I should just give up doing schoolwork entirely. No matter what I do, I'm going to fail every each of my classes, I already missed 15 homework assignments because I can't pay for the books and even skipped full days because I had no way of paying to get to school.

The school sent me a book and transit voucher for over $400 on March 3rd and I went today to the bursars office AFTER being kicked out of a class for not having my stuff, and they told me that they are going to stop the last one and send a new check that could take up to 4 weeks!

SO far, I have been kicked out of 3 different classes since the semester started this month and I just don't know what I should do anymore or even if I should care.

Zander, it may seem hopeless, but please try. I swear effort is amazing. If you give up, the only thing that's going to happen is everything becoming hell for you .

If you keep it up, on the other hand, try to do better, fix your problems (as crazy as it may seem in any case), just tRYYY! At least it will give you a chance of going the other way, things getting better for you and stuff.

I'm just a kid, and I have no idea just how difficult the real world can be, but I just tried to logically solve this with common sense. If you give up, there is NO way things are going to be good for you, but if you don't, there is at least a chance, even if it is very low ;w;! You're smart, I know you are!

You will not regret trying! Believe me!

zanderlex : Like I said before, the chances would be higher if you tried.

Fresh starts always make people feel better. Make sure to give it your all next year!

zanderlex : Do you have your parents to help you?

Find another one, maybe? Move? I sound like I'm giving you easy tasks, but it really is all I can think of.

zanderlex : Yes! Another school!

Also, you just said in chat that you were going to class. I hope I'm not too late, but make sure it's a great day, alright? Impress your teachers !

There are... other ways of getting textbooks (most of them have been uploaded online in some form or another).
I wouldn't recommend that normally, but in your case it might be necessary. It's also perfectly possible that an earlier version of the textbook is not copyrighted anymore, and it might have the same questions/reading.

There are also other ways, like checking out textbooks at your school's library. I've never been able to find an available textbook, but who knows, it might work for you.

If you can only pay to get to school every other day or so, you might just stay at school for two days. Just bring a change of clothes and use the shower facilities in your school's athletics. Maybe sleep in the library.

Or skip a meal every few days and use the money saved to start a fund for school supplies.

Where there's a will, there's a way. When you hit tough times, you've just got to persevere.

It's how the world works.

I hope you find out what's best for you.

zanderlex : Person how dare you even suggest giving up. You are a person wanting to succeed in life through education and your lucky to be there so don't and I repeat don't give up fighting until the end even if it seems hopeless because who knows you may just get your grades back up and finish with really good grades. So what I'm trying to say is never give up don't let the odds stop you remember when I bet 100 Viz on The Dice Game with 10% chance to win I did not expect to win but I tried anyway because there was always a chance that I could win this is the same with college you have a chance to save yourself you just need to try and never give up. I hope I helped Zander and may you be successful in the future my friend :3

NintendoFanKimmy : But I have only been in this school for less than a month. And I got kicked out of that class too.

EideticMemory : there's no place to stay. In my old school, I did spend the night there once in the computer lab but I wouldn't be able to eat at all, and I already only have one meal a day unless I find money.

Wow, sorry to hear this. I would not give up at all. I don't know if you here in America or another country. If you are here in America. Maybe you could go to a Community College. Community Colleges are cheaper and you can get a lot of credits and an Associates there. I first started at a Community College. If your not in America maybe your country has something equivalent.  But I would not give up. I will lift you up in my prayers

You could just camp out in their office until they do something.

If it's on them, it's on them. They'll probably find something a lot faster for you.

EideticMemory : I literally would if I could, but they are quite mean. I asked if there's anything that could be done to use those funds in the school bookstore now and just have them cancel the check and all they said was pay out your pocket. They said they will do a stop payment and then "investigate" before they can make a new one.

Just out of curiosity what career or area are you trying to get into? Because most of the time the job only requires exp and not the actual degree. I dropped out of college only because art school itself is expensive and I'd be dishing out 26k for every year, not to mention living in a dorm far away from home and having to buy every day life essentials.  But when there is a will there is a way, you don't have to suffer for college. That's what I did and ended up depressed for months! What I'm trying to say is that if you can look into other options for your job career and be determined about it you'll be fine. I don't know how many cases I see about people who couldn't go to college because of money and years down the line they end up at a huge company they thought it wasn't possible. Getting a college degree doesn't always grant you a job and that's the sad thing about it. I may not be in college but I'm sure as heck not giving up my dream to become a comic book artist. As far as you giving up you shouldn't, not on a career choice, there's other choices that will help you in that direction of your career.  But do whatever feels natural to you, I just don't want you to starve or feel as if you have to sacrifice something for it. It's not healthy and your well being comes first.

If that's the case, in my opinion all you have to do is train your body physically and mentally. And there are requirements to play each sport independently. What I would do in your shoes is do some researching, but just stay positive and keep a smile on your face you will get there in time with patience and perseverance. And please feel free to leave a comment on my page, I give out pretty good advice to those who wish it.

What I would do in your shoes is do some researching, but just stay positive and keep a smile on your face you will get there in time with patience and perseverance. And please feel free to leave a comment on my page, I give out pretty good advice to those who wish it.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
