So I don't even remember how long it's been since I have been on here.  But I got into it with my folks a while back and was kicked out.  So for a long long time I've been going from shelter to shelter and through lots of hard work I got into a place that the state pays for 2 years.  With the help from my therapy group I have internet now in my room so things are looking up.  In the next few weeks I'll be able to start looking for a job and hopefully this will get me to having my own life again away from my family.

So I'm back as long as I can keep this internet.  Sorry if people got scared that I wasn't able to get on!

LCRain : As someone that has been through the same ordeals as you I can relate. I too was homeless and was scrounging of friends and living in shelters or even living on the streets for roughly 4 years... If anything it really changed how I perceive people and the world.  

Also welcome back. We spoke for a brief time in chat. I'm pretty sure we chatted before your disappearance at some point after all. I've been pretty much active day to day (besides 4 months) for the last 4 years... Either way.. The community has changed a little. Most of the people you may have spoke to have probably moved on.. But hey.. We're all still the same idiots we were back then I guess..

If you need any help remembering anything don't be afraid to ask.

You take care of yourself now. I was at one point homeless for eight months, living on other peoples couches and it was not a picnic. (Though it could have been much more worse.) Last time it was only for a month but I managed to get migraine and really sick with the flu during that time too. I thought I could manage it again, but seriously I hope it never comes down to that even for a short period.

You have your whole life ahead of you. I will pray it will be a fun and wonderful one.

Brigand : Thank you so much for the concerns.  I do now have a large team of social workers, case managers, therapists, and doctors helping me.  Even getting a job coach friday to help me find a job!  This housing I have is for 2 years through the state so I don't have to worry about that as long as I continue with my day program.  I hope things get better for you as well!
