I am a big fan of games in general. Anyone play any interesting  non-video games?  Pokemon cards, Munchkin, Betrayal at House on the Hill, or even an overly elaborate x3 version of Mousetrap.

When I was a kid I played HeroQuest which was sort of like Dungeons and Dragons meets board game. I also enjoyed the heck out of a version of chutes and ladders called Fantasy Forest.

Not to go on down memory lane, now I play a lot of Carcassonne, a city-building tile game which is bigger in Europe. Its sort of like dominoes, but with pictures, and without the knocking them all down thing.

Anyone play anything unusual they'd like to share?

I don't really play unusual tabletop games, the ones I've played everyone's possibly played them.

I really liked mousetrap when I was little, even though it took forever to set up, it was still really fun. I also used to (And still do sometimes) play monopoly.
I also used to play this one that some of you may never heard of..I can't even remember what it was called..I think it was called ker-plunk or something like that. Basically there were 10 or so marbles in the middle of this weird container thing that had lots of straws poking out of it. The aim was to remove as many straws as possible without the marbles falling down.

Yeah, I really like playing table top games. My brother, sister and myself really like playing Monopoly although we hardly ever finish the games we start. I have a few WWE DVD board games that I like playing and a Marvel trivia game that I pull out every once and while. My brother and myself have been playing with my Buffy Trumps cards a lot lately.

My mom has this huge wooden board game called crokinole that I love. You get these wooden disks that you have to flick toward to the other players disks to score and...I really can't remember how to play it. lol It's been a while, but it's a really fun game, even if your fingers are sore from flicking the discs afterwards.

Fishergirl7 : i've never heard of crokinole. It sounds like one might have to go on a disc hunt at the end of the game to find them all!

I used to play lots of card games with the play cards. I would play Chinese Poker, regular Poker, Slap Jack, I Declare War, and Turtle with my cousins and my friends whenever I could. Whenever I go to my cousins' houses, I would sometimes play Pictionary.

endings : DnD and Pathfinder, I love those games but I also enjoy Star Wars Saga and the Fan made pokemon RPG. I guess I'm just a standard nerd who enjoys rolling the dice and hoping for luck.

Oh, gosh, we play a lot of table-top games at my house. Cards-we love go-fish for when we're just goofing off (but always the collect-four version) and cribbage when we're more serious. War is the ultimate 'brain-dead' game. And we have a set of Monty Python and the Holy Grail cards we whip out sometimes to play.

Board games-we play Scrabble, Monopoly (we have the Star Wars version), Life (we have the Simpsons version!), Clue (also the Simpsons version, but I'm going to get my mom the Big Bang Theory version for her birthday, shhh!) Scattergories, Yahtzee, Connect Four, Battleship, Chinese Checkers, Sorry (we have this really neat board my grandfather made for me-he carved a wooden board with marble holes, painted it by hand, and varnished the whole thing. We use those decorative plant marbles with the slightly flattened side instead of real marbles).

We still play D&D every now and then (but we've radically redesigned the rules to make it more 'video-game' style, like not bothering to pay attention to how much stuff we have in our inventory and not counting arrows, cause it's just more fun. Purists please refrain from yelling at me, mmkay?)

I play Othello and Guess Who and Checkers with one of my aunts sometimes. Other than that, I used to play a lot of Kings in the Corner and Phase 10 when I was younger.

Well, I never played a lot of games like that, because I never had a lot of time for that, but I can remember that I used to play chess with my brother, and that I always won xD
