I'm trying to start a netplay session for mario party 3 and the game keeps getting stuck on "downloading primary ROM".
What's going on?
Do I need to fill the session up with other players first?

Was this only once or a few times that it happened?

I wouldn't count on doing netplay with Nintendo 64 games especially when they lag and desync players in the game anyway. You don't need players to start a Nintendo 64 netplay and bring a game up.

Thanks for the reply ghostfishy.
This happened to me twice in a row.
I was kinda pissed because I lost 100 Viz....haha

I had heard about N64 games being slow for netplay, Think I'll stick with other systems from now on.

metalizer101 : Only under the best of circumstances to N64 games work with Netplay. (IE all users have to be close geographically, not only to each other, but to the server. Also, all users have to have pretty fast computers and internet connections) So not too many people currently waste time with the n64 games in netplay.

The following systems work great in netplay:

NES
SNES
Master System
Genesis
Turbografx

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm going to go ahead and close this thread since the question has already been answered.
