I considerate my self like a destructive controller and consoles
I remember When I have my PS2 using it I destroyed like 7 or 8 controllers and also repair the console like 3 or 4 times
I don't known why I am a console destroyer
maybe a console doesn't resist 5 playing hours per day
and about you, did you destroyed a console or controller and how you did it ?

I didn't destroy a console but I had one of my handhelds broken. One of my younger cousins broke my Gameboy SP when he fell on the screen of it and then the screen of my Gameboy SP turned all black and it cracked.

I was angry about that especially when my Gameboy SP was a gift from my parents. I couldn't even play my Gameboy Advance games until I got a Nintendo DS Lite a couple of years later.

Wow, how did it cut in half? o.O And I thought mine was bad enough...

I accidentally dropped a DS, and a corner hinge broke off. The only Nintendo product I've had that I had to replace (it still worked though, to its endurance - the second screen was just wobbly) in normal shelf life.

I have not broken controllers. Though I have not once, but twice, broken headsets in FPS shooters. Those things are flimsy anyways.

And way back in the day, when Street Fighter II, the hottest game of the time, came to SNES, I threw that SUPER durable SNES game so many times, I eventually knocked the chip loose inside. I eventually reseat the chip, and played it again.... and within a month, I threw it again.  I was mean to SFII, but honestly, its difficulty was mean to me too back then.

I have broken so many consoles and controllers that I've lost count.

I remember playing my Wii, and was trying to hook up Project M. Well, it seemed that I downloaded in a wrong way. So, when I plugged it in my Wii, it broke from trying to read the SD Card. After the incident occurred, I couldn't play ANY of my Wii/Gamecube games at all! Later in the month of July, my parents bought me a Wii Mini. Sure I was happy, but I can't use my Gamecube controllers, Gamecube games, and SD Cards.

I've succeeded in breaking one console so far: a N64. I was holding a glass bottle and i tripped. The water spilled into the socket and screwed everything up.

As for controllers, I've never broken one, unless severing the cord of a GCN controller counts.

I did break or had broken a few handhelds before. The first was my DS Lite back in December 2007, and the 2nd was my PSP on January 8th 2014. Both times the handhelds were smashed on the ground. I never had a console broken though and I doubt that I ever broke a controller, though it may have happened once or twice when I was much younger, but I don't remember if I did.

The only thing that I can remember that I have broken between a console and a controller is my old SNES. I was like 3 years old, though. Dad had hid Diet Coke can on top of the console, so I wanted to be cool like Dad, so I put my Sprite can on the console, too. Well, when Dad went to take a drink, I would go to take a drink. He would put hit back, and I would put hit back. Well, a 3 year old has tiny hands, and he accidentally bumped me, and the last half of my sprite can ruined the SNES console. And we were on the last area of Super Mario Bro's, too.

In less than a year of having a PS3, I have destroyed 3 controllers for it.  Granted, I do have anger issues and was playing through Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2.  Though my 3rd was an afterglow controller that broke when it slipped out of my hands.

I remember once, I got so mad at a game one time i threw the controller at the wall, the dumb thing bounced back after I threw it and hit me right in the head, it was from that day forward that I knew video games can, and do fight back if you make them mad, maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but someday that controller will find that weakness you have.

I've had a couple of controllers that have broken naturally (not from abuse, e.g. control stick dies from overusing), and only one console I broke my original DS by dropping it on the floor which made the screen slightly broken, spilling cream soda on it which made the buttons not work as well, spilling water on it, then spilling water on it a second time. I'm really surprised it lasted that long. I really, really abused the poor thing. I also broke my DS Lite's l and r buttons somehow. No big deal though. My 3DS control stick is also loose so it desyncs very quickly.

The only thing I've broken was a DS Lite. I don't remember dropping it, although it probably started the problem. The hinge on one side got weak, and eventually snapped off, so the screen doesn't stay in place. The shoulder buttons on that one are also worn down a lot, especially the R one, because all the hours of tons of Snaking in Mario Kart DS took a huge toll on the poor button.

Only once. I was playing Amped and was trying to get all of the snowmen. There was this one I couldn't get and eventually I just got so mad that I threw the controller at my door. It wasn't long afterwards that I ended up throwing the game and cracking it too.

This thread must have been made for me. Whenever I get upset at the game I am playing I would break it depending on how upset it makes me. If my system is just plain out malfunctioning while I am in the middle of a game. It's over for it for that system. I once broke my xbox 360. I was playing this game called Bully when the game suddenly froze in the middle of a cut scene. I kicked it so hard. I gave it a red ring of death. Games are sometimes tools that loves grinding your gears. However I still love them dearly. I broke my Game boy Advance SP once because the light stopped working and I had to play it like a regular Game Boy Advance. You can tell how pissed I was. I slammed the top screen on my bed and it would start hanging off. It still worked however I still regretted it.

No matter how frustrated or angry I got with a game I never destroyed any of my controllers or console because it costs big money to replace those and I don't feel like paying money to replace it every time something doesn't go my way.

I smashed my PS2 controller in a fit of rage when playing Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World. The game was so fun but waaaay too difficult even on its lowest setting. The L1 button no longer works.

Awesome, I'm not the only one! Yeah, I've broken quite a few controllers... Let me think. At least 3 GameCube controllers, 2 Xbox 360 controllers, I partially broke my PS3 controller but everything still works on it, and my DS lite.

For the GameCube controllers and Xbox controllers, they still worked fine afterward, it's just I broke small stuff like a trigger (well not small I guess) or bumper or the cover on the analog sticks...

For the PS3 controller, I smashed it on the ground a few times and it makes a weird shaking particle sound indicating I broke something inside the controller, but it works perfectly fine .

I slammed my head into my DS lite one to many times and the top screen came off its hinge... It still works though, I fixed it but the top screen annoys me because everything that's supposed to be black is green.
