Well, one time I hacked my friends Gmail, and it turned off his internet for a day somehow. My friend told me if I ever hacked him again, he would report me to the FCC, so I'm pretty sure that's a crime. 

And I'm pretty sure there might be some hackers on Vizzed.

Are there criminals on Vizzed? Yep. There are torrenters, digital pirates, script-kiddies etc. etc. Basically every forum site on the internet has users which are criminals in one way or other, especially if programming, music, or videos are involved since it's very easy to do illegal stuff with those subjects (finding potentialy dangerous exploits in a langauge, recording and distributing recording, copying video and distributing copy, etc. etc.). Am I among them? Technically yes. I'd love it if the loop-holes used to obtain my 'illegal' audio files (not the same as audiophiles :p) would hold up in court when there is a highly paid persecutor attacking me, but they won't.

I took down someone's site before because I knew their login info - the person in question knows I have his password and seems want to use it still.

You should have seen Minecraft Central when I took it down, the person was moaning at me and trying to basically kill me because of some stupid website no one cared about.

Also the fact I dos'ed Gaming Central on the same person (barely much effort at 250mb it was down for a short while) he went also on moaning about it.

In my honest opinion, yes I believe there are criminals on Vizzed. Even criminals may want to play games from their childhood.

Considering the number of people who use this site, there might be a criminal or two but unless they post something that links them to a crime or provides identification that they're a criminal, nothing can be done. I would hope that David would report a criminal to the police since that person's IP and all that would be available to David.

I think it's a pretty fair assumption that at least a couple of users on this site have been arrested for doing something similar to what you mentioned before.

Although I kinda figure it's minimal to a certain extent since we try to make it a point to keep this site "family friendly" and have even gone as far as to remove users that were harassing users in the past. Also, since many of the users on this site are younger, that kinda factors in as well.

While it is unlikely that a mass murderer or serial rapist or something similar to that effect will be on here...I do believe that the point of this thread is that we don't know if they are or not and if  they are...what would our reaction be? To be honest I'm mainly apathetic to the whole criminal thing, some people have good reasons for what they do...while others are complete douche's. A man or woman killing a home intruder to protect their family is different than a man/woman just walking outside and killing another person.

Oldschool777 : I guess that everything is a question of degree. There are so many laws around that nearly all of us have committed "crimes" at one point or another. That would not bother me as much as "major" crimes like theft, arson or murder.
