So, I was going through my hard drive last night, trying to find something, and I found this: My 2014 Season Predictions. Turns out that was I pretty good a few things, but a few other things... man, was I off.  I wrote this up one day when I was bored so I could reflect on it later.

This is my reflection on my predictions.

AFC East: New England Patriots
I see this as a relatively weak division, besides the Patriots, to be completely honest. The Dolphins are not much of a team, even though they have a few good players. The New York Jets are decent, but they still need time to work together as a team; they have had a lot of changes the past few years. And the Buffalo Bills  really have not made much of a sound the past few years, and I do not see this changing this year. I predict the Patriots win their division with a 12 - 4 record, while going 5 - 1 in the division, only loosing to the Jets in the first match up.
Reflection: I was pretty spot on for this Division. I predicted that the Patriots would go 12-4, and 5-1 in their division. Only thing was that they went 4-2 in the division instead of 5-1. And I hate being right about the Patriots. They do have a pretty easy division though.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
Let me start off by saying that the Cleveland Browns are the Browns. It does not matter that they have Johnny Manziel; they are still going to be a 4 - 12 kind of team until they start building a team, instead of a team around a player that will be gone by the time they have a few pieces in place. With that being said, I still think the Pittsburgh Steelers are still too old of a team. They need to start rebuilding the team. They are getting there, but they are not there yet. The Cincinnati Bengals are the black horse of this division. They suck for a few years, then they win the division one year, do decent the next year, then go back to being a 6 - 10 team for a few more years until they have another good season. The Bengals won the division last year, so if the pattern keeps up, they are going to be the team that might grab one of the Wild Card Spots, but I do not see them winning the division. I predict the Baltimore Ravens will win this division. They have a relatively
young team, they have made a lot of off season moves, and they are looking good going into the Pre - Season. I think this year they will win the division, and go back to the Playoffs, going 10 - 6 , maybe 11 - 5 at best, while going 4 - 2 in the division, loosing the Steelers once and the Bengals once.
Reflection: I was wrong about the Browns. They hung in there for awhile, and finished at 7-9. The Steelers ended up winning the division, and the Ravens had to fight to get in, even as a 10-6 team. The division was amazing this year, and I did see this coming. I did not see 3 teams from this division making the playoffs, either.

AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
This is another relatively weak division. You have the Jaguars who are still building. You have the Titans that have barely made a sound since their Super Bowl run years ago. And then the Texans. I am not sure about them. The could be a surprise Wild Card team, but I do not see them winning the Division. I have the Colts going 11 - 5 at best, 9 - 7 at worst to win the division, while going 4 - 2 in the divisional games.
Reflection: The Colts made it with an 11-5 record ( that's 2 out of 3 perfect division winning records predicted. CHA CHING! ) Only thing they did not do as I predicted was go 4-2 in the division, not 6-0. The Texans almost made the Playoffs, as I predicted. But, they did not make it.

AFC West: Denver Broncos
You have the Chiefs, who I do not see making too much a noise with Andy Reed gone, and not much going for them. You also have the Raiders, whose fans still think this is the 1970's and '80's. As for the Chargers, they are getting better, but I do not see them making much of a peep in terms of the division standings, maybe ending up in a tight race, but beating out the Chiefs for 2nd. I have the Broncos taking this one, going... 12 - 4, maybe 13 - 3, depending on how the season starts for them. They will more than likely go 5 - 1 in the division, losing
only to the Chargers thanks to a phenomenal 2 minute drill brought to you by Phillip Rivers.
Reflection: Do I really need to say anything? The Broncos had a heck of a team this year, and a good part of it was Manning. They did go 12-4, so I'll take half credit for that one. And they went 6-0 in the division, not 5-1. I just can not get the division winners division records right, can I?

What the AFC seeding will look like:
1. Broncos
2. Patriots
3. Colts
4. Ravens
5. Bengals
6. Texans

Reflection:
Correct Seed:
1. Patriots
2. Broncos
3. Steelers
4. Colts
5. Bengals
6. Ravens

The Patriots and the Broncos both got first round byes. The Ravens made the playoffs, but not as the division winner. The only one I got completely correct was the Bengals in the 5 seed. And I said the Texans were gonna make it, not the Steelers. Eh, I'll give myself a 70% for this one.

Ravens defeat the Broncos again, in the AFC Championship, with a score of 34 - 24.
Reflection: This is still possible. And I am going to stick to it. I may change the score though. I now think it'll be 27-21, Ravens.

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles
The Dallas Cowboys  signed Tony Romo for another 5 years, if I am not mistaken? Well, there goes 5 more years of Cowboys fans hope of going to the Playoffs, unless they somehow get a Wild Card spot, only to lose in the first round. The Giants have not done much since they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl awhile back, and I do not see that changing with the way the younger Manning has been playing. The Redskins are still trying to get back into shape like they were during RG3's Rookie Campaign; however, they might give the Eagles a run for their money. I think the Eagles will not do great, but still will win the division by going 9 - 7, going an even 3 -3 in the division, loosing to everybody once, and beating everybody once.
Reflections: Nobody saw the Dallas Cowboys going 12-4. Nobody. Nada. Not One. I won't get even get into before legacyme3 embarrasses me again. The Eagles did not even make the playoffs as a 10-6 team. But, then again, the NFC was pretty touch, minus the sub-par NFC South this year.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers
In my opinion, another relatively weak division. You have the Bears, who try to do something each year, and sometimes do, but they never amount to much. Then you have the Lions who have been acting like Kittens the past 10 years or so. The Vikings have a few good games each year, but with Christian Ponder at the helm, I can not see them winning the division, even if Adrian Peterson does rush for over 2,000 yards. I could possible see them getting a Wild Card Spot, but not winning the Division. That leaves us with the Green Bay Packers. With Aaron Rodgers, they may just squeak of this season alive. I have them winning the division with a respectable 10 - 6 record, while going... 4 - 2 in the division, loosing to the Vikings once and the Bears once.
Reflection: I was wrong. The Packers won the division, sure, but they went 12-4, not 10-6. And I called the Lions Kittens... they sure proved me wrong... just the like the darn Cowboys.

NFC South: Carolina Panthers
This is my surprise division. I mean, you can practically rule out the Buccaneers, no questions asked. The Saints were on a roll, but they have not been doing well enough, at least, in my opinion, to win the division this year. They could make a very good Wild Card Team though. There is also the matter of the Atlanta Falcons. While they may be featured on the T V show, I actually see this hurting them, or at least hindering them, in the long run. They might have an 8 - 8 kind of season, but I do not see them doing much better than that. So, I have the Panthers as the surprise winners this year. They have been creeping up on everybody lately, each year getting a little bit better. I think this year is their year. I see them going 11 - 5 , while going 4 - 2 in the division, loosing to the Falcons in a surprise blowout and the Saints in a back and forth nail biter that could go either way the entire game.
Reflection: Well... the Panthers won, alright. But they did not go 11-5. They went 7-8-1. At least that is a better mark the 7-9 Cardinals that one year.

NFC West: San Francisco 49ers
This is a toss up division. You have the Rams that are a 6 - 10 team at best. You have the Cardinals that have not really been on the scene since they lost to the Steelers in the Super Bowl, in stunning fashion, might I add. Then you have the Seahawks, but they are having issues with Marshawn Lynch and his contract right now. That will ultimately hurt the team's relationship with one another in the long run, causing them to not win the division, and losing it to the 49ers. I have the 49ers winning the division, going 12 - 4, while going 4 - 2 in the division, loosing only to the Seahawks by a game winning field goal, and a surprise lose to the Cardinals, maybe.
Reflections: Wow... the 49ers tanked. They ended up going 8-8. All because of locker room drama and bad press, ( at least, in my opinion. I do not know the whole story. The Seahawks won the division after a slow start to the season, and ended up going 12-4. I'm surprised.

What the NFC seeding will look like:
1. 49ers

2. Panthers
3. Packers
4. Eagles
5. Seahawks
6. Vikings

Reflection:
Correct Seeds:
1. Seahawks
2. Packers
3. Cowboys
4. Panthers
5. Cardinals
6. Lions

I was correct about 4 of the teams I predicted making the playoffs, but I placed none of them correctly. I don't know why I predicted the Vikings to make it, but the Cowboys instead? Oh man, legacme3 is not going to let me live this down.

Seahawks beat the Panthers, going back to the Super Bowl, with a score of 37 - 26.
Reflection: I think I am going to be wrong on this one. I still have the Seahawks winning it all in the NFC, but I think they'll beat the Cowboys and put them in their place finally. I will say it will be done with a score of... 37-28?

Super Bowl Prediction at the start of the Pre - Season? Ravens beat the Seahawks in overtime after a Seahawks Field to force overtime, by a score of 44 - 41, The Seahawks will have to settle for a field goal in overtime, but the Ravens will get a touchdown to win the game.
Reflection: I still think it is going to be the Ravens and the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. However, I am not sure about how I said it would play out. I can think of 2 possible scenarios: 1, the Ravens beat the Seahawks in a game all about the defense. If this is how it plays out, I think the Ravens will pull it out on a 2 minute drill in the 4th quarter, with a score of 21-17. Or, 2, this game is ALL ABOUT the offense. If that happens, then it's going to be about the running game. I still think it will be close, but if this is the case, then I see a possible score of 27-23 happening, with the Seahawks winning this scenario.

If anybody had predictions that they had that they would like to reflect on, then go for it.

patar4097: I looked around, but I could not find anything, so I am good. We discussed this last night.
