You will need to submit as many screenshots for as many games in the Video Game Room as you can. Games that exist in the Retro Game Room don't count, only games that aren't playable count! This includes PC, Xbox One, Playstation 3, 3DS, Dreamcast, etc... pretty much anything that isn't in the RGR. This competition has the highest potential payout of any competition I've ever held.

MEGA Competition:
This is going to be classified as a Mega competition because not only do 5 people get prizes but there's also cash prizes.

You can take as many screenshots as you want per a game as long as each screenshot is different. Showing a screenshot of each level, character, mode, location, course, etc counts.


RULES and INFO:
-SCREENSHOTS HAVE TO BE TAKEN BY YOU, if you take screenshots from somewhere else, you'll be banned
-You can submit as many as you'd like
-We may make your screenshots the primary screenshot for the games you submit screenshots to which can earn you a lot of CP and Viz
-You can submit screenshots to games that others have as long as your screenshots are different enough
-Screenshots must maintain a rating of 3 or higher (3 is default)
-You can take screenshots of games that already have primary screenshots just as long as your screenshots are different enough from those screenshots
-You can submit a screenshot of the same level/location/track that you or someone else already has submitted as long as the screenshot is different enough or as long as it's a different area of the level/location/track
-You MUST assign your screenshot to a category for it to count
-You MUST give your screenshot a description for it to count
-At least 50% of your screenshots MUST have the game characters tagged in them (this only applies to screenshots that have characters in them)
-Only screenshots taken on or after 1/1/2015 and before 2/1/2015 count
-You can do hacks, homebrew, ports, clones, etc... anything that has a game page counts
-You must have an average of 20 or less screenshots per a game. If you do 100 screenshots, that must involve at least 5 games. You can, for example, submit 80 screenshots to 1 game and then 5 screenshots to 4 different games because that would be 100 screenshots to 5 different games giving you an average of exactly 20.

I can purchase a membership on a website for you somewhere, I can order something for you off of amazon, I can send you the money via Paypal, I can buy you Microsoft Points, Nintendo Points or Playstation Points and send you the code, I can buy you an Amazon gift card and send you the code, etc.


Missing Games:
If we're missing games in the VGR then please PM the RGR Staff and they'll work on getting the missing games added as soon as possible.


Resources:
You can also download roms and emulators of games that don't exist in the RGR and take screenshots with your computer.

If you have an external capture card, you can take screenshots of the videos you record with it using GOM Player (some other video playback devices support taking screenshots of videos as well). You can also take screenshots of your downloaded XBox One or Playstation 4 streams (or YouTube videos) but just make sure you yourself are not part of the stream otherwise the screenshot wont count.

Wow. I know what I'll be attempting to do for the rest of the month haha. I don't even have a next-gen console or a capture card, but I have a decently sized backlog of PC games to take pictures of. Let's see how this goes!

This is taken from the instructions... You can only put the screenshots on miiverse and thats it to my knowledge

-Access the Miiverse site on your computer.
-Get to the Miiverse post containing your image.
-Right-click the image and save it to your computer.
-Go to the Vizzed page of the game you have the screenshot for.
-Click the "Click Here to Uploaded Your Screenshots" link.
-Click the "SELECT FILES" button.
-Find the image you saved to your computer and upload it.

Davideo7 : Since my staff job is to add screenshots that I find on the web, please disqualify me from this. Or do you not want graphics uploaded until this contest is over? I have been working on the Wii listings without box art and screenshots.

kramer4077 : Actually what you do is a little different then this. Finding screenshots from the internet and uploading them to one of primary slots or uploading a boxart graphic doesn't count toward this competition. You can continue doing your graphic adding role and you're definitely allowed to participate in this competition if you want but just keep in mind that the process of adding the graphics is totally different.

So, in a nutshell, your saying that the more screenshots we give for modern games in the Video Game Room, the more Viz or cash we get?!
Well, I guess those billions of Tomodachi Life snapshots I still have on my 3DS just became valuable...
