Well, here i am again this time, I'll be taking you underwater so that we can see things from a fish' perspective. Got your scuba gear ready? Dive! Dive! Watch out for sharks!

Throughout this game, you get to play as Marlin, Nemo and Dory. The game follows the same general line as the movie. It doesn't stray too far from it, but still manages to hit you with surprises every now and again. It's been a while since I owned this game, so I might not be able to remember everything about it. But I will see what I can do. As far as where you will be going in the game, You'll find yourself anywhere from the coral reef, to a sunken ship, the trenches, jellyfish field, in the belly of a whale, in the sewer drains, in a fish tank, and even in a fishing bay. You'll experience some hair raising chases by sharks and anglers. You'll be jumping on jellies, underwater mines (yes, I just said that!) and sponges. There are not a few puzzle solving bits around this game. There are a ton of bonus levels that you can play and see just how far you can go. Basically, in this game, you never know what might happen. So keep your wits about you!

Graphics: 10
Basically, these are just the best graphics that I ever remember seeing on the Play station 2. The colors are bright and cheery, and dark and ominous where need be. The characters are sharp, backgrounds are good, the cutscenes look good, and the effects are all good. You can tell where currents and vortexes lie, and all the animations flow perfectly.

Sound: 9
As far as I could remember, the sound was pretty awesome too, from the sounds of snapping jaws to the sound of that clank when you jam the water cleaner system. The vibrant sound that you hear when you collect a shell, or the "come on!" you hear when you collect krill to protect you. The music fits, and everything just feels spot on.

Addictiveness: 9
Yeah, this game can get pretty addicting. Swimming through the ocean can be a lot of fun, especially when you have a lot of different things to do (not like in some underwater games--looking at the Echo the dolphin series here!) Sometimes you're bouncing, sometimes you're racing, and sometimes, you're searching. There just isn't an end to the fun around here!

Story: 9
I give the story a 9 because it closely follows the flow of the movie while giving a good game at the same time, I believe that they put a lot of time and effort into syncing this game with the movie without ruining the game. So kudos to the story writers (more than I can say for mario!)

Depth: 9
Okay, this game just has so much to do! Every level has a quantity of various things for you to collect or go through. Finding all of them can take a lot of time and some agility. Throughout the game there are enemies that you can defeat. "How is that possible?" you ask. It's easy, really, you just have to use bubble power! Knock the bubble into the enemy and then charge them! As I mentioned earlier, there are shells to collect. Sometimes there are rings to go through. Sometimes there are other sea creatures that need to be rescued. On bouncing segments...where you bounce from one thing to another, they make a goal to hit all the bounce things. And of course, there are the mini games to complete. Believe me, it's easier said than done!

Difficulty: 9
And that brings me to the difficulty segment...The game itself is not extremely tough, though there are difficult parts. The toughest part is in trying to win all the mini levels. And if memory serves me right, there were even a few time trials! There are slider puzzle games--which I really struggled with, tag team games--where you have to join forces to bring back all three colored rocks. In these levels you play as marlin, nemo, AND, dory (not all at once!) You use their qualities and abilities to solve the puzzles and win the level. There are matching levels, which were not too hard. There are even races in here. Then there is the most notorious mini level that I can remember...getting the ball through the rings...what do I look like to you? A seal? It may seem simple enough, but do not underestimate the difficulty of these games.

Overall: 9
After my experience with this game, I believe that a nine is a fair score to give it, after all, there were a lot of unique things that you just don't do in most games. And how could he ignore the great graphics and sound, or the way the whole thing flows seamlessly with the movie. All things considered, this was a pretty great game. Yikes! Shark! Time for me to make my exit!

I cannot say how shocked I am that a Nemo game just got a nine in a review. I'm also beginning to sense that you aren't a fan of Mario... just a hunch though.

As always, well done here. Keep on writing, man.

Eirinn : Don't get me wrong, mario is pretty cool and all, especially with his galaxy series. But I cannot help but feel that he gets more credit than he warrants. The people at nintendo pretty much just throw him out there all the time with the same old story line. I played Super mario bros for wii, the wii u and super luigi bros...They are all pretty much the same game. Super mario sunshine was original. I just wish that nintendo would actually bother writing a story for him.

Why do you need to put up a game review of a fish's perspective when you already have me as your guide?

This seems like a good kid friendly game as you described it but sadly, I don't have a Playstation 2 to play it. This is a good general game review of a Finding Nemo game. It could use more details but it's no problem.

Remember that fish are friends, not food!

ghostfishy : DO YOU HAVE A WII? If so, Finding Nemo is also on the Nintendo gamecube! It may even be on xbox, but I am not certain. Anyways, you're funny! Haven't talked to you for a while. You keep just barely beating me to greeting the newbies! There's like 3 of them, I'm right behind you!
