But seriously.. I really didn't want to force people out of the chance of getting a coloured name.. In all fairness i feel kinda guilty doing so... but realistically speaking... it'd easily surpass 1 million Viz anyways...

Note how sonicmcmuffin has earned a total of over 7 million Viz from Viz transfers alone on his CP page since the feature was implemented; a lot of that stems from his selling of various real items and digital goods (Steam games) for Viz. Forcing them to donate, especially when the user might be reliant on parents to spend money for them or otherwise simply cannot spare any money due to personal circumstances, would seem like extortion.

To get one million viz, you have to do a LOT of work. Only 13 or 14 users have 1,000,000+. Of those, 2 or 3 have no use for the Viz or cannot use it. (David, Minecraft Staff, google)

I think as it is, one million Viz is a perfectly fair price, with no donation attached.
