Hello everyone and welcome to another one of my reviews, this time I will be reviewing a very old classic which is known simply as "Tennis". What might this game be about I wonder? Basketball? Swimming? We'll never know it seems!
We send out our rally with our Graphics, now this is an interesting part of reviewing as this game was released in the year 1989. A whole 5 years before I was even born. But that's beside the point. The game has very limited graphics and is in black and white so I can't really praise it for much in the colours department sadly.
Score thus far 4 out of 10
Next comes the Sound department, something which interests me. The game itself has very limited sound, consisting of the same sounds and a looping music track. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing, because for what it has, it definitely is something worthwhile. (Although personally, I prefer playing with the Music turned off, helps me concentrate better.)
Score thus far 10 out of 20
Our rebounding shot from our enemy comes at us! The level of addiction of this game is definitely a variable topic. This is due to the fact that some people may be natural born winners at this game and would like to play again. Then there are the sore losers who lose one set and immediately leave the game and never return to it ever again. I scored this a 7 for this range of addiction.
Score thus far 17 out of 30
(I have skipped the story part as it is irrelevant to the game)
Next comes the Depth, something like the "Story" section is rather irrelevant, but I thought I'd add a point or two to the fact this game has 4 "Levels" which each one is an increased difficulty than the previous, which I will move onto in just a moment
Score so far 21 out of 40
Finally! The last point (both literally and figuratively) the Difficulty of the game is, as mentioned above rather varied as you get to choose before playing the game a level from 1 to 4. As such I have given a rather fair rating of 7 out of 10 for this particular part of the review
FINAL SCORE 28 out of 50
56% (D+ Grade game)
