This is basically a story on how I got here. Just so you know, all of this is true, not fictional. I might of been on Facebook and not here if it wasn't for my love of video games. Please at least try to enjoy this.

Introduction

I was born in 2002. Basically when the N64 was around. New things came along the way. For 4 years, I lived in College Corner. I had very little experience at anything I had learned since the time I wrote this paper (I actually typed it if you hadn’t noticed already).

The Start of a New Life

In 2006, I moved to a new house in Oxford. I had a bigger bedroom. Big enough to store very many things. This was about the time I was in prekindergarten. I lost my love of watching my first favorite TV series, Blues Clues. Then began to watch another great series, Danny Phantom.

My Passion was Found

Just one year after I moved. I went to my dad’s friends’ house. The friends’ name John. I called him Uncle Bucky. In the gaming room, I saw a Gamecube, and a stack of game cases. On the top, was a picture of a bunch of people racing in two person karts. The one that caught my eye was a plumber with a red hat, and mustache, Jump Man Mario. I borrowed the Gamecube, and the game that caught my attention. The game was called Mario Kart Double Dash!!. When I played, I had loads of fun. So much fun, I got my own Gamecube.

Video Game Love Expanded

Soon, I learned about The Legend of Zelda. Then got the Gamecube game called The The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I also got a game called Wario World, then Mario Power Tennis, then Mario Golf, then Luigi’s Mansion. I loved them all (except for Mario golf, that got boring in a few weeks). It wasn’t too long until we got old consoles out, like the Nintendo Entertainment System, and the Nintendo 64.

The Future of Gaming

In 2009 (I think), the Nintendo Wii started to become a big hit. I loved it too of course. It took just a few years for my gaming cabinet to fill up (It was only 1 cubic foot big). I had games like New Super Mario Bros Wii, Wii Sports, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (I don’t remember how this happened), and my favorite, Mario Kart Wii!

Super Mario Bros X

It was a while before I got this. I was excited, though I didn’t really realize that it actually existed until a month after I saw the trailer. Super Mario Bros X was a PC game that involved a level editor. At this time, I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop. I made 4 compete projects. Super Mario Bros Extreme, Super Mario Bros Extreme 2, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Changes Stories, and Super Mario Land Returns. SMLR I will talk about in just a minute.

Animation Fun

I started making 30 second videos, then they began to be about a minute. My personal favorite id How to get Pranked 10 Times with a Fan. About the time I posted this story, I remade it in digital media class. Best class ever!

The New Fun

Christmas of 2013, It was great. This is the time I got my Wii U and my wonderful iMac. My Mac helped me a lot in Super Mario Bros X. The Wii U is the main topic I want to talk about. In the past, I thought of this as amazing. I wonder if you think differently now. The first game to have a touchscreen controller, and 5 player gameplay just using one console. Mario Kart 8 was one of the best. It contained 3 courses from my first video game (If you don’t know that it is Mario Kart: Double Dash then you really need to start listening more). They were Dry Dry Desert, Sherbet Land, and Yoshi’s Circuit.

Super Mario Land Returns

On August 2014 (Super Mario Land’s 25th Anniversary), I released a big hit, Super Mario Land Returns. It was so good, we lost all the bandwidth on my dad’s website! 1,000 downloads. 11,000 views. I didn’t even think it was that good! See it here!

The Peak of Gaming

The Wii U has a Dark World (If you remember The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, you will understand what I mean), It plays Wii games! So wait. What did we do with the old Wii? I was now able to play anything Wii and under, and rom or iso in the world. Even games from Japan!

Conclusion

That is basically the story of my life from year 2002-2015. Hope you enjoyed it!
