I don't really like either one, but both have their own pros and cons.
The Aquarium is normally airconditioned so it's a better place to go on a hot day then the Zoo, but it is boring.
The Zoo has lots of different things, but is outdoors and can be smelly.
I prefer neither one, decide based on what you want to look at or how the weather is.

I would have to go with the aquarium because you ccan see the creatures in the water clearly and up close, while the zoo the animal is usally a sleep or is hiding somewhere

I personally love the aquarium better. Underwater animals are more difficult to see on a regular basis so I find it more interesting to see them in an aquarium

Well if you like to see animals than go to the zoo, but if your a fish person go to the aquarium. I say Aquarium becauze its somewhat colder done near the zoo this time of year and aquariums can put heat on to. Hoped it helped any.

It depends what my status is.

If I'm really baked, I'd like to visit the Aquarium.
Either is fine though, I love watching animals and the funny things they can do at times. Same goes with sea creatures.

Both can be quiet fascinating, but I'll choose the Zoo.

This, plus I think sea creatures are just darn cool. In addition, I like the shows that aquarium staff sometimes put on with dolphins.

If the weather was fine and not too hot for a zoo I would go to a little zoo somewhere.
They are so much better than the bigger ones.
Even though the bigger ones have more variety, there is no interaction like at the little zoos.

I like zoos better because there are more animals to see and more shows and things to do. At least at the ones up here, anyways. They're both animal exploitation though, and I don't believe in capturing animals for zoos or aquariums, but those bred in captivity are okay, since they wouldn't be able to survive in the wild after all the pampering.
