Hello I have a question for all those shiny loving pokemon fans! I was wondering if you ever did hunt for shiny pokemon , I am doing the DexNav on ORAS but I went back to pokemon X and found a bunch of unhatched eggs. I hatched them all and found 2 shiny pokemon! Both beldum. And I was wondering how long did it take all of you to find a shiny? Did you quit or kept going? I think I was extremely lucky. It took me 300+ eggs.
It doesn't have to be eggs it could be chaining and stuff like that it also doesn't have to be an exact number you can say something like -1000+.

gamer537 : Believe it or not, I found a shiny scatterbug on route 2 only like 15 minutes into the game. When I first saw it, my first thought was, "Holy cow, did gamefreak just make it easier to find shinies!?" The only other one I've found since then is a shiny carbink.

gamer537 : I've had some amazing luck with shinies, honestly. Especially with the past few games. In White 2 I found three shiny Eevees one right after the other (still nooooo clue how that happened) and one of them was FEMALE. In Y I caught a shiny Dragalge using the fishing method, found another shiny Eevee, and hatched a bunch of shiny starters. I'm doing the same thing in Alpha Sapphire right now, and so far I've managed to hatch a shiny Mudkip, a shiny Turtwig, and working on a shiny Noibat. Here's hoping. 

Edit: For the eggs, anyway... the only ones I can remember exactly are for AS, and it was 30 eggs for the Mudkip and 17 for the Turtwig. The ones in the other games were all under 100 eggs, though.

They are Flygon, Pelipper (My friend gave it to me) ,Metagross (non event) ,Phione (wondertrade), Greninja and Gliscor :]
