There is no list of favorite SNES games, anywhere (probably)  that 'a Link to the Past' is not included in.  Iconic to both the Zelda Franchise and to my childhood, LttP marks a great achievement in  video game history.

Story:  Where other games, even by toady's standards, fall short of quality plot material, LttP drops you right in the middle of it!  Within a few minutes, (spoiler alert)  your only known relative dies in battle, and Link finds himself on a mission to save Hyrules beloved Princess.  The Mood is met with dark music and chilling weather as you make your way into the deep parts of Hyrule Castle.  Just re imagining my first time through gives me chills and I'm sure that applies to any who love this game as much as I! 10/10

Difficulty:  At times there are enemies that may give you a hastle, but once you understand their attack patterns, most enemies turn into fodder at the hands of the Master Sword; however, the puzzles throughout the land and dungeons are more difficult than most, harder than the monsters themselves.  Sometimes things don't make sense, there are always clues if you look hard enough, but for a novice playing for the first time, you had better have a crystal ball ready because you'll be grinding your teeth in no time. 7/10

Sound: Zelda music in general is an iconic part of the series, but I'd say that for a game of its time, the music is a rather enjoyable part of the game.  The mood is always met by just the right music, sound effects are just right, nothing seems out of place, and the variety of new music to be had is just wonderful.  Say what you will about the game, and I would not be offended, but disrespect the music of LttP and there will be hell to pay! 10/10

Depth: As with the plot, there is more to this game than meets the eye (teehee).  The hidden areas are bountiful, the items are spread far and wide, and the feels are to be had at each new development.  Hours and hours of fun to be had, not to mention the daunting feeling you get when you enter the land of the triforce and realize "oh geez, I have to do THAT many more dungeons!?"  10/10

Addictiveness:  Though fairly enjoyable and fun to play, I don't see this game, or even the franchise as being one of 'addictive quality'  There are climax parts here and again, and they are placed beautifully, but that is not the beauty of the game.  There are few methods used to keep you playing all day (this here is no candy crush y'all!), but that's alright, I'll still play, even after I take a week off right in front of  Agahnims door.  6/10

Graphics:  Obviously not as sharp as Twilight Princess, but you'll find that the graphics provide you with more than enough quality to get you through the game.  The colors are used well, characters and bosses designed very slick and best of all, you never come across anything in this rendition of Hyrule that will make you feel gross just at the sight of it.  I know that these graphics aren't out of this world, but you don't need them to dive into this game, that is what a link between worlds is for   9/10

All in all I have no problems with anything in this game be it story wise or by design choice.  I love this game with all of my heart and if you have never played this iconic game before, then I am here to tell you that you will love it to!

Is this your first review ?

If so I found this review to be very interesting and fun to read. I enjoyed reading the story and sound sections. I love the story lines when it comes to Zelda games and the music is always outstanding. In this game my favorite theme to listen to is Hyrule Castle. Reading this review makes me want to play this game once again.

There doesn't seem to be anything missing or left out, you did an amazing job.

Thank you for your approval, makes me all gitty.  This is my first review, but I think that years of playing the same game time and time again have prepared me thoroughly for this kind of thing.

Ainstrings : Awesome review! You convince me to try the game, and I hope I'll try it soon . Not bad for a beginner, because you have a very strong start, and one thing I will suggest is next time, be sure to compare it to other Zelda games for each section. Like, the difference between ALTTP's sound and OOT 's, but other than that, good job. Keep writing reviews like this!

This is an amazing first review! A Link To The Past is one of my favorite Zelda games, so I enjoyed reading this review. Just try to put a bit more wording or explaining into the review and it'll be perfect. I can see you becoming a great review writer in the near future. Would you summon me to your future reviews as well? I would love to read them! Again, great job!
