Here is yet another anime review, These are getting more and more difficult to write and I will probably take a break at the end of this month for a while. I mean I dread to think how many anime reviews I have done in total but as long as people find them informative that is all that matters

As usual if you have an opinion about the anime , and you agree or disagree with my opinion leave a post explaining why. Thank you.

Synopsis
The seventh heir to the Kyoto Ryu sword art , Yasuri Shichika lives on a very lonely island with his sister . Shichika is visited by a woman named Togame , requesting that he help her find the last twelve swords made by the legendary sword smith , Shikizaki Kiki . He agrees to help her and they begin their quest to find the final twelve swords . Swords so powerful and unique in their design they can change so much around them .

Genre 10
Time to change things up , this has action , adventure and exciting history ! This was written by the same guy that made all the of the other gatari , however this is it's own separate story , you do not have to follow the whole series to be able to watch this . A major plus seeing as I am not too interested in starting a big series at the moment aside from what I am already watching . This story also holds a fair share of romance in it , it is hard to believe something with so much to it holds it all in with twelve episodes , though the episodes are a bit lengthy .

Story 9
Exactly as the synopsis says , these two characters embark on a quest searching for the last twelve swords . Unlike it's counterparts with the other gatari's this story is much more precise and to the point . They do not have all this other back story as the others do . Each sword gets its own episode with the two main characters Shichika and Togame chasing after them . Another neat thing about the story of this is while this was being produced they released one episode a month , and it was sort of real time in that aspect as for every month the seasons were as they would be in real life . The major character development throughout the series also provides for its story line , as you watch these people grow into passionate beings . This is one of the most unique stories I have come across as you never know what to expect in each episode . The only downfall to the story is how much you have to rely on all the conversation . I have a bit of a problem with this in most anime but for this it never felt like a problem .

Characters 10
In each episode Shichika and Togame meet someone new , and Shichika having never left his home island learns new things from all these new people and new surroundings . He develops from all of this and builds his character around it , he becomes his own person and more than what he claims to be in the beginning . On their own , Togame and Shichika are a very charming duo as all their conversations with one another are so keen and you really get pulled into them . Their talks flow so well with each other , everything they become feels like it was just meant to be and you never find yourself wondering how things happened the way they did . Not to leave Togame out of this , she too grows from every situation she comes into , she is a mischievous woman who wants the swords for some seemingly unknown reason but as you learn more about her and see her grow into the person she becomes you see her meaning .

Detail 9
Very unique in its field , the art for this series is something you will find yourself not used to in any regards . The art is like the story itself , unique and beautiful . Seemingly made in a fashion that comes across as a sort of folklore tale . The movements of the characters are done beautifully , the fight scenes done so fluidly there is no break in the animation . Though at times it may seem a bit cheaply made , in more unimportant scenes , which is slightly disappointing in those regards since there seems to be so much effort put into this.

Sound 8
Another unique bit in this series is the music they utilize . What can simply be described as rap has its own special flow and design . It works very well with the series and adds well to the ambiance of it all . As a fan of rap though I can not just leave it at that . The original opening and ending while very unique in their field were pleasant to the ear however fell a bit short for me and I never found myself too wowed by it all , only wowed by the fact that they did something rather uncommon in anime . Moving away from the first OP and EN , the OP for the later half of the show really flowed well with the whole series and was a major step up from the original .

Addictiveness 10
This took me around three days to complete and if not only for the fact that I was fairly busy throughout those three days I would have finished it much sooner . This series held my attention like not many can , I wanted to follow every story and see what every new sword was like , see who they would meet and what the world would look like . This was a wonderful piece that I enjoyed to no end .

Over-All 9
I wish I could give this a 10 , it really deserves one but there were small things that could be improved upon and it is no use handing out such a perfect score to something that I know has faults . The more you watch this series the more you get dragged into the very core of it and love it more and more , each episode holds so much promise and it does not let you down in the slightest . Everything in this is so unique and refreshing I highly recommend it.

What's this an anime from a different genre , Jokes aside. It really is getting hard to write these now. Mainly because I do not have the time to work upon the reviews as much as I used to, (I used to write drafts and then an actual review, but now I just have time for reviews in case your wondering) Either way it was refreshing to review something slightly different and I hope you appreciate that I am trying to make the genre of the anime varied a bit.

As per usual if you have any likes or dislikes on how I write my reviews let me know, I am always up for help and useful criticism... Not just "Your review sucks" because that helps nobody . Besides perhaps filling my lungs with the oxygen they need when I suck so much
