Art Style: Orbient for Wii Ware is fantastic, mostly because of its uniqueness and tons of unlockable levels. You only use A and B on the wii remote to pull yourself toward other planets/stars or push yourself away. You have to absorb same sized ones to get bigger, make smaller things orbit you, and eventually get big enough so that the sun will orbit you.

World of Goo, also on Wii Ware (or PC) only requires you to use the Wii Remote to move goo balls around and construct things. It's a physics based puzzle game with surprisingly good music and witty humor.

Not exactly a game suggestion, but there are one-handed controllers for the Famicom and Super Famicom...

I've updated my first post with a list of recommendations in case anyone comes across this who is also in need of 1 handed games.

mourinhosgum : Pokemon Art Academy and Pokemon Trozei sound like great options.

Rasenganfan2 : I actually Mirror's Edge for Windows Phone 8 but haven't played it yet, I didn't know it was a 1 handed game, I'll have to play it.

I don't have the money to see a doctor and I don't have health insurance so I'm kinda screwed. If it doesn't get better soon though I'll have to consider selling a bunch of stuff.

hellno163 : Pac-Man is a great option.

TheReaper7290 : Would I be able to fight and move around at the same time though?

darthyoda : I have Wii Sports, that should work out great.

lisalo : Can you walk around with the touch screen in Chrono Trigger for the DS?

legacyme3 : Yeah I've thought about doing Turn Based RPGs.

zanderlex : Great to see some Windows Phone 8 recommendations

doomdydoomdydoom : I try to limit my time on the computer (I already spend 8-12 hours a day on it while working) since I've also got problems with my right wrist and shoulder but they don't bother me when I'm gaming with a controller.

TheFadedWarrior : Which Tetris game lets you use just the right hand? I'm not so sure how I'd play Mario Kart with 1 hand.

Linkums : I'll check them out.

thing1 : I can play that with just my right hand? I never have to touch the left analog or d-pad?

KiddoCabbuses : Awesome!

No, I think you'd have to move your hand for both sticks, but it's a turn based game, so it's pretty easy to play with just one hand.

Davideo7 : Any tetris with an emulator (just use arrow keys), or you could use probably any tetris on a real system if you move the paddle over so your right hand is over the D-pad. Mario Kart Wii with the Wii Remote only requires you to hold 2 and occasionally press B. If you have the Wii Wheel then it requires almost no pressure at all to press B. It should work pretty well.

Technically any of the pokemon games can be played with one hand. Especially on the DS. Just have the system rest on a table and use the the d-pad when moving. Then switch to the stylus. I've done it before. Takes extra time but it saved my injured hand.

Also, Any of the Bit.Trip games on the Wii Ware work most of the time with one hand. The Beat and Flux games are really fun. Runner can be done with one hand for about half the game.

There are also many pinball games that you can plan with a single button or two. In particular what comes to mind is the DLC on Sonic Generations.

OP= I think. Even if not, the game is paused enough that you may control it with only one hand if you have a 3DS and are comfortable with the joystick.

I would also suggest the online game "War of Omens". It is an excellent, free to play online card game with little to no "pay-to-win".

I heartily recommend Phoenix Wright. The first 4 games and a spinoff are on the DS, Where all of  the games (minus the spinoff) can be played with the touch screen, The first three are on Wiiware (using only the wii remote) and the fifth is on the 3ds Eshop. The first 3 games are also available on the apple appstore, but I'm not sure about windows phones.

These games have great plots (they're visual novels) and they really make you think. The wiiware ones are $10 each, but the DS ones might be a little harder to find.

Just Dance games are always a good choice. Granted if your feet are also sore it's a bad idea, but Just Dance games only require your right hand to register movement, so there's that!

The only issue I foresee is that it's very compelling to also move your left hand (to better match the dancing), even if it's completely unnecessary. So if you easily forget to baby your left hand, or you've been known to really get into the rhythm, maybe avoid it. ^^;

Obviously Temple Run, it's on the mobile phone and it uses one finger! Almost like that Minion Rush rip-off.

I've got a suggestion here:

Five Nights at Freddy's (1 and 2) for Android, you can use 1 finger to move your view around and press the Light and Door buttons, in case you are unable to hold the mobile (or tablet), you can place it on a table, your bed or something.

Just be careful not to hit your hand on somewhere hard XD

Be ready 4 Freddy.
