Hello, I was pondering the other day if you needed to download 3rd party content to use a PS3 controller on the RGR emulator? Anyone here have any experience with that? If you do, please let me know! Thanks!

Since nobody's answered yet, I'll say what I know:

Yes, you will need third party software to map your PS3 controller keys to your keyboard keys. Basically the computer will recognize your controller presses like you're pressing buttons on the keyboard, and therefore the emulator and Vizzed should work normally.

The two programs I think you need to use in conjunction are: MotionInJoy and JoyToKey.

I have no experience with actually going through with this, but that's what I think you'll need.

I've also used xPadder in the past myself. The software you are talking about is technically called 'key binding' software - it basically acts as a translator for your button presses, turning them into system calls that resemble the ones associated with keyboard strokes. Most of the free stuff is easy enough to use and often have their own guides.
