I dunno, lately I haven't felt like doing anything I do. I don't want to draw, I don't want to make a review, I don't want to do theories. I feel kinda
dead inside :l

Nothing but tomodachi life and tf2 for the past week... with a bit of pokemon Omega Ruby here and there. Where can I find some inspiration?

I know! I'll look at Portal walkthroughs! I love Portal and Portal 2 for the puzzles and just how entertaining the game itself is. With crazed robot AI's, some dude who wants to make explosive lemons, and FREAKING WHEATLEY. Jeez, I don't know if I love him or hate him. Funny how people always want HL3, I mean HL2 has plenty of expansions and mods, but I never see much love for portal. The last big Portal news I remember was Portal 2 on ps3. After all, Portal does have a lot to expand upon, what lies beyond Aperture, does it have anything to do with the Half Life universe? And when we started Portal 2 it was pretty confusing, last I remember after Portal 1 Chell ended up outside the foundation and next thing we know she's back in suspension. We didn't get much explanation like the ratman comics taking place before the first portal, so why not try and make more sense of the game?

... Weeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllll... this is... well dayum

Here we have what could be considered the prequel of Portal 2, and yes, this is canon. Steam Greenlight approves this community made expansion for users of Portal 2, and it is looking great! The new game, called Conversion, is set to come out later this year and I can feel it will be great. Now sure, it may not be it's own separate game, seeing as it's an add-on for Portal 2, but honestly, it pretty much runs on the same engine no matter what anyways. New features include updated graphics, brand new puzzle elements, and a new form of non-linear plot. Apparently this means multiple endings depending on choices. Funny thing, an early development of Portal 2 actually had an alternate ending in it, involving going to the moon, but was removed seeing as all the beta testers couldn't even find it. I think it would be great to have ways to influence the ending, after all, there are lot's of moments in Portal 2 where you could implement a path split between objectives.

Something I could see myself worrying about would be like what if you went through the game without GLaDOS or Wheatley or Cave Johnson or anything like that, cause that is what made Portal so special. Well according to the page, "Familiar constructs like that of GLaDOS and Wheatley will return! In addition new companions such as The Administration Core, August, The Security Core, Ben, will help you save Aperture Science!" Meeting new characters is a great plus, although I wonder about Ben and August. Are those two just robots with regular names, like Wheatley's case? Or could there be interaction with other humans? I can confidently say that it could happen, seeing how ratman survived within the place for so long,
Spoiler:
and in Portal 2 Co-op there's an ending where Atlas and P-Body find hundreds of hibernating test subjects.

All in all, I can't wait for this to come out to expand the lore of Portal. Had a lot of fun with the other 2 games, and if this goes as advertised, it will be Valve's next big thing they barely worked on.

I watched the video, read some of the and I think this is really cool. Doubt I would play it until I see videos of others playing it though.

zanderlex : oh hey, umm, apparently the project has a 50% chance of getting cancelled. Dangit wish they mentioned that outside the discussion... BUT! It's not for certain, so yeah, fingers crossed.

It's not listed on Greenlight, was it already accepted by Steam?
