the gap by like 5 points and that's nothing because if I miss just one day, ferd can easily gain 10 points over me.

Though this was probably my best day of this tdv. Just one week to go so hopefully I can gain at least 70 points, which oddly would break my record for most points in a tdv.

So I guess midnight rules doesn't exist anymore? 

thing1 : It doesn't look like anybody broke the midnight rule.

I'm honestly surprised you haven't been DQ'ed. That's why I have stopped competiting in these TdV's, because you're just going to keep tabbing and breaking the midnight rule, but nothing is happening. You've done it in every Tour De Vizzed you've participated in. 

thing1 : Look at the rules, there actually is not official midnight rule. There is a rule that if more than 50% of your daily words are made in the last hour that you get DQ'd but I counted his words and he didn't break that rule.

thing1 : Plus that rule is for words, it has nothing to do with CP like yesterday or posts.

thing1 : I had a similar feeling when I saw I did not get any jerseys this morning. But I suppose he still respected the rules... And he REALLY wanted those jerseys.

Wow, today did not go as well as I had hoped for it to go, looks like janus is going to gain a good amount of points over me with 6 days left. Hopefully I can still have a lead of at least 25 points which would put me at a good standing if I can stay active enough for the rest of the week.
